Miles is played by the same actor, who played Rose's date: in season 1, episode 3. when they went on a cruise, and Rose wasn't intimate with a man, since her husband died. also Rose, after asking Blanche, to go out with Miles: 'can you believe, that back stabbing s**t?' 😂
Harold Gould who plays Miles Webber is Rose’s long term boyfriend so you’ll see him in further episodes. Harold Gould also played Arthur Mendelson in Patch Adams (1998). “Look beyond the fingers! Now tell me how many you see.”
"I just don't know what you see in me?" "I see you" I wasnt expecting that line to make me tear up like it did. Today I had my very first court hearing for a disability case. I was hit by a car while crossing the street and the PTSD along with the physical ramifications has just hit so hard. I spent so many years with people telling me that my lived experiences weren't valid and that I didn't belong in spaces that a moment where Rose is struggling to know why someone wants to have her around when she feels so inferior and the response being as simple as "I see you" just really hits close to my heart. Rose is such a sweet, caring, and naive woman that I just want her to be happy, y'know? Future vision on the upload list lets me know you're mid way into season 7 so I know you already know Miles sticks around. Each of our girls before the beginning of the series were alone and heartbroken but they found each other and that found family is the core of why this show is as timeless as it is. My favorite comedy moments are "can you believe that back stabbing sl*t" and Sophia's "I've got the time if you've got the dime." I've actually used the Sophia line in a teasing manner when someone asks me to do something with them. And, again, thank you so much for continuing this upload series and making such a warm, loving corner of the internet ❤
I'm so sorry for what you are going through. For what it's worth, I see you! I had my own ordeal with PTSD, depression and anxiety ( and physical pain) after my car accident in 2020. It took over 6 months for doctors to believe I was in mental distress, despite me telling them over and over - and it took another 18 months on disability to get back to the real me. Although I didn't understand why the journey had to be so hard, it made me more empathetic to other people's journeys and struggles, and more vocal about my own needs. Know that you are not alone, your lived experiences are your own and no one can tell you they aren't valid or yours. If they do, send them my way! I got you! 😉❤️ Thank you for your continued support 💛
@@riverike0 A lot of people do but many - myself included - are a little more meh; some of its less tied to him as a character and more to some of the convoluted storylines that he tended to get involved in
Alexxa this reaction was great, as always. 💯 Please tell me you are gonna watch The Golden Palace when you finish The Golden Girls! I’m excited to see you react to that series as well even though it’s only 1 season. It’s on Hulu, at least in the U.S. but I’m sure it’s available other places too.
I’m furious they made him a cheater in Golden Palace… actually they kinda gridded down his Character -Kissing Dorothy during the Full Moon -Witness Protection Program

"You just march to a different drummer."
"Yeah the little wind-up monkey banging on the snare."
That's exactly how my wife describes herself. ❤
"What? I was agreeing with you" always gets me.
Glenn Miller was never found.
RIP
Rose IQ might not be the highest but her EQ Emotional Quotient certainly is. She is such a kind sweetheart ❤️
She might not be the most intelligent but she has a great deal of wisdom. That matters more.
I’ve watched for years and love Miles.
Awesome reaction as always. ❤❤😂😂
I just loved your reaction to the guy cleaning his ears with his keys. XD

This was the beginning of Dorothy's "bad hair day" period.

Miles is what I think TV Tropes would refer to as a Base Breaking character. I guess I'll just put a pin on that for now LOL
what! I thought everyone loved Miles 😢 lmao 😅
