My buddy celebrated Charlie by firing up his propane grill and having the whole neighborhood bring food to cook. They knew they were going to be out of electricity for at least a few days, so they had a big hurricane party feast instead of slowly watching all the refrigerated food go bad.
As long as the propane held out, they cut the extra beef into strips and made jerky.

Florida native here and even I had to learn about the flamingos and upside down pineapple the hard way after moving into a trailer park. I have the same lost look myself. I've seen things no man should have to see.

Hey Wicks thanks for making me smile today. Please all you good people from Florida send some love up to us in Maryland we're reeling hurting we grieving for the people that lost their lives when the bridge went down. Thank God it wasn't in rush hour but it's going to devastate so many people it might be years to replace the bridge and fyi the bridge crashed into the Patapsco river blocking the port of Baltimore and it was a major interstate bridge send us some love we really need it 😢

@@Larry-dt7kz yeah could have been much worse imagine if it had happened at rush hour or even middle of the day and it's amazing that anyone who ended up in the water survived. It's probably going to take months and months to even clear the channel for safe shipping to the port and longer to rebuild the bridge it's going to have long term affects on thousands of people who in some way service that port plus commuters and supply chain it's a major east coast port

We have lots of black bears all over Florida.
One broke into someone's sunroom in a densely populated area in Daytona Beach last year.
And they're really good swimmers that sometimes cross the intracoastal and hang out near the beaches.

Also… as a person of a certain age who lives 30 minutes from The Villages and dyed my hair purple, I’ve have a few comments about what I’m signaling. 💜🤣
