I love all the points you brought out about worship. However, if God did not Give us the Privilege to worship Him where would we be. Since we are mere mortal humans. We could not love accept that He loved us first. We are wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked. How can we expect to worship such a Good God, except that He allows us to worship Him. Oh what joys we would miss out on if that was not given to us. Praise God for allowing us not only to love Him but to also worship Him.
This topic really takes me back to when Christ said these people worship me with their lips but their hearts are far from me. To only give God lip service is to worship in vain.

If we are to store up our treasures in heaven with the mind of Christ, we must treasure the things that Jesus does, who gave Himself for us. We should endeavor to store up our brethren who God treasures in heaven. Acts 26:18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in Me. The book of Proverbs is littered with what worshipping in spirit and truth is. Proverbs 2:1-5 My son, if thou wilt receive My words, and hide My commandments with thee; So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thy heart to understanding; Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; Then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God. If we see signs that we are even at the doors, then too should we know that the time to pull some out of the fire is very short.(Ezek 3:26, Dan 12:7, Rev 13:17, Prov 23:23, Prov 11:26)
