I really like the Safari XL. With all the options including the 160 H/P motor and upgraded wings shipped to my door in Arizona right under $95-$98K. That’s a really good price and cheaper then a new KitFox and looks better too.
I’ve done business with both Stefan and Vince. You could not ask for better and more honest men. They are about as good as it comes. Also, I’ve flown an Explorer and a Safari. They are quality aircraft that can fit multiple missions. If you’re on the fence, don’t be. KFA is absolutely top notch.
“…very bad when you order something and can’t get it.” I feel that pain. Intimately. I’ve had an order for a 36 inch ruler with 50ths and 100ths scales from Starrett for over a year and a half (2 years this upcoming November).
Looks like their website is not used to the traffic. :) Please slow down the video of the specs when you include. Almost too fast to pause youtube in the right place. (As the website won't load to get this.)
The new companies are filling in the vast amount of back orders by the traditional kit companies. Good for kit builders. These airplanes are not on the cutting edge of science so why not stamp them out by the dozens for people who want to build airplanes.
Any aircraft that is built to fulfil the identical function is going to have similar physical attributes and have similar functions necessitating a certain look. I dont thing its fair to expect a totally new look for a stol aircraft. Its not a Kitfox copy. Its definitely beefier. If someone came out with a canard stol aircraft(??) then they would claim its a long EZ copy. It is what it is. It looks good to me.
@@kjelld168804 FP-Propeller from Italy. We normally use a hydraulic constant speed unit with the 75" Sensenich blades but on this XL Safari FP designed a new electrically operated prop for us for use with floats. Hence the handy reverse function.
They are all the same, just different size fuselages really. And if you look very closely, they original Bushbaby which is what these are all derived from are Kitfox IV copies. I owned a Explorer and a Kitfox IV and they were almost identical in construction. I ended up selling the Explorer in favour of the Kitfox
man what's the best affordable bush plane I can start with? I love the Savage Norden, but its too expensive for me. What about the Bushcat? or any other?

I could never build an airplane. I'm quite handy but I've Never done anything like that. The planes are gorgeous.
I work for the company that supplies KFA’s Marine Ply.
Universal Plywood 🇿🇦💪

Hey Tyler, hope you are doing well man. Thanks for the endorsement. Will see you soon. Africa is calling again.....
Seems like a pretty put together company... Hope that it is able to progress and get a good following in the US... As it seems to be doing elsewhere
Awesome, I have been following Thomas Marrow for a few years now. Great planes. I need to visit their factory when I am down there in November
Any idea what happened to Thomas ???? He hasn't posted any videos for a long time....😮
KFA Safari is my DREAM plane....❤

Dankie julle and for the English folks "Thanks guys"
As form follows function, the more advanced things become, the more they look alike.

I will have a look, thanks for pointing it out. I know there is an internet issue that side of the ocean.
No chrome molly in South Africa? I have serious doubts about that.

Dean Wilson must be proud!
What is the price of a plane like this
These airplanes are Canadian registered. Interesting.
As you might have noticed this company is registered in London, Ontario, Canada.
Surname is Coetzee
lol, did he just politely say the version for fat people is just for the U.S. market? 😂
So...avid flyer, kitfox 4 copy basically
Didn't he kinda explain why they aren't a copy? Similar but not a copy.

An older Kitfox or RANS S-7, but good luck finding one.
