A mention about Paul and his prison Epistles of Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians and Philemon, that were some of the most liberating concepts imaginable. Ephesians is famous for its spiritual warfare passage, but what exactly did Paul picture as the greatest of all battles? Philippians is a letter of instruction, providing models to follow. In it we will find Paul, Jesus, Timothy and Epaphroditus offered as those whom we should seek to copy. Colossians is an enigma one needs to play detective trying to recover the clues of what Paul was likely confronting. Finally, Philemon is gigantic in its implications contrary to its miniature word length. Time spent with these letters will be richly rewarded and equip us for life in multiple dimensions; of spiritual, personal and corporate relationships confronted daily. Specifically, these four letters from captivity will release any of us from unconscious imprisoning ideas. Read my Macarthur study Bible everyday. It's an English Standard Version. Now I am also listening to Mr. Scourby read the King James Version and with the help of the Holy Spirit I can truly understand what is meant by the expression The Living Word of God. Thank you for your comments about adverts and we can understand where you’re coming from. Let me say the following: First, we have no control of the ads, RUclips controls ad placement in the videos, normally they are synergistic with the content, and they can be skipped after 5 seconds.
There is no business model in the world based on giving away goods and services. FREE programming is on TV, but ads appear to pay for that programing. If there are no ads, then a subscription fee is involved. We all pay monthly subscriptions, to NETFLIX, Amazon Prime, HBO, etc. for content. It takes time and money creating Channel content as well as maintaining the Channel, it’s not FREE. We wish we could play the Bible Recordings FREE on RUclips, however, the reality of life is that it takes money to do anything

Paying for God’s word is absolutely an obstacle for me at the moment.
“We all pay subscriptions” we do not all pay subscriptions bc some are not in a position to pay subscriptions.
Now i still appreciate the audio bible and I don’t mind watching the ads and skipping when need be. I was simply making an observation that there use to be no ads… that being said i think I would rather watch another audio bible channel that doesn’t attack its viewers for not having money and doesn’t even offer a prayer when they talk about an illness… Thanks

That’s how i took it and now that i reread it i stand by that it was a rude message. You can disagree all you would like though…

It is obvious to me that Mr. Scourby did not just come into a sound studio, open his Bible and start reading. Some time and preparation went into this. The correct pronunciation of some very difficult words found in the King James Bible is just one example of this. Mr. Scourby's King James Audio Bible is the best ever done (and 2nd place isn't even close).
