    This is a excellent airbrush, great build quality, and as far as airbrushes go only the cheapest Chinese no name ones are cheaper. Unless you are a seasoned pro and need a airbrush that can deliver the absolute finest detail, the Neo will probably be as good if not better choice for most, particularly model makers.

    Eight years ago I would have recommended this airbrush, no questions asked for a beginner, as they are considerably made better than a cheap Chinese airbrush. But in today's market you can get something much better for only about 25-30 dollars more.

      I agree. I bought 8 airbrushes 12y ago. have them connecteted to a Matabo compressor in the next room like an octopus. So I can have more colurs at once. I would say any new china airbrush just bit upscale like 20$ will be a great choice. get 2 you will se why. and forget the tiny compressor go to the hardwarestor and get a cheap one any will do.

    Own 3 different air brushes, set up for models airplane and cars. This air brush works very well. With 3.5 mm nozzle it is main air brush for me. Other two economy brushes set up for 5mm and 2mm for those jobs.

    Great little review thanks, and since I’m weighing up an entry level big-name airbrush versus a cheap knock-off, it was exactly what I wanted. Please don’t be afraid to give us your opinions as a relatively new airbrush artist - that’s interesting and worthwhile, and we’ll be equally interested in your evolving opinions as your experience grows.

      I'm very impressed with it... Now I have more control I like the fact that you can control the flow.. Took a bit of practice but it cane naturally. Cleaning is easy and ive not needed to replace the needle as yet... Very pleased with it 👍

    So it's been a year, how do you like your NEO now? I bought my very first airbrush 2 weeks ago and it is a Timbertech lol. but I was thinking why didn't I spend a bit more and buy this neo? of course after watching your video I'm not sure I would notice a huge difference between Neo and Timbertech either just like how you felt when you first made this video, that's why I'm asking you not if the neo is a good tool but if the Timbertech is more or less comparable.

    • @greedy3d480
      @greedy3d480  7 месяцев назад +1

      Hi yes I did kind of notice a difference when I started using the neo it did seem to put thicker layers of paint on and I seem to have more control over the layers and depth of paint unfortunately during the cleaning process I'd broke the neo I think it was my own fault for being a little bit too heavy-handed so I've reverted back to a galera airbrush now which we've got to say is really really nice

      @@greedy3d480 Thank you for your reply, it's too bad about the damage to your Neo, there are so many choices for a decent airbrush gun that overwhelms a newbie like me . , that brand you mentioned (Galeri) in Canada I think is called Gahhleri and has some good reviews, I'll have to do more research on it, thanks again and good luck.

    I ordered one of the Timbertech sets with the .3, .5, and .8 needles, had to send it back due to it blowing air back through the cup. They sent a replacement, same thing...so I returned it and ordered a different model, it wouldn't spray anything at all...even pure water. Returned it, they look decent but pure junk in my experience....I won't ever order another Timbertech product.

    • @greedy3d480
      @greedy3d480  Месяц назад

      I guess it's down to personal opinion but I've had no problems with their air brushes

    • @TheWingnut58
      @TheWingnut58 Месяц назад

      @@greedy3d480 I've watched several videos where people had great experiences with them, but my experience was about 3 weeks of frustration when it was "all said and done".
      Glad you and others have had good luck with them, but luck is the key word here...their quality control is piss poor at best as evidenced by my getting two bad ones in a row. It also appears that others had similar issues.
      Maybe it was just a "bad batch"?....I dunno, but for just a few dollars more I'd go with something known to be better....spend the money and buy once, cry once.
