My First Shopping Experience in English Hi, I’m Grace. I’m an exchange student. I participated in a language exchange program in the USA. I stay with an American host family. They are so kind to me, and I'm learning a lot of English from them. Life here is full of new experiences. Last week, I had a new challenge. For the first time, I had to go shopping by myself. There's a grocery store not far from where I live. It's just a 5-minute walk. I was a bit nervous but also excited. It was a good chance to practice my English. I needed to buy a sweater and some other things at the store. As I walked to the store, I practiced in my mind what I would say. “Hi, I need a sweater. Where can I find it?” I repeated this sentence a few times. When I arrived at the store, I was greeted by a friendly staff member. I said my practiced sentence, and he smiled and showed me the way to the clothing section. There were so many sweaters to choose from. I found a blue one that I liked. It was soft and just my size. I tried it on and it fit perfectly. I felt proud that I was doing this all by myself. Next, I went to get groceries. My host family had given me a list of things to buy. It included bread, milk, eggs, and some vegetables. Finding these items was like a treasure hunt. Each time I found something on the list, I felt more confident. When I got to the checkout, I had to speak English again. I placed my items on the counter and the cashier asked me a question. I didn’t understand at first, so I politely asked, “Could you please repeat that?” She asked if I wanted to pay by credit card or in cash. So I said, “Cash, please”. After paying, I packed my things and started walking back home. The bags were heavy, but my heart was light. I had successfully completed my shopping trip in English. I couldn’t wait to tell my host family about my adventure. It was a small step for some, but for me, it was a big achievement in my language-learning journey.

That's a fantastic practice method! Writing down what you hear and then checking it is a great way to improve your listening skills and vocabulary. Keep up the good work, and thank you for your support! ❤

hi, please tell me what app you used to edit video and which transitions animation is. I really like the smooth transitions in your videos. Please share it with me
Improving your fluency in English involves a combination of regular practice and exposure to the language. Start by immersing yourself in English through reading, listening to podcasts, watching English movies or shows, and practicing speaking as much as possible. Try to think in English instead of translating from your native language. Consistency is key, so make it a habit to engage with the language daily. Good luck!
@@HàĐặng-f9m Consistency refers to the quality of always behaving in the same way, having the same standards, or repeating the same patterns of behavior. In the context of learning or practicing a skill, such as English, consistency means regularly dedicating time and effort to improve. For example, consistently studying or practicing English every day can lead to significant improvement over time. It's about maintaining a steady and regular approach to achieve a goal.
Absolutely, you can speak English! Some tips include practicing speaking every day, even if it's just to yourself or through recording your voice. Listen to English music, watch movies, and try to mimic the pronunciation and intonation. Most importantly, don't be afraid to make mistakes, as they're part of learning.
Thank you for your feedback! I'm sorry to hear about the difficulty with the repeated sentences. I'll look into improving the clarity and ensuring the audio is more distinct.
