Another stunning trip report video on my favorite airline… Drum roll please, 🥁 🥁 🥁, EMIRATES!!! I love to see you and your family in your videos your son Eric is very dad-like, a aviation geek! Haha! We took Emirates to Bangladesh, and superb service from the crew, much appreciated for the information on your flight//aircraft!
Thank you for the kind words you’ve started your video on Turkey and Syrias’ earthquake. Emirates sending humanitarian aid and support is very helpful and appreciated!

I flown Emirates just 1 day back from now, Everything was almost fine, I really enjoyed the IFE, The quantity of food was also amazing. I am an Emirates traveller for more than 10 years now! i miss the old Emirates.
In older days, upon entry they used to give a hot towel, Refreshment spray around the cabin,
On reaching cruising altitude they used to give away big bags to kids (handbags or sometimes backpacks) full of stickers, magazines, colour books, pens, puzzles etc. After distribution they gave refreshment drinks and appetisers, then after 1 or 20 minutes the main course was served.(2018)
But now the seats are not that wide, I used to sit legs folded on my old flights. Instead of bags or handbags, cilden just got a book and colorpencils, Then photographs were clicked. The refreshment drinks, the appetiser and the main course were served at once and i would say pretty late for an empty stomach like mine! The cutlery was metal although. The children got a lot of food icluding desserts etc. Some improvements, a lot of cost cuttings yet flying was amazing!

I’m sad to hear about your weak, I hope all is better now.
I kind of shot myself in the foot with the introductions and songs, as with some airlines I just can’t come up with anything, like when it was just a plain normal flight.. Ah well!
My father in law is from Croatia, we went to Turkey for a day to rest prior to continuing to Zagreb. It was a way to avoid an overnight flight which I try to avoid with a child.

Have flown Emirates from NYC to Budapest and a lot of Europe in between and back to India, super flights all! Not only does Emirates have great connectivity to places all over the world , the food and service is great on any flight. Love the Emirates lounges at the airport , they have a buffet spread like no other airport lounge , you’re really spoilt for choice for food and liquor inflight and on the ground .All adds up to the experience, not to mention the super lounge in the A380 for business and first ,if you want to stretch your legs and meet fellow travellers over cocktails and bubbly !

On this particular route I prefer Emirates.. TK and I just don’t really get along very well somehow. But I guess it’s different if you’re based in Europe as they’re the best airline around that area, but here in the Middle East they’re not so it’s kind of a downgrade.

I do hope you will make MORE videos on QR going forward, as I really LOVED your QR QSuite video from Doha-SFO. I thought that was so sweet of you to bring chocolates for the Crew. If they can do it, then anyone around the world who has the tenacity not to quit can also make it in life as well. Nobody believed what Dubai can do when they first started out while everyone at that time was laughing at their neighboring underdog next door.

That doesn’t sound crazy at all Marc, it is very likely that I’ve done the same. I’m sure that by now you’ll actually be able to tell which McDonald’s in the world you like best and which not.
My McDonalds anecdote: Christmas day 2017, Shanghai, China. I was craving a burger after having had enough of Chinese food for the week, and right in front some funny guy blew up like 100,000 fire crackers. So the whole McDonalds filled up with smoke.
The smoke detector went off and out of the 20 or so sprinklers only 2-3 actually worked. Coincidentally the one above me, but I didn’t care as I just wanted to eat my burger.
      Made in China 🤷🏻‍♂️

It’s a gulf after all, which one it is is up for the viewer to choose. Specially when it’s a channel about aviation and not geography.
Responding to your comment; it depends where you’ve been raised and what quality of it. I don’t know if it’s Abu Dhabi, Karachi or elsewhere. But I was thought the 3 common names. 😊

@@TheLayoverAviation with all respect, that was the most nonsense answer I could ever be told. It's like I call Italy, France because I've been taught this way, or call America, Africa because some black people live there. Names are not something discussable and this part of the world has always been named PERSIAN GULF throughout the history. I'm saying it because aviation is strictly connected to geography. Thank you

The only thing that could bother me, if traveling alone, is the 2-3-2 configuration. It’s otherwise great if with my wife and son.
But the IFE, service and crew continue to be one of the best.

The world really came together in Turkey for the past weeks and showed how we can still all collaborate with love and care. Unlike all the other silly and sad conflicts around..
      I’ve got new shoes!
      Thanks for watching!!

Eric is big indeed.. So I have a problem now, because I have many more flights with him already recorded. But he was younger, so if I publish those he might shrink and grow etc 😂
