"I will wear high heels so you can hear my approach on the cobblestones and have time to repent. You listen for my footsteps." Combined with that bell going off in the pause. Best scene in probably the whole series!
Sir Oswald Moseley was a real figure in British ‘30s politics (see wikipedia) and Sam Claflin effortlessly captures the entitled (Moseley was a Baronet), arrogant and confident demeanour and air of superiority of the ‘upper class’ Englishman, many of whom flirted with the idea of ‘Fascism’ during the period that Hitler, Mussolini and Franco were riding high on a ‘populist wave’ in Europe. Claflin even looks very much like him.
His son max mosley was a wrong un too. Ended up becoming F1 drivers president...I guess money talks...although F1 seems like the type of sport that would welcome such an individual..
It's such an interesting show in that the 'heroes' are themselves so morally compromised. Arthur doing what he did is indefensible, and is one of a few examples where we are forced to concede they are not 'good' men. At the same time you have moments like the opening scene which shows they do have a moral code and there are people/organisations who purport to have moral authority, yet are capable of horrors far beyond what the Blinders would accept. I guess it's like Lizzie said - there is Good and Evil in all of them - and the Bartender from the first season - 'you're bad men. But you're our bad men'. Another great reaction and really enjoying reliving this series with you guys. A few heavy episodes sitting between now and the end of the series!
Mosley was a real person and a VERY Dangerous man. Churchill threw him in jail during WW2. his son max mosley was high up in F1 And also caught doing errr unsavoury things in the early 00s
11:14 literally the devil incarnate. We have some bad men in this series, but he may top them all. 11:49 yes, he is. Have a look at some of his other work.
My Nana grew up in a catholic orphanage in the 30s and the things that happened there over her 16 years are numerous and unspeakable. Never forgive. I'll never walk into a church.
The opening scene with the nuns was presented to me and it's what got me into this show. Been waiting since you two first started reacting to Peaky Blinders to see your reaction to this. Heeeeck yes!
Love your shirt Steven, I actually live in the Central Plateau of the North Island of New Zealand and can see Mount Ngauruhoe more commonly known as Mt Doom from my window here
You two are about my favorite reactors. I really need to hears smart people who love the movies, who begin guessing about the script from first scene. I know you have patreon members… But a few more ideas for your movie List. Loved your read on the accountant, one ov my fav Affleck films Safe House is another gem Spy Game is another gem The Perdition is another Gem Pelican Brief a huge gem Gonna add DeJa Vu ( 2006)
No joke during this reaction, youtube showed me an add for the new Cillian Murphy film based on a great book about the girls who were abused in the church.
You REALLY have to watch Animal Kingdom. The actor of Michael stars in it and he does such an amazing job. Also the cody family is something else ... thommy would fit right in there
the call for animal Kingdom grows! Tommy Shelby versus J Cody.....who is more shrewd? Smarter? Ruthless? One thing not debatable is Tommy is way more honest than J
The thing I like about this part of the season is it brings up a fun thing that not a lot of people realize. Communism and Fascism are nearly identical in their beliefs and methodology with the exception of the end goal, so a lot of people are unable to make the distinction until the very end
This is definitely an unpopular opinion but the opening scene to this season felt so corny and out of nowhere for me😂 like I get it that they like kids, but they're the biggest scumbags ever, it just felt so silly and hypocritical for some reason.tommy really thinks his sins, killing probably hundreds of innocent people doesn't compare to to hitting a kid with a brick? Ok pal. plus I can't take Polly seriously sometimes when she's trying to be tough lol
great reaction Nikki and Steven !!! Are we going to see you to react the new Star Wars show The Acolyte ??? I did enjoy your reaction to mandalorian or the book of boba fett and Ahsoka .

"You listen for my footsteps..." that entire scene is one of the best of the entire show 🔥👌🏼💯
Ikr quality television rip Helen mcrory
Favorite opening sequence throughout the whole show!!!!!
"I will wear high heels so you can hear my approach on the cobblestones and have time to repent. You listen for my footsteps." Combined with that bell going off in the pause. Best scene in probably the whole series!
Seeing Polly threaten Lysa Arryn like that was gold.

And got his comeuppance in The Battle Of Cable Street
@@ChelseaDaz lived till the 80s too. too long lived a man honestly.
Curly is the real mastermind behind it all. Playing the long game, moving the chess pieces around like a grandmaster.
To me, PB is the BEST show in TV history. The characters, acting, story, soundtrack, filming etc.

The nun scene is one of the best in the entire series. A masterclass in acting.
If you look up Sir Oswald Mosley you'll realize that this actor nailed it on another level.
Nikki's reaction at 22:57 when Tommy says "You belong to me, my property" 😂. Cause, girl, SAME.
The best opening of the series.
Omg!!! The "nun scene", my absolute favourite scene in all the six seasons.
I LOVE this episode!!! The nun of the orphanage scene, so good!
In fact oswald mosley existed in real life, the actor interprets the speeches very well, I recommend you see it
The orphanage scene! The Arthur one-shot!
This episode was TOP TIER CINEMA!
I’ve been waiting for this ep and the opening scene!!!!! ‘You listen for my footsteps’. EPIC!!
Mosley was a real person and a VERY Dangerous man. Churchill threw him in jail during WW2. his son max mosley was high up in F1 And also caught doing errr unsavoury things in the early 00s
I never forgot that intro scene. The BEST EVER
See Micheal do an American Southern California accent in Animal Kingdom! An exceptional crime drama!
One Vote for Animal Kingdom ❤
Yes! I also recommended it.
11:14 literally the devil incarnate. We have some bad men in this series, but he may top them all. 11:49 yes, he is. Have a look at some of his other work.
Yes he is.
My Nana grew up in a catholic orphanage in the 30s and the things that happened there over her 16 years are numerous and unspeakable. Never forgive. I'll never walk into a church.
"My brother and I are the same person"... it's just everything
I knew Nikki would love this intro 😌 soo satisfying and amazingly acted 🙌🏻
Having Cillian and Sam Claflin in my fave show was such a treat! They’re both amazing
I always think there’s a certain irony that Tommy, a notorious gangster, murderer, and crime boss, thinks Mosley is “the devil”
"You listen for my footsteps"
"I am the one who knocks"
Such power in those lines. Two of my all time favorite TV quotes.
I love Alfie too, completely unpredictable and always spoke so well

Oswald Moseley was a real historical figure. And that is as much spoiler as I will give.
Mosley is scary because he seems so untouchable
Agreed the villains in this season are all top tier.
Yes. The nun scene is forever top 5 in the show
You two are about my favorite reactors. I really need to hears smart people who love the movies, who begin guessing about the script from first scene. I know you have patreon members…

Safe House is another gem
Spy Game is another gem
The Perdition is another Gem
Pelican Brief a huge gem
Gonna add DeJa Vu ( 2006)

30:58 wtf was that reaction?💀 A fkin grenade fell in front of him and he looked at Jimmy like "what do I do boss?"
16:43 There’s a great fun movie Aiden is asupporting role in called Sing Street. Highly recommend.
He put the cigarette on the floor and threw the lighter because he felt disrespected that Tommy didn’t come alone
Vote for BBC Luther with Idris Elba
How about the amazing sountrack for this series also ??????? It is just nuts IMO !
It’s always excellent
the call for animal Kingdom grows! Tommy Shelby versus J Cody.....who is more shrewd? Smarter? Ruthless? One thing not debatable is Tommy is way more honest than J

Who caught that the nun was Lysa Arryn (Sansa's Aunt) from Game of Thrones?! (Kate Dickie).
Lysa Arryn, Little Finger's Wife, was the Nun that Tommy was talking to. !! 😮😮
Narcissa Malfoy is bad ass
"Arthur ,god Jesús!" I mean, they are gangsters from the 1930's that went to war.......so what do you expect?!
Please react to scary stories to tell in the dark if you have not already seen it❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Off topic I know… but loving the T-Shirt Steven 🫡
21:06 his real accent came out for a second.
Mordor national park 😂
the actor yoy like so much nikki is the actor from the hunger games. he used to carry the old woman around
Have you reacted to Oppenheimer yet?
sam claflin is so good at playing an easily hateable character.
Is it paranoia if they are actually out to get you?
Homelander?
This is definitely an unpopular opinion but the opening scene to this season felt so corny and out of nowhere for me😂 like I get it that they like kids, but they're the biggest scumbags ever, it just felt so silly and hypocritical for some reason.tommy really thinks his sins, killing probably hundreds of innocent people doesn't compare to to hitting a kid with a brick? plus I can't take Polly seriously sometimes when she's trying to be tough lol
Steven! Where do you get that T-shirt brother?!
28:31 from lord balish no less lol

great reaction Nikki and Steven !!!
Are we going to see you to react the new Star Wars show The Acolyte ??? I did enjoy your reaction to mandalorian or the book of boba fett and Ahsoka .
Nope. Watching it off camera.
You know Polly wanted to kill the head nun for what happened to Michael when he was a child.
The Orville , let's switch up the style guys.
React to Snowfall after finishing peaky blinders
please!!! that or Yellowstone!
it was a damn shame Helen (Polly) died before the last season
I vote for LOST next on the binge watch list
When will Spartacus be shown some respect
for the children
Love Curly
PRISON BREAK GUYS 🙏
Vote for Prison Break to be next❤
I vote Yellowstone should be next. It’s on the same level of SOA & Peaky Blinders
We announced a while ago that Yellowstone is next. We’re almost done with S1 on patreon/YT members.
@@NikkiStevenReact I’m so sorry. I’ve been so busy I didn’t see! Yay! Hope yall are enjoying it. It’s great!
mosley was hitlers right hand man irl
VOTE FOR PRISON BREAK TO BE NEXT
Another great show with a host of great actors
Has to be surely!?
Personally I'd like Money Heist
Top 3 show ever
Holy shit bros cooking
what would you do for love
Why has none of these channels ever gone over the show banshee If anybody likes the actor that plays homelander, Banshee is his other best role
The reference to the ‘Fury family’ was surely a nod towards Gypsy King boxer Tyson Fury..
