- In this video I review the GI Joe Classified Cobra Snow Serpent. I’ll compare him to the O-Ring and see how close they made him. We look at the articulation, paint, sculpt and accessories.

my husband’s eyes lit up when i got him this one he dug through an old box full of his favorite things and he still has the original one. I love seeing my husband kept his toys in excellent shape.
He even kept the packaging from the 1980s the sticker and price kind of faded but Misawa AFB BX
was still visible. Father-in-law is retired United states Air Force and loved collecting with my husband his son. Interestingly enough my husband told me there was many USAF BX exclusives that were released mostly on military bases. My husband is a big fan of the A-10 Thunderbolt 2 (Warthog) and his prized toy is an A-10 released for GI Joe sold on bases in 1987. I thought it was Cobra Rattler but it obviously an A-10 and it doesn’t have a fuselage rear gun turret or wings that go Vtol.
Yes i’m a military spouse so i know a lot about military terminology and equipment my husband showed me.

Haha, it shows your husband taught you well! Even about the GI Joe lore. And the Rattler is a holy grail for many collectors, and instantly recognizable, so that you instantly thought Rattler made me smile.
And anyone from young boy to older collector would be thrilled getting this figure as a gift. Awesome.

As a kid I’m pretty sure any of us that live in snow areas tied to tie tennis rackets to our feet and walk in the snow. Yes, I used to think it was the St Bernard packs too 😂😂😂
Sweet review. Strange that the back of the box has a different snowboard. The bindings are reversed on the actual toy.
The snowshoes are modified so they can go on the backpack? They got 2 extra rectangular holes compared to how those of Snowjob look. This would I believe be the first time accessories get retooled to fit with another accessory? Sadly they didn't put a sheeth for the knife with the figure, and just tossed in the knife anyways.

I had a Cobra Wolf and trooper driver/pilot. The snow theme is awesome. But I don't think we will ever get such a large vehicle. At least not regular release. And it isn't that staple. But as regular releases, they could easily do a Polar bear and the Ice Snake. I also had a Sgt Stalker v2 tundra ranger. Coming with a white jacket the white mask white weapons and the kayak. That would be an awesome deluxe.
The original figure was a paratrooper, so I think the pouch is a backup shute. I reckon we'll definitely get a retro carded ver. Maybe there is a tactical reason to ride the snowboard in a goofy stance like easier shooting for right handed people.
You know what would have been even better, Having a working shute. With a figure. And there is enough materials around to make it look like a figure is hanging from a shute, with it hanging from the ceiling and looking real.
That would be awesome. With the massive Cobra logo dead center.
They should have done that, go all out.
Theres a trade off with the warpage, it doesn't crack. Some of those other plastic accessories don't give u that tolerance. Once it bends, it either cracks or has that white stress mark. I guess pick your poison 🤷🏻♂️
Come on, goofy is the only way to skate, I used to skate goofy style and if Tony Hawk skate's this style then everyone should. Not a good reason not to use the snowboard. I love this figure, I actually ordered 7 of these bad boys, 6 to display, one MIB and I will use the wolf pelt as the leader of course and pose the others with a mixture of snowboard/snow shoes. The only things that I don't like about this figure is the camo from the bottom of the snowboard should have been used in the Snow Serpent's suit, they should have given you somewhere to put that damn small knife. I also do not like the glue gun they came with so I have some AK-47's from Gridiron Studios that will be used in place of their weapons. I guess a couple more last little gripes about this figure would be that they should have made the gear either a dark navy blue color or dark grey for camo reasoning and given the goggles a blue tint like the Arctic BAT face shield. All in all I think they hit a home run with this figure, no need for a retro version. Yo Punk, how many do you normally get when you army build a figure? I for some reason feel like I get too many but I may be wrong.
So I understand why you would say that it’s a dumb reason not to use the snowboard but understand this, I’ve spent 35 years picturing and imagining how to do and learn tricks regular foot, so it’s it’s hard to switch it over and make something or someone do it goofy. Yes strange, but how my mind works.
As for army building, I just buy as many as I seem fit, no specific number. I’ve started to back off on them cause there are so many repaints that you are army building just buying one of each figure.
@@Apunkwithtoys Completely understand you not using the snowboard but it is so dang awesome. They should have made it to give you the option of how you want to display the foot holders on the board somehow, that would have been cool. I also feel like I am going to have to back off of the army building as well. G.I. Joe is going really strong and has no end in sight as of now so I am sure like you said that we will be getting a serious amount of repaints. Probably get a Python Patrol Techno-Viper, Jungle BAT, Jungle Crimson Guard, Jungle Tele-Viper, Desert Tele-Viper, etc....
@@whiskeytangofoxtrot2 it’s crazy how much we are getting so hell it’s not only if you have the funds, but space, and this is only one line. But I’m not gonna complain that we have TOO much stuff 😂

Way too expensive for a ton of accessories I don't want & will never use. I only wanted the base figure how it looked in the 80's. One of my favorites & in my top 3 most wanted for Classified (Sci-Fi, Techno-Viper & Snow Serpents). But this is a huge disappointment so I won't be getting it. $24.99 was already too hard to swallow.
