You have given ChromeCast option for RUclips however you didn’t mention anything about Mirroring iphone’s screen to the TV with Chromecast, can you do that please.. Otherwise I already have RUclips app in Chromecast and no need to mirror it 🤓

Thanks for the tutorial! I have a question. I connect my iphone via airplay to my TV at work. All streaming apps like Netflix, RUclips, and HBO Max stream perfectly with no lag or buffering. But when I try to play a video from my photos app, the video is basically unplayable and stops and buffers continuously. Now keep in mind, the internet at work is only wired for DSL 6 mbps down and maybe 2 mbps up(lol it's an old building). But my question is, why would streaming apps play videos fine but videos from the photos app buffer? Help!
I wish they’d sort out the latency with this, maybe they have. I used to try and mirror my iPad Pro to the TV for full screen COD Mobile but there was just far too much latency for it to be usable. Playing a video on the TV is fine.

So I will have to choose screen mirroring option with those. Is there a lag with playing the video with screen mirroring ? Like the video and sound lagging or anything like this?
UPDATE: Lighting to HDMI cables DO NOT WORK with IOS 16+ anymore! Apple has patched that function in attempts to eliminate copyright issues via HDMI. :(

Do you know why downloaded RUclips videos cannot be mirrored to a TV? You can't do it with an HDMI cord either. But no problem doing it with downloaded movies from Netflix or Amazon or other similar services. Only streamed RUclips videos will play on a TV.

I am using a TV provider App and either I hardwire or Chromecast from iPad/iPhone to TV. The App will mirror to the TV until I actually want to watch the tv show. When I tag the show I want to watch, it will play on the iPad/iPhone but the TV goes blank. When I back out of the tv show, it then goes back to mirroring the iPad/iphone to the TV. This is the first time I’ve had an issue mirroring or casting. Could the App possibly have a lock on it?

I am using the lightening connector and using an app on my phone for workouts, the video works for about 10 seconds and then pauses, I have to hit play again and it will play for another 10 seconds and pause. Any ideas on why? Thanks!

Airplay is great, except when you get a phone call. It’ll stop streaming as soon as someone calls you. Chromecast, doesn’t stop even if you get s phone call. Hope Apple fixes that.

Mine’s not compatible with Sony Bravia via AirPlay.
The TV also needs to support 120hz ProMotion or it won’t be responsive.
