This is staggering to me. I watch you paint each brush stroke and they just look like smudges of paint until you move to another section add I glance back at the last part and say to myself "Ah, that's what he was painting". It's almost magical.

A heron fishing on the waters edge would have really finished the painting off. I am starting to save up for one of Micheals paintings. It might take a little while though.
You should have an option to purchase your reference photos from an archive of photos you’ve taken. I can’t find a photo with a clear rover showing the rocks beneath the water like that ANYWHERE I’ve I’ve looked through thousands of the free online photos
Hopefully i will be as good as this! Ive been drawing and painting my whole life (im 21) but still not close to this, this is literally amazing, how long did you do over getting this good? I will cry if you would say something like 7 years... Haha
Something that I won't understand is why some modern paints that's basically randomly brushed (personal opinion) are more recognised than this kind of painting, there's no way to say: "easy painting, anyone can do this..."
