@Trenton Turner I really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and im in the hacking process now. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Lol gotta love David what a stand up guy. I’ve had the pleasure over the last few months of having some fantastic conversations with him. I’m a nobody in the fishing world and I hit him up out of the blue about some spybaiting questions I had and was just blown away by the time and attention he paid me. Great guy.
*It's great caught caught a brown trout on the first cast. **enjoyable.fishing** recommend if it was a little smaller it would be more effective for different species*
Beautiful bait - I thought it looked much more impressive in the shots from the boat. Incredibly wide glide. I had asked you about this bait in another comments section, evidently you were already on it! Glad you got one, and thank you for the video.
I can get skunked on my $6 swim bait thank you very much. Just kidding; enjoyed seeing such an insane swim bait... That thing is beautiful. Thanks for posting.
I found you through Marling and I am glad I did. Definitely a beautiful bait and I would love to have one of those for my channel but I am no where ready for something like that. I hope your able to catch a fish on it some day.
Also found you through Marling Baits! Good stuff! You and Marling should seriously meet up and compare the baits 😱 imagine how sick that would be?! Then you guys could do bonus fishing!! It would break RUclips haha
Not to say I agree with the price tag (that’s neither here nor there) but look at the quality of that lure. It looks beautiful. I’m glad you were one of the people to get the first batch. You’ve always appreciated these higher priced baits. Good luck with it my man and throw it on some piano wire as caution 😂.
@@joshr7505 I bet it costs more than that if you factor in the fact that it is hand carved. I guess the guys time and carving skill is not worth anything to you. I don't know about you but I don't work for free.
Nice Video, interesting content. I agree with Keylay, what are you trying to catch Bears, Mountain Lions or Sasquatch? Geoff, you REALLY just won me over by simply saying...It's Probably Not Practical but cool to own! I do see an application in Big Deep Waters like The Great Lakes (Trolling). I am a Nebraska Fisherman and we have some Toothy Large Creatures that would love to Bite that thing. Won't be pretty for long though. Personally, I would add weight strips to bottom so that it dove a little. Kind of big for Top Water, asking a lot of the fish to come get it.
Hey Man, just came on to your channel. Just moved to San Diego and this lake, I won’t mention it, was the first lake I fished when I moved here! Hope to collaborate with you sometime! I’ve never thrown a swim bait though, I’m from Florida!
Brother That Is Sick!!! I personally will never own one at 950 but like you would have to fish it the dobyns ultra mag 908 will do it throws up to 30oz absolutely beautiful bait lucky to have Great Video!!! Cheers!! :))
I'm curious as to what you think of it now being a year later. Have you fished it more, have you caught any on it, or did you retire it? That's probably the only bait that I would not throw since it is Number 1.
just liked and subscribed. hang that lure on the wall as trophy bait.. just started up fishing here in Humboldt county ca. that would be a good ocean bait for sure. probably catch a monster.
Very nice pick up! I hope you change your mind and use it to identify your success at it rather than just let it be admired in the beautiful box! Either way, I'm happy to have seen it and very happy for you whether it is thrown or not!
bobfishnut It’s gonna get fished most likely, just gotta figure out when the best time to throw it is gonna be. Catching a fish on it would be sooooo dope!
Nice job having the guts to fish it...Can you imagine how hard a replacement tail would be to find if you lost it? I wish RM would put some type of pin thru the tail that would help them stay on better. I've lost a few on Negotiators.
1.my boat and trailer didn't cost that much. 2. my electronics cost more than that bait- by $20 3.cost more than both of my trolling motors I like it man! it's cool.
If you're looking for a rod to actually cast this without having to lob it check out the Shock and Awe rod from Esox Assault. It's a musky rod rated for up to 24oz lures I believe. Made for giant rubber musky lures.
You can borrow my 10 foot Ulua with Avet Raptor JX 50lb test to cast that beast! Lol! The bass were scared of that bait! Keep for a collection bait. Thank you for sharing.
I could believe that you would fish with that bait even though it’s too beautiful. Are you planning to put quads on it? Actually that is a work of art deserving a beautiful wall mount. Anyway enjoy it because it is truly a work of art.
Dude I don’t want to sound like a newb, but please send help. Wanted to get into small swimbaits. Bought a 7’ HF St Croix rated up 1.5oz. Cast my first few baits I bought at 1oz. Realized it was really too short to get a reasonable cast. Immediately picked up a 8’ Phenix M1 MH swimbait road rated 1/2oz to 3oz, and still fighting the same issue... About 70% my cast result in the bait helicoptering through the air. Read on the underground that direct tying could fix it. It only minimally helped. Can we please get a video on casting that explains how to prevent the helicopter.
Sick....that things huge. Just curious of your opinion on the Deps code name bass. It's definitely not as big as that. More like the original mother's size and weight. I have no idea how it swims but looks so real. I don't hear or see much about it.
ZeroHero The code name is a dope bait, the problem is, giant baits that are 12” and up aren’t fished that much by guys. Most people max out at the 10” size baits. It takes a lot of commitment to throwing giant baits so most guys shy away. That’s why no one talks about the mother or code name that much.
@@crazybassfisher you make some good points. I would love to try it at least once but probably wouldn't want to pull the trigger on a bait that's not cheap and not that practical.
What are you trying to catch? Bears?

Found you through Marling Baits. Glad I found this Chanel I have enjoyed watching your stuff.
Thanks for coming by and watching the videos! 🙏
Same
Same same!
Same
Dope video but absurd content
For a lure that costs almost a grand, I was expecting it to have better action than that
Yeah, it kinda swims like a twitching turd
WAYYY BETTER ACTION lol. I was thoroughly disappointed watching the underwater footage.
part of that is from how the owner is swimming it.... watch guys from Japan who use the bait and they know how to use it.
@Tsunauticus III i dont know about the swimbaits, i never fish bass but that is some bull shit bait for that price.
Look at marking baits lure
A lure that expensive should magically create fish.
This lure costs more than all my gear combined lol
Same 😂
Shit I think so too
Heck, it costs more than my boat
My gear is: rod - 8 $
braid - 20 $
reel - 80 $
S-Waver 12 cm -13 $
You pay that much for a bait, and they give you a cardboard box not real wood?!?
I would be scared to even cast it
so you've decided to go goliath grouper fishing now?
I'd be scared to fish with that. I can see it snapping off on my first cast
So pumped you forget to release your reel!!
Hahahahah yeah I be nervous as all get out
Don’t buy anything you’re scared to lose. You have to go in with the mindset that you’re ok with losing lures because it will happen.
You should totally do a giveaway for this bait🤣
Dude, you seem like such a giver! The world needs more people like you!
🤣🤣 that might have to be a thing I do in the future with this thing
crazybassfisher no way dude buy another one and sell it but you have literally the first one made man
Come fish it here in lake tahoe, theres huge lake trout (up to 38 lbs) that would definitely hit that! Most of our rainbows are around 15-25 inches
Imagine throwing that and an eagle spots it and tries to eat it for dinner. 😂
That would be an oddly fun fight
"What line strength are you using?" "...Eagle"
already happens with the smaller swimbaits
And that why I use eagle claw hooks
Dang, that is crazy I could not imagine casting that thing. Your passion for what you do is authentic and inspiring.
The finish on that swimbait is amazing! The colors are so vibrant!
I can make a handcrafted lure even more expensive.Anybody want one?
Do you accept handcrafted dollar bills?
