Fitment Industries steering wheel wrap if your car has one. It’s something you touch every time you drive.
Fitment Industries ngl why is it I think about something and then 30 mins later I notice u have a video on it 😂
Air oil separator, radiator, tires, suspension components. Mainly drivability
Fitment Industries it is a SLIPPERY SLOPE when modding you’re car,any car. It all starts with a stroll to F.I. n then BAM 💥, your looking up parts cashing out your cart full of intake, headers , injectors etc. then your entering your info n shits on its way... travel wisely my bro’s ✌🏽🔰

Number one advice for your daily before any of this: Attend to the check engine light.
Too bad VWs come with them on from the factory 😅
Maybe an oil change.
It's your choice to throw money away of you like doing that.
Those are somewhat overrated , as I haven't done one since 2013 on my daily.
@@AceZWiLD10
They must've forgotten to install one in my 91 Jetta coupe🤔

Week 3 of quarantine: Watching iDubbz talking about car mods.
He looks nothing like idubbbzzz or sounds like him

@@ruskibruski he looks like him a lot
Here at week 50ish.....
Proper mods for a proper daily driver:
1: Normal tires with some sidewall.
2: Maintain it properly.
3: UV blocking tint that's as light as possible.
4: LED bulbs as the halogen bulbs burn out.
5: Sound insulate it and add a modern head unit and maybe some nicer speakers.
6: Do nothing that adds maintenance cost, difficulty or time.
Amen to that!
How would you add more sound insulation?
@@Sneka97 Something like dynomat, and or speaker rings. New rubber seals. Things like that.
So, no turbo? #sadlife
Agreed , not touching the motor on the daily
Let me guess before i watch...
Wheels
Tires
Suspension
What a stretch...
Mods for daily, recommends;
1.) Suspension
2.) Wheels with better fitment
3.) Tires

Wheels spoiler tint
Best daily *MODS*
*Subwoofers*
*Aftermarket double din touch screen stereo*
*Short throw shifter*
*35%* window tint*
*Weighted shift knob*
*Strut bar*
*Axle back exhaust nothing too loud*
*Lowering springs with struts and shocks we want to be lower a bit not too much and we want a better ride quality*
Ah, the double din touch screen is a great mod. It's useful, modernises your car and looks great if done right. But if you don't have a 2din slot it becomes a nightmare to mount.
Don't forget turbo kit and obnoxious stickerbombing
I went for a sub, 205/40/16 wheels, back box exhaust and an induction kit.
faceless Most modern cars have touch screens as an option from the factory so it’s truly not bad at all..if you have an older car then unless you want a project just run a quality head unit that fits it appropriately
Why the hell would you want to DD a manual? Lol
Pro tip:
Wield your diff and use the race gear R on your shifter
Uh... Weld?

MoteC exhaust system?
What is this “reliable” you keep mentioning?
I usually just go with wider aftermarket wheels and buy 10 or 20 mm wider tires with the same aspect ratio as OEM. It fills the wheelgap, gives more traction (wider tires) and more comfort (fatter tire).
All very good reasons. One downside is the turn-in response will be lower with wider tires, especially those that add tire "past" the rim edge.
MSportsEngineering explain further
Does it decrease speed tho
Wider tires actually telepath more noise to the car. Low profile rubber is harsh, less shock absorbing. There is this happy zone where the rubber is not too short, not too tall, not too mushy, not too stiff. Even in outright track times, too low has a negative effect just like too high. Giant wheels with rubber band rubber is nothing but a style exercise, and OEMs seem to be continually going that direction.
I do prefer a bit more width, a bit more poke to the outside, but a very conservative aspect ratio with an emphasis on comfort.
Indeed, mine came in OEM size of 205/40R17 on 17x7 wheels, I changed then for 215/40 and they look like I lower it as they fill the gap of the wheel, doesn't look stretched over the wheel and those few extra mm of sidewall makes the crapy roads feel less harsh.
Alex's face in the thumbnails is probably a snapshot of his reaction whenever they pitch a video idea
My "go to" mods for a daily are : wheels and tires, coilovers, exhaust, maybe intake and that's it.
Yep! Got it all, minus the intake. (Wont do shit for an R18).
+window tint
+boost/bore out/brakes/aero/roll bars/oops I need a new daily
Headlights
Head unit. You want that tasty music and gps in the daily.
This is what I do on my daily:
Tints,
Led swap,
Wheels,
Spolier
Black roof
If needed exhaust intake mod that's all you need
@LeonL47 cause it's cool
why a spoiler? Do you drive 180 mph to work? Intake? Unless you get an intake box, all it's going to do is get heat soaked, making your vehicle unreliable. Also, whenever you change the AFRs, you need a tune.
When you're so rich you end up modding the car too much. Imagine
Damn I can't wait to lower my stock opel agila 98 1.0 with a coilover and slap on some dope ass TE37 rims to increase my daily driving on my semi-slick toyo's.

I once bought a grand marquis to drive daily because I had no desire to do anything to it...10yrs later I’ve built 3 of those cars and have learned more about the panther platform than I ever wanted to 😂..the great thing about that platform is they maintain they’re comfort even when supercharged with big cams and a ridiculous torque converter 👍
intake, cat back, lowering springs or coils , oem upgraded rims (example would be like base cobalt with SS rims), upgraded headlights (hid/LED bulbs)
Alex: Remember keep it reliable!
Me: what about the people who daily a Supra?
Eibach springs are excellent for daily driving as they're softer initial spring rate but its progressive and adds better handling. A strut tower brace is a very easy mod, usually inexpensive, and makes vague steering (like the mentioned corolla) a lot more confidence inspiring.
Thanks for the tip 😉
sorry still need to the wheel game but jw if anyone can help me! My family has an extra set of (5th gen) crv wheels and I was wondering if I can fit them on my (8th gen) civic? The crv specs with tires are 235 x 60 x 18

I'm dailying a 99 mustang. Only things done are muffler delete and some cosmetic mods
Ford emblem removal , the first mod on my list
I love this channel but I've been noticing that it no joke takes 3 minutes to actually talk about the content of the video without the bs promos.
RazorSharpBanana it’s sorta relevant most of the time though homie... we usually discuss , wheels , coil overs , or mods in general that would require us to know where to go... which is ... FitmentIndustries.com for wheels tires or suspension! (: - gotcha xD
On a daily 2012 camry will lowering springs and 18x8.5 work if coilovers are not an option for a while? I checked the gallery but everyone has coilovers. I really don't want to ruin my daily I just want it to look good
I'm not so sure how I could spice up my Miata. It's already the perfect daily driver.
Fatten up tire width a bit, poke to the outside. A nice set of wheels perhaps.
@@exothermal.sprocket twin turbos, I think you meant

I have a twin turbo 370z that's always down. SO I bought a high mileage 350z that was never modded as a daily. Now it has every NA mod waiting to be installed because it was too plain xD
Daily Drive with lowering springs, a decent set of wheels, tires and a smile in my face... priceless..
Hows the ride though when it comes to bumps and potholes?
Well compared to stock its a bit bumpy, but I travel a lot on highway.. traction greatly improved with my current setup.. enjoying my daily drive every bit of it..💪
Am I crazy if I put 19x9 wheels on my GTI? It's My daily (and only car lol)
“You dump all the money on your new car and not your old car”

Stretched tires look dumb anyway.
window tints, exhausts, coilovers, and some cosmetic mods are the only ones i think you should consider for your daily
I don't even have a car lol. I have a 98 blazer but I don't think I'm putting coilovers on that anytime soon lmao
Daily “mods” wheels&tires, tint, taillights/headlights, coilovers and depending on the car maybe maybe maybe an exhaust.
I totally agree :) im doing rims and tires and if I got a new job I will do coils and exhaust and intercooler and a ecu tune :D
Maybe some better brakes as well.
18's look like toy wheels on midsize sedans now a days, I hate it. Now I have to buy 20's to fill the wheel well lol
I started using your site before I knew you had a channel & the fact you try to educate people on various topics and avoid setup mistakes is really dope, instead of just trying to push the product and causing the customer to spend more money after making mistakes. Love you guys, your content & the fact that you're the plug!
I’m dailying a 96’ Camaro 🇺🇸 #projectmerica
Honestly needed this video, I’ve recently bought a 09 accord coupe as my daily car but I’m kinda new to this
Nice! Manual/auto? Either way, the reccomendatiins here are whatcha want.
My beloved first car is rusting out sadly and is unibody frame. So I am going to have to hand weld a new frame onto it section by section. So because I am literally rebuilding my daily, I thought I'd mention some!
1st - battery cut off switch - $15-$50
Allows cutting your battery in heavy winter storms to help preserve it's life and makes electrical maintenance easier. Also you don't have to worry anymore about keeping that loose wire from touching anything - it's still bolted down when disconnected!
2nd - EZ Oil Drain Valve - $20 - $50
Literally a godsend invention - no tool needed! Just lift the handle, and turn it! I would recommend opening the fill plug first though. Makes oil change maintenance 100X easier and also removes any stripping issues that might arise
3rd - Same mod as last, but find the size of your trans fluid drain plug. - Same price too!
Like really, they are missing out on that marketing method!!!
Bonus - at least a 1 pump hydraulic set up. A bit pricier and more something you buy the parts for over time, then do the conversion while driving your nice car daily for a little bit - maybe a week.
You could park it, lift it, and change the fluids without ANYTHING... It's the easiest car to maintain ever!
Being this early feels nice
Spoiler alert
The video is great
"That broken fc rx7 in the garage"

Wheels, paint or liveries and a muffler would suffice for daily driving. Too many engine mods would use up too much fuel if you’re driving a lot. Efficiency is the goal.

What if my daily is my only car?🤔
When I purchased my Lexus IS (F-Sport) last year, it had NiCHE M116 Misano 19" Wheels on them which looked really good. The car was driven in Virginia for a few years, until I bought it and brought it to NYC. I had the car 36 hours in the city and ripped the tire in a pothole. Using it as a daily driver (and autocross/track), but putting daily mileage on it, IN POTHOLE CENTRAL, I had to switch to OEM 17" wheels and I have to worry a little less about ripping tires, although that happens as well. But overall, it's a wall thickness that lets me drive (sporty) and gets me faster from one assignment to another.
I had to chose pragmatism over beauty, although my DD setup is still looking sharp.
This video just helped me pick between 18s n 19s, thanks for your wise words my friend!
I have those rims on my e43! @3:58
I daily drive my project car.
how do you know im from michigan sir
I’d just like you guys to review smaller car channels and find out what they can do better..
*cough..COUGH/COUGH...cough**#CoUgH*
Coilovers are a massive pain. These you can do at home in less than 2 hours with (probably) no special tools:
1. Cold Air Intake
2. Exhaust/Muffler
3. Sway Bars and Links
4. Strut Tower Brace
5. Big Brake Calipers/Rotors
6. Pitch Stop
7. Select Urethane Bushings
I highly recommend just upgrading as parts go bad. Need a filter? Get an Intake upgrade. Bushings wearing out? Get urethane. Need rotors? Get a big brake kit.
Gas, lunch box , and s real job
