- In this video I mount some new wheels for the BMW E60 diesel !
After I lowered it with coilovers I wanted to get some new wheels for it. I`m really happy with how it came out :)

This is my 2004 BMW E60 525d manual sedan with the mighty M57 engine!
I`m super excited to start tunning this thing and getting it faster!

A set of 19inch spiders that came with the msport e60. And also add the msport side skirts and front/back bumper
It dosen't look bad :) defintely better than before. About your future plans ther is one rule, you can"t delete catalytic converter and save dpf, but you can do it inversely, under one condition must delete in ECU process of burning dpf filter. I suggest cut off rear muffler and do egr off by the way dpf off in ECU. After this operrations sound will a bit better. Offcourse the best sound will be on fully stright pipe but it makes no sense if you don 't want tune up engine. My personally advice for you, check and delete swirl flaps in intake manifold because its generally problem in m57 engine. Sorry for my sh**ity english my regards.
I'd say deff get some spacers for it. Otherwise looks great
Yeah I agree actually, kind of suprised that ET20 is not enough, but they are probably only 8x18 and that`s why, 10x18 ET20 would probably be very good fit.
@@FahreFilms from my personal experience et10-15 with 10j lines up with the arch in the back, and 9j et6-10 is perfect for the front. so you need 2.5cm spacers in the rear and 1.5cm in the front 😉
The headlights are screaming to be fixed 😂

Decent wheels if I didn’t have msport wheels I would chose them. Have them powder coated gloss black will suit the deep sea blue colour like mine .

i would do the Rear bumper at the same time, either Mtech or m5 rear bumper, as long as u dont use any M badges / colors u should be good
I've only removed the dpf on my e60 and it sounds pretty cool, really lowkey tho.
So i would say dpf first then downpipe :)
planning it the same way just need the money to do it xd
I would add just some small distancers.

I have the exact same set of replica wheels, you atleast got that indentation for the M logo but I don't even have that, also as 18".

Get the DPF out. My friend's diesel Renault had the DPF removed, and got a really nice sound. But if you want that deep sporty diesel sound with the "flutter", or rather "deap breath" sound, you should completely straight-pipe the car. But the car is cool 🤘

I got the same car, 525d 2005 M paket original. I have it with stage 1 for about 4 years, 215hp is a totally different car. You have to try it!!!!!
Remap it, it will surprise you :)
Mines 197 would it go to 275?
@@eddy45686 Not with stage 1 because there is a difference between 525d 3.0 197 and 530d 231 which can reach about 260-280 with stage 1
@@ln5185 what’s best for stage 1. About 250 from 197? What is stage1? Is it tune or downpipes as well?
@@eddy45686 Software remap is stage 1. With EGR and DPF delete (also can be done with downpipe) it will be stage1+. But this stages are not strictly defined

+ plus put the ac schnitzer front lip on it
Yeah agree! Have you tried EGR delete yourself ? Does the engine heat up slower when it`s deleted? Driving in the cold I want a hot engine fast :)
@@FahreFilms i drive a 520d with the n47 and i have an egr delete with a remap stage 1
If you just delete the egr the engine will take a while to warm up but if you make a remap it will be like stock so no Difference
You just need do decode the egr so it we be all the time closed or you can delete it complete but you need to decode it again because you will fault code check engine etc..
In my opinion just decode the egr and put a remap on it
@@isomh3599 and delete it, because swearl flaps are going to leak on top of the glow plugs, + you have egr thermostat which is working for no reason, so yes, better to do both, delete and remap

I think youve put the rears in the front. The front wheels look a bit wider thant the rears
Just keep upgrading your BMW E60 525d but you could put the rear bumper nicer and have 4 exhausts instead of 2 😁 Keep going
No 4 tips is not nice looking on the e60, only M5 it suits.

Hey 👋 there are original led licensplate lights that are LED and fit the E60 and they look very good cause they are not to bright as all the Chinese are 😊
