Yeah, Mothers really shines them up, gonna have to get that polisher wheel because my old fingers get sore doing it by hand. Accidently got some PB-Blaster on my truck wheels when trying to free them up to rotate them and when I wiped the PB-Blaster off the wheel was super shiny, needless to say I polished the entire wheel with PB-Blaster and it lasted all winter LOL

Those rims turned out great. I might have to try the Mothers Power Cone. I have a set of imitation Center Lines on the '80 Powerwagon. 10" wide with fake rivets around the wheel face. Trying to clean off the black paste around each rivet drives me nuts. That's why I know use an acid etching cleaner. Spray it on, quick scrub and hose it off, leaves a nice satin finish.

I used one of those on my 2004 Yukon wheels. talk about magic.

Man those wheels look so slick I recon you could get an extra 1/4 second on the strip.

after you give your wheels a good polish if you get a dryer sheet wet and hit them every once in awhile it's easier to keep the shine it also works good on getting bugs off of your headlights and Chrome accessories it's like they just melt away without you having to scrub pretty cool s***

My truck rims look like the dull side in your video..i got mothers mag n alum cleaner, think my rims ate polished aluminum. I dont have the drill pads or anything but if i use it by hand will it look closer to chrome than aluminum? I just thought that was my rims finish.

it was the Mother mag and aluminum polish
Put new tires on my bike 2 weeks ago while they were off I spent 2 hours per wheel polishing the aluminum rims and oooh boy.

weld prostars. 10 inch rear and 4.5 fronts. Rear tires are some Mickey drag radials 275-50

If I never polish aluminum wheels again, it will be too soon. Anyone ever have aluminum wheels clear-coated or clear powder coated? Does that work out well?
In my particular experience years ago w/ aluminum rims the clearcoat eventually wore out & finally started to flake off. They were Boyd Customs Billet Tornado's, very pricey & they came coated from the factory.
I have some polished wheels which are clear coated and they look great, but as tat2titan said it is only a matter of time until the clear coat wears and flakes. And when it does start to flake it looks pretty horrible.
I think a better option would be to polish and coat with wax or wheel sealant.

check out zephyr polishes they do a lot of semi polishing and they turn rims and tanks into metal mirrors check out there Instagram zephyrpolishes I tagged u in on of there posts so u can see how well it works with there cutting and buffing wheel kits
