I saw them perform this live on that tour. It was just as slow. And I LOVED it! It sounded amazing. I don't care if any of them can or can not still hit the high notes. It's not about sounding studio recording perfect. It's Fleetwood Mac and they are going to sound amazing no matter what.

Okay, so they did play this again with Chrisine McVie rejoining the band. She was the last standing songwriter on the ill fated album after Buckingham/Nicks left until 2003. I always thought she was underappreciated in the band as she could write tunes like this one just as good as the other two key songwriters. Even in her 70s (as here) she can sing pretty darn well.

It was then discovered that she had a huge knack for writing hit songs, and along with Stevie Nicks wrote their biggest hits. Lindsey Buckingham contributed as well but was less successful than the two women when it came to Billboard. His biggest hit was only their 9th most successful song, Big Love in 1987.
This is one of my favourite fleetwood mac songs if not favorite pop rocks songs ever i think the magic of this song lies in that minor pentathon chinese inspired groove and sound that intro is so good never get tired of that intro.

Saw them on tour at London's O2 and it was possibly the best gig I've ever been to. They may be older but they are as good as they have always been. If I wasn't going on holiday I'd have begged borrowed or stolen a ticket to the show the following day. Long live the Mac!!

For those of you that are interested in this there is a secret Fleetwood Mac studio long play that came out a couple years ago or so that is great. It was/is their first in about a decade and a half that has been released. It is under the name "Buckingham/McVie". The bass player on all of the songs is John McVie and the drummer is Mick Fleetwood on all of them.
There was one concert when mick had to leave in the middle and got sick /2015ish and they couldn’t even go on . Stevie and Lindsey were like well we have to reschedule . The whole vibe was off
I don't know what it is about Little Lies, but I've always loved it more than any other FM song; I wish I could have seen them in concert before Christine passed. It's still as beautiful a song as when I found my mom's old record and put it on back in the early nineties.

They sped the tape up on studio version (and thus, unnaturally sharp in pitch).
