I notice that the “blush” on the color wheel is a cool pink, which is what I always thought, but the “blush” offered in garments in the early 2000s weren’t that color, they were peach. It’s funny how the names of colors vary so much. For example, my best color was always called aqua, a pale blue-green. When I search for that color now, it comes up with almost any color of blue or blue-gray. The aqua of my youth is apparently called “light turquoise”. What do you consider to be the most official source of color names?
I can only wear cooler pinks, so I just couldn’t find any pink that suited me during those 20 years of “blush” pinks, which were warm, yellowish pinks or even peach, awful orangey colors with my cool coloring.

Thank you for the free download! Wondering how I could wear both cool colors and warm colors but I do believe I am cool deep high contrast and noticed the universal colors on the color wheel ..duh
No matter what shade of red I try to wear I look horrible. I need pink in every lip and cheek product. 🤷🏻♀️ searched for my perfect red for over 20 years until I discovered pink. 🙂
Sounds like you may have cool undertones. A lot of reds out there can be a bit warm which may conflict with your cool coloring. Just a guess.
@@YourColorStyle I think so too. 🙂 but I always have to add green colour corrector in my foundation, because of my olive undertone. 🙂
What does the asterisk by the color names mean on your charts?
I think these are the univeral colors, who can wear everybody(warm and cool). But I would never wear the color 06 yellow ;-)
