Poland will have 100+ 50 ton range 5 roadwheel ROK spec K2 by 2025, not the heavier NATO spec 6 roadwheel K2PL. Leopard 2A8NOR is already NATO spec. So technically Norway gets their NATO spec tanks sooner.
It's amazing how they maintain the same design for more than 40 years. Of course, it's too expensive to keep the original design, but Leopard is an old-fashioned thing.

Mobility K2 Black panther is better
Because it's 10 tons ligfhter. But that comes with a lower level of protection.
The Black Panther probably has better acceleration that the Leopard, but I doubt it's that much faster if at all.
Because k2 is 56+tons and has HSU so can more soft drive

There's just something about watching two different generations of MBTs together that's so interesting.
Same generation. K2 does not have any substantial design differences that qualify for 4th gen. An autoloader isn't enough, the Leclerc is 3rd gen too.
