House of Black could be the future of the tag/trios division. Hell, even if the trios titles aren't brought in, King and Matthews could go for the tag titles and Black could go for the world championship

Having Buddy in HoB gives the team that needed ‘flair’ his move set is always so fluid!
Also way later down the track we can have him turn or get kicked out the HoB and that would set up awesome feuds and matches.

The move originated in Japan with Shuji Kondo, who called it "Whale Hunt". Matthews does the move as a tribute to how influential Japanese wrestling is to his style.

I like how they are building House Of Black, as Brody King said in an interview recently, it reminds him that the stable has an aura very similar to that of the Ministry Of Darkness, I really like this stable.

That final sequence of Matthews catching fuego with a knee, stereo drives from King and Black and then Buddy's finish was a chef's kiss finish.

@@rambonambo3510 put up a fight? Bear country landed 1 knee and 2 punches the entire match, Fuego hit a few weak strikes and the missile drop kick at the end, but nobody left their feet and did no damage 😂. That is a squash in my book.

The chemistry between King, Black, and Murphy is insane
1. The use of black metal to get over the tone and feeling of not only Malakai but the whole house of black is great. It's a relatively small sub genre, but it's a very haunting and sometimes disturbing sub genre
2. That finish was just perfect. The timing was perfect, they had the crowd in the palm of their hand
3. Shout out to the dudes who lost, made the house of black look incredible out there

Fuego is such a great young talent. He wore the lucha mask in this match but he was the guy HOOK dominated the other week.

That was one of the best finishes to a match that I've seen on AEW!!! I knew the HOB would win but like that?!! That was intense man! I love how Fuego ALMOST had a chance to pull things off by himself and then the HOB returned to seal the deal! I loved this match! 🖤🖤🖤

the precision of that ending deserves an award .... superb performance by all 3 ... whether in a fight against one another, or on the same team, Tom Budgeon and Matthew Adams belong together in pro wrestling .... incredible chemistry as performers

If they wanted to make a big faction out of The House of Black, either Butcher and Blade or Pac and Penta would be awesome additions. Penta and blind Pac would look great in the group as a whole; but I really think Butcher and Blade would fit in perfectly and would get a much deserved push from being in the group.
