I remember watching Lawrence Wong during covid and dealing with all the pressures of taking care of the Nation (health) and doing the right thing. I loved him then. Now so proud that he has become PM and listening to him speak again, I think he's just such a great guy. So humble, very well balanced. Us young Singaporeans just don't know how good we've got it compared to so many other countries. I hope he continues on as PM and continues to take care of Singapore.
Thanks for organizing this and thank you PM Wong for being so relatable. You are a breath of fresh air please continue what you are doing and don’t ever let the job change who you are. You have my vote.
I got goosebumps on PM Wong’s prologue and I can totally see John feeling emotional Thanks for the taking the time PM and well done to the TDK team! 👏👏👏
This is the only PM that I feel has a feel for the ground and has come from where 80% of Singaporeans are from. Thank u sir for taking the time and putting in D effort to hear what’s happening on d ground and adding a breath of fresh air to the ruling party!
He as a prime minister is so humble and straight forward wish him the best of success in whatever he do. Singaporean do like him as he is so kind and helpful May God keeps him safely always.
One of LW’s strengths is his ability to communicate. I think thats very important especially as a PM. U need to be able to relay your messages in an effective way and he can deliver in such a way that everyone can understand. Even as a PM, he seems very chill and laidback as well.
Thank you for having my "偶像"PM Wong to speak at such a humble level! TDK真的很行!Proud of you guys! Sir, my full support is always there for you and your team...
Hi! I have 3 comments to make after watching your podcast: 1) PM Wong come across as very approachable, down-to-earth & sincere. 2) His can-overcome-any-challenge attitude help reassure Singaporeans that we are in good hands. 3) I come away with the feeling that Singapore will be able to prosper beyond 3 generations...
The Daily Ketchup Podcast outdone yourselves! This was such a nice episode, with good conversations and questions. Of course, the fact that you all actually got PM Wong to be on the show. Truly enjoyed this episode.. Kudos to TDK! 🎉🎉
another amazing milestone and achievement for the podcast to host PM Wong, goes to show the influence you all have and how far y’all have come in this journey!! surprised that he is also an INFJ like me john always just smiling whenever PM Wong is talking hahaha
Wow, you guys really represented us. Gave him a well deserved standing ovation at the start, top notch questions that were probably made also cus you know you would get top notch answers from him. 45 mins of pure quality. Standing ovation. Gives me hope that we have really really good people in Singapore who can communicate well and handle the climate of the world today.
Thank for organsing this, allowing us to hear a down to earth & flank exchanges. Giving us the opportunity to our prime minister better as a person & singaporean.
I would love to see President Tharman and SM Loong on the podcast. Someone asked why and I think I just enjoy hearing them speak. Very eloquent yet very careful with their choice of words.
Honestly, I've never been so impressed and I'm now even prouder to be a Singaporean. Thank you guys from bringing him on the show, him saying that only ever sung 1 national anthem, that really hit home for me.
great episode, PM really spoke well and delivered both more casual answers and serious ones well. amazing interview from the casts as well. Can really feel how likeable as a person the PM is from the casts the expressions. really has that relatability and even in this setting he also gave answeres that left us speechless and that foreword really hit home.
PM certainly has good public speaking skill that is honed along his journey. Clear thoughts and articulation. Sensible answers for questions, especially the advice for chasing musical dream. Look forward to him leading our nation to a greater height... First time seeing this channel, not sure whats the usual settings, but i felt the casual discussion period is too long, and not enough difficult questions have been asked... but keep up the good works 💪 😊
Wow Alison dressed up for this podcast. Very nice! Thank you for the podcast. Got to know PM better and understood Singapore's future direction and what one must do to be relevant. Also, his take on being successful for your passion is very very valuable advice for those going this route for your career.
He's impressive. I've nvr been a fan of the PAP, and still dislike some of the old guard who sometimes come across as dismissive, arrogant and out of touch. Lawrence doesn't come across like that at all. Plus he can communicate complex things in layman terms in a natural way. How he'll perform as PM, we'll see in time. But as a person and a communicator ... looking solid. 🙏
First time hearing PM on a podcast, what a great sharing of his insights and thought process. Very good. Do arrange to have more political leaders share pls...
Actually I think they should do a podcast with the leader of opposition - it would be really good to see what they think and what they see their role is at this current stage. Gives a balanced view of governance in SG
Much love to our PM. May God continue to grant him and his team the wisdom and vision to lead our nation forward. Singapore's 4th 坡岛总舵主 - Huat ah! 🇸🇬! (Now that I’ve proudly identified myself as a PAP supporter, I hope we can address the growing concerns about the influx of CECAs in our IT workforce. In my previous workplace, many seemed underproductive, and it’s left me wondering why they’re here. Pretty please, guys?)
Respect for opinions from others who think vastly differently and sometimes seemingly opposite to your thinking. Being a diverse society means there will always be multiple differences in many areas. Diversity itself is a double-edged sword. It can tear us apart or open up opportunities for better understanding. To come to an agreeable consensus for things to move forward and not lock yourself into an immovable position to attempt to gain maximum advantage. I think these are the 2 things which we all need to have to move our society forward and make it a society we can all be proud of and be proud to be part of.
Love this episode! Love our pm as well. So well spoken. Also love to know how many bodyguards were there? What were the questions that was rejected? Hahaha do a bts!
This was good and kudos for bringing the PM on. I did feel that there wasn’t really a need to kept emphasising the “sian ness” of PM’s job though. If I were him I hear will also be demoralised LOL. I suppose it’s something that he already embraced by agreeing to take on the role. And to hear young people like yourselves (and myself behind the screen) cheering him on, that’s probably already heartening for him
Singapore as a whole has been prospering no doubt. Older generations slogged and worked hard so that we can be better. But in the perspective of individuals and family making are we really doing well or getting better? Even though they slogged, you just need 1 breadwinner in their generation. Nowadays a working couple is struggling with family and career. Older generations are "depending" on our generation for retirement because of the 养儿防老 mindset. Our generation seems to be worse off in terms of individuality
ppl like to call singapore a dictatorship what not...but i see it as a perfect democracy 1-it is a democracy, its not a monarchy, with next ruler being the son, and the royal family being above the law 2-political parties are mature, they have proper leadership, unlike dynastic political parties of southasia, the result of dynasty is, criticising the family member of party founder is seen as criticism of party, like the family members cant be expelled so laws will be broken for family members. 3-generally most politicans of s'pore seem very goal driven and dont seem financially corrupt, and their goals, dont seem personal ambitions, rather ideological. 4-the fact that majority of s'poreans, the current generation are educated (thanks to LKY's policies), it ensures their decision of voting shall be based on facts/research/logic and not "wearing mask is ....some conspiracy theory" So they wont elect some clown like the ideocracy movie
Do you share the same MBTI as Singapore's prime minister?
No ah im ENTJ than INFJ.
i am INFJ too lol.
I do! INFJ advocate!
I do! INFJ as well.
I'm an I/ENTJ. almost similar
ngl, never in my life will i be able to imagine seeing my PM on a podcast lol
We also didn’t imagine bro 🥹
PM Wong is a likeable person. He always looks sincere.

Looking at the state of the world that we're in (and their leaders), I am just so damn grateful to be a Singaporean. Truly.

PM Wong is very genuine and well-spoken. This is how leaders should speak. Calm, composed and talk facts.
Thank you PM Wong for serving and protecting Singapore and it's citizen. We are grateful. Wishing you good health always.

This is cool! I love following Singapore - from Dallas, Texas USA
Hello from Singapore!

im amazed at how he has make time for this podcast.
But this is quite entertaining.
Well it's just 45minutes, shorter than a lunch break, and I think PM Wong has managed to reach out to many Singaporeans using just 45minutes. Worth.
@@noproblematallmate, 45 mins is edited. Bet the recording was longer
