At church last night, I had a full on conversation with him about his corn crop thanks to you guys!! I told him I watched your channel faithfully and I think he was excited that someone took the time to learn about what he does!! Daddy corn star, you are awesome. You guys are awesome!!
I just drove through southern Wisconsin and understood so much more about the readiness of the corn and beans being harvested because of your videos. Thank you.
Just thought you should know that my 4 year old boy (who is sick today) watched about 10 of your videos today. Thank you for sharing your tractors and farm life with him!
So much good information about farming and soy beans and machinery. Great job explaining everything. Love seeing the harvest come in. It's nice that you have family that farms and you can help each other out.
So then you went and dug a grave as well. Of course you did! You guys are killing me. You are so busy and resourceful. Always fixing things and working hard. Well done! Great video.
It's so nice to see your love of farming and hard work, Cole. You're family must be very proud of you, especially how you've worked to get your grandfather's house cleaned up and organized, as well as the farm. Too many people have no appreciation for independent farmers and just what an asset you are to our country... you guys are amazing!!
Well said Michel. What a blessing it is that they share with us. They do such great short videos too. Can you imagine if A&E did a show on this topic? They’d make it full of bleeps and folks whining about hard work. The corn stars clearly love the work and one another and no bleeping necessary.
: "Too many people have no appreciation for independent farmers and just what an asset you are to our country... you guys are amazing!! " Isn't that the truth. I feel a literal pain in the gut every time I see another farm closing up.
Glad to see you guys getting on the crops. Always great info going out to the world. Thank you for that it keeps us that miss farming and introducing those not exposed to farming updated and informed on what it really takes to run a modern day farm. 100% pure fun to watch. God bless and good luck during the entire harvest process. Bring on the corn!!!
I've been anxiously awaiting a combine-harvesting-in-the-field video. I grew up around farming spreads in central PA and I know it is a real nail-biter when harvest is delayed so close to frozen stuff coming from the sky. Stay safe and I hope the weather cooperates so you can get caught up. We'll all be cheering you on and jazzed to see footage of all those augers working in harmonious synchrony as the crop continues to come in.😁
Takes me back to the days, many years ago, working on my Grandfather’s farm in Indiana. Lots of hard work but what a great time we had! Farmers and those that work the soil, rock!
I’m a Kansan, but live in a city, but I am loving more about the Ag business from you. I just found your channel from your house clean out video. Ag is so important to the whole country but specifically the Kansas and Iowa economy.
Teamwork, teamwork, teamwork.....and LOTS of equipment make for a successful farm. Uh, oh, AND good weather at the right time, favorable market conditions, agri-business savvy, farming know-how, mechancial skills and a pinch of good luck. Love Harvest Time and seeing farmers in their fields. It's our heritage!❤️️👍👊
I started with the planting and now it's harvest time. I think I'm beginning to understand how it works. Have learned so much. I believe I took grain farming for granted. My personal feeling is that grain farming is harder than animal farming. Yes we work 365/7 but we don't have deadlines or equipment to break. Plus we r not weather dependent. Kudos to the whole family and how all of u make this farm successful.
So glad I clicked on your videos! I am hooked on watching your sweet family and it makes me smile every day. I hope you have a sweet christain girlfriend that has the same values in life. Tell Daddy and Mama Cornstar they raising some awesome kids!
Marie Norman here from Tennessee 115 subs..congratulations..still growing. Proud of you all! Im not a farmer, city girl.... you guys are awesome..hubby loves the show too.😇👍🤓💜
So happy to see a new video. I know you can’t make videos every day, but I look anyway. I have learned so much. The Cornstar family impresses me so much with their work ethic. I’d love to see an update on your house. It looks awesome when we get a glimpse.
It’s Cooooole The Cornstar!! My husband and I were driving by a harvested corn field the other day. It was a long drive and the silence was killing me. So out of the blue I shouted out, It’s Cooooole The Cornstar!! He started laughing and couldn’t stop. Needless to say It broke the silence. Lol We both love your videos and your family. Such a great family. Thanks so much for sharing your lives with us all! 🌽🌾
Stumbled across your channel by chance and enjoy watching how you are transitioning the farm ..enjoyed watching all the things you guys get up to..cheers from Australia 🇦🇺
I only stumbled across your channel the other week. Living in the city it's nice to relax and watch your video's, bringing nature somewhat back into my life. You also post stuff about things i've never heard of or seen before , so its very educational. Keep up the good work man! From Gold Coast, Australia :)
It’s time! It’s finally time for the beans! 🙌🏼 I’ve been worried about these beans for a couple weeks. I’m a city girl who has become very emotionally invested in these beans. Woo hoo, harvest time! 💃🏼
Thank Goodness " WE" are getting the beans in!! Lol. ( Like how I said " we"?) I feel like I am right there with you all. Cole and Daddy Cornstar explain things so well. Great job guys.!! I wish I was truly there to help. Thank you for another great video!!
I think you should give Mama Cornstar a short recipe section on each video or an advice blurb where she can give advice of how she deals with all she does . Maybe a whole video of a day in the life of the most important and influential Cornstar !
Thank You, Cole and Daddy Cornstar for a productive and informative video, you have been very busy, did not have time to stop to eat, take care, God Bless for a safe harvest, have a great week.
It’s amazing how many people who have never and will never farm anything love this content so much. I’ve only got a 1/2 acre - but I want a tractor now. 🤣
I'm sure you saw but Brian Brown also had an open door situation ,his wasn't first load though!! Thumb on the exhaust was pretty clever !!! Glad to see you could get beans in the bin with only ONE auger! My son and his father in law just got started on their harvest last few days too! Hope winter holds off for quite awhile !!!! Thanks for the video !!
Thanks for making me the armchair farmer I am today. Just by watchin you work, I got the idea of a rolling PitStop Van. All the tools, fuel, welder, spare parts and hardware in one place, and big enuf to pull a Grain Cart. The pull down cot from the wall would be a "must have" for me, while I wait for Dad to bring the PIZZA!
I don't have a particular interest in farming, ( though I do small-scale propogate perennial flowers for resale), but you make the videos fascinating! Can't look away.
It's been over 20 years since I've been around the eastern Washington farm scene, but back in the day, Gleaner combines were somewhat popular there. For those who don't know, Gleaner was originally Allis-Chalmers brand. I think they were up to the R series model in the late 1990's. Nobody that owned a Gleaner really complained about them too much. I know an older gentleman at the time that said the earlier C and G models were really good at getting optimum speed and almost zero grain loss out the back. The M models weren't quite as efficient. There was the MH, MH2 and MH3. (All Gleaners until the early 1990's had the letter H in the model designation for "hillside" because in Eastern Washington, automatic leveling systems were installed on combines due to steep hills farmed there. Levelers reduced grain loss because on a steep side hill, grain will bunch up on one side of the thrashing assembly and make it less efficient and a level assembly worked much better.) By the 1980's, when speed was more important than grain loss, many said the M models were the worst for grain loss and Gleaner got the nickname "silver seeder". That nickname usually came from other people than the owners, but the evidence was usually conclusive after harvest and the area got a good rain. From what I recall, the fields that were harvested by Gleaner M-series seemed to have the most seed sprouts due to grain left behind. But again, much of the grain loss could have been more due to improper adjustments and simply moving too fast. Most of the farmers that owned the M's were the big acre farmers who were in a hurry to get done and just didn't worry much about grain loss. That same gentleman I discussed earlier had an MH also and it did as well as any other combine of its time. But he cared about how fast he went and made sure things were adjusted right so grain loss was minimal.
I love your videos, though I have no idea why lol. I'm a city person from New Zealand, with zero interest in farming. I stumbled across your channel after watching the house cleaning one and I've been hooked ever since. The time lapse videos of you cleaning up are very satisfying. I really appreciate your work ethic.....and your corny jokes 😄
I thought this was an especially good video for some reason.....really real, like you guys were working outdoors, getting stuff done. hard to explain. when you pointed at the combine, Cole, and said it shouldn't be leaking beans there, and then daddy cornstar was lining up at the next pass with the reel running.... those moments were especially real to me. All your videos are good though....great in fact, and fun! Thank you to all of you! "takes a jerk to start it" was a new one to me! lol
Amazing the hard work you all do. People have no idea what the farmers do for us or the world. Thank you for sharing.
At church last night, I had a full on conversation with him about his corn crop thanks to you guys!! I told him I watched your channel faithfully and I think he was excited that someone took the time to learn about what he does!! Daddy corn star, you are awesome. You guys are awesome!!
The view of your cousins combine running with the sun setting behind was fantastic

Uncles always had farms, but learned more from your videos than anytime in my life. Thanks!!
Being a non farmer, appreciate the info on harvest rates, equipment capabilities etc. Have a great harvest, be safe.

Awesome to see your gettin your harvest on!!!🧡
I have always wanted to drive a combine. Total solitude. Just me and the beans. 😁
Those cameras are awesome!

Like seeing the company come out and see how things are going.
Gotta love daddy cornstar running te ‘caimbine’, what a boss
Eirik Sommervold I wondered if anyone else noticed he has difficulty pronouncing combine 😂.
Every time, I hear kine-bine. But he can run one and I can't, so he can call it whatever he wants. Hahahah!
I noticed that too and wondered if others did as well! I think it just adds to his fun, sweet personality! He’s unique that’s for sure!
@@corydriver7634 he also says powerwersher. 😏
Must be German...I've noticed for months, he calls it a "keimbein."
LOL!
My dad was a gleaner mechanic for years here in Ky. I miss him very much
15:13 Great cinema bean-tography.
I love how enthusiastic Cole and his dad are gotta love farming
I love all your videos very entertaining to say the least
Love the Gleaner in the background!
Cole i like the elmers glue and green sharpie in the toolbox so if it’s ever a bad day you can make crafts 😂😂

Glad you guys can get them in before snow flies 👍enjoyed this one
Love how the Detroit Oliver just purrs running the auger.
The Oliver is my favorite, I wish they still made them.
We have an old combine as our lawn mower like from the times when they had no cabs👌
My boyfriend runs the same make and model of combine and hearing that thing scream makes me so excited for this years season here in Ohio😍
AHHH the John Deer Combine looked nice working in the field Good job Cole and big Daddy

Great video, very informative.
You know what that is... that’s the best type of tractors and combines you can get.
