Her cats were constantly bringing grandma birds they would catch. We questioned if grandma threw the birds in her concoction. No, she didn’t go that far. But, they did make it to the compost pile outside. Lol. Bless her. Grandma passed 3 months shy of her 100th birthday. We (as in us women in the family) all took shifts to care for her in her own house and that’s where she passed peacefully. I miss her like crazy. She was one of a kind. I have hours of stories I could tell. She was a firecracker. She would burn rubber leaving church on Sunday’s just because she knew it made her grandchildren laugh!!! RIP grandma. Mama and Josh, Here's a very simple recipe that you both can make and it's very delicious. Get you a jar of the Greek salad dressing that has the feta cheese in it. Get you the McCormick kickin Chicken seasoning. Get you some chicken with the skin on it and please make sure you wash your chicken before you do this mama please don't use it right out of the package that's very unhealthy. Take 2 tbsp of the kickin Chicken seasoning and add it to the bottle of the Greek salad dressing with a feta. Shake It up very well. Get you a Ziploc bag a large one out all depends on how many pieces of chicken you're going to use. Put your clean chicken into the bag and pour half of the bottle into the bag and get it all over the chicken and let it marinate for at least 8 to 12 hours. Make sure you put the bag into a container and put it in the refrigerator so it can marinate. Preheat your oven at 3:25 to 3:50. It all depends on how your temperature gets hot you know your stove better than anyone. Get your baking dish that's a little deep put some parchment paper in it. Take the chicken and lay it out on the parchment paper. do not tap the access drippings off you're going to use it. Any small bowl add a little bit of the Greek salad dressing what's the status that has all the seasoning in it. Pour just a little over the chicken. Cook your chicken 35 minutes to 40 minutes. Then take it out. Pour the excess juice off of it. Then baste your chicken with some more of the Greek salad dressing with the feta and the seasonings in it. Then put it back into the oven for another 15 minutes to 20 minutes. Keep an eye on your chicken cuz you know your oven best. It would be the best baked chicken that you ever had and if you want a little bit more taste add a little bit more of this dressing to the chicken just drizzle some over it. I hope you truly enjoy it. I made it today and it's so good. This is my own recipe. Mama please don't use ketchup or mayonnaise in this recipe you will turn around and destroy it. Just use what I told you to use.❤ ❤
Please don't microwave with Styrofoam nor cook with non- food grade heat safe plastic (BPA free). Heat releases any BPA in plastic into the food. You can safely cook in food grade silicone, though.
