You are so bless working with your father please don’t take it for granted... when you are his age you’ll look back at these videos and cherish the memories
I really love the interaction between you and your dad, wish we had more of this today would really help our crazy sad situation that's going on now. God Bless your family. RLTW
Part is $185.00 Love the way your dad explains how to do things. You are always learning when you ask him questions. Love the videos and look forward to seeing all your harvest videos.
Reminds me of my teenage years, running a John Deere 95R at soy bean harvest. You sat right out in the open practically hanging over the pic kup reel, listening to the 6 cyl Chevy engine grinding away. Lol. Ask dad if he remembers.
I really enjoyed your video today. I have never lived in the country always have lived in the city of Rochester NY and worked in a warehouse or factory, I was in the military for five years use to enjoy talking to the guy's who grew up on the farm. Thanks for the video's I'll be watching. I don't do twitter or any other media just do Facebook and RUclips. okay bye for now.
Your dad is cool man he is a good teacher as you are a good student liesten well so you can teach your children i worked for my dad most of my life he was also like your dad
I'm a native of Highmore, SD, but haven't lived in SD since the 1970's. I have lived in North Dakota, and I can hear an accent when your dad talks, much like what I heard in North Dakota. I love watching your videos.
Great drone work. I love to see the overhead views. Good harvest! Keep masks handy! Inhaling that stuff is really bad for you. And it’s darn itchy!! I love watching you two together, fantasizing about food on the walk out for lunch cracked me up. Peace out 😆
$265. Parts are crazy expensive. Keep up the fine work. I am from a family farm (OH) a fraction of the size of yours ...Beef, grain and hay. Vivid memories of helping my father in the field and around the farm..Being the oldest of three girls I was the hired hand until I was about 14.
Something of the sort happened to a relative of mine some years ago. It was a Lexion 530 (I live in northern Italy, so the machinery isn't as big as yours). That year we had a BAD summer, the kind of bad where it rains so much you risk not being able to harvest some fields at all. There were just a few fields left but they were a bit too wet, but hey needed to be done. At some point, after turning around at the end of the field, my relative found out basically no straw was coming out of the back. Turned out the straw walkers were completely clogged, almost completely destroyed, and even after they fixed the combine, the frame still shook. Crazy one this one
$85.00. Dad needs to give you some Honkeytonk time. You’re getting a bit green around the edges, calms you down and makes less mistakes. Puts a big smile on your face. 👍🏻 😃
Hey just a quick tip for anyone running a rotary combine. If you plug..... USE A BATTERY OPERATED SAWSALL ...... the bean straw will be MUCH easier to pull out once you run a blade through it a couple times. Trust me..... youll thank me later
For the love of god man, I don't care if you trust the machine or not, if your hydraulics dont have a safety brace on it don't walk under something held up in the air by hydraulics. Would hate to have a "so he was crushed by the tractor bucket" post made.
Brand new, that harvester is price of a house in many cities! Kind of kooky JD can't rig up a bing bong.... probably be 150 decibels but a bing bong when this gets jammed.... throw it cost of the harvester. Glad you are going guns other wise.
My husband was thinking that was a bad plug. Not much fun when not wearing gloves. How about a fire?? Lucky?? Lots of dark fines. He's thinking newer units with more sensors would have been screaming. That's smart the "Roundball Jock" had the son look at tail end of combine. Those ole "Fast Break" boys have the touch.
Who cares man farmers talk to there selves all the time lol 😂 when someone answer is the problem six beeps ya tank full is what I used to go buy 👍👍👍 lol 😂 you just knocked down a volunteer lol 😂
I am five months later on guessing the part not sure how I missed this video but I did, you paid 159.00 for that part not sure what it’s called to be honest
America the beautiful! My Lord I love my country. South Dakota is prestinely beautiful too. I love the diversity of our country's landscape. I used to live in western SD (WAY different than this part). Now I'm back home in SE WI. It's always funny to me when I hear all the city people say driving through open farmland country like this is so boring and ugly. I strongly disagree. So awesome!
Colin, Richard hatfield here buddy, Melbourne Australia, love all the vids and dads jokes, guessing with money exchange that part about 362 US dollars.
Oh man. When I work on industrial sites, we are fanatical about isolating equipment. Disconnect power supply. Turn engines off. Never assume a lever won’t get bumped and turn something on. Double redundancy where possible. (Power off and switches padlocked our) that’s the standard for industrial safety. Hope I am mis reading what I think I saw. Otherwise, thanks for an awesome video.
Cole , "LIFE & FARM" are 4- letter words. Momma said "kid, dont be using them 4 letter words or you will get ur mouth washed out with soap & water" .🍁🇨🇦🍁
1:23 I think a good segment to go along with "song of the day" might be Brian's Tip of the Day... its also fun that the tag line could be "Just the Tip... of the day" Thats a T-shirt?
You and your dad make quite a pair. Always bring a smile to my face. Really like your channel.
I’m really beginning to believe I should have been a farmer! Y’all know and do so much for the rest of us!

Your combine was cropstipated.
Lol
Can't say I've ever heard of a combine being constipated.
Good work man...i really appreciate it ...im also farmer in india but our government never give this type facility...
Cole your dad is so laid back. Im guessing cause he loves to farm. And you too. Go Jacks!!😀
$85.00. Dad needs to give you some Honkeytonk time. You’re getting a bit green around the edges, calms you down and makes less mistakes. Puts a big smile on your face. 👍🏻 😃
Two grown men kneeling in a field counting beans 🤔 😂 classic
😅😅
Yes beans in comb.tank better than on ground.
Brian ! Cole !
In your operation, are soybeans used as feed for the cattle or do you send to market ?
they need processed to maximize utilization in cattle so they go to market.
10:33 that'd make a great pic for a calendar. Seeing the Johnny's in the field and dust rolling. That's it.. 💪🇺🇸👍
Use corn starch for chaffing. Best advice I was ever given
Hey just a quick tip for anyone running a rotary combine. If you plug..... USE A BATTERY OPERATED SAWSALL ...... the bean straw will be MUCH easier to pull out once you run a blade through it a couple times. Trust me..... youll thank me later

Oh my unplugging that combine made my eyes itch all the way in Ohio!
My guess for the part is “a dollar three eighty”. That’s my father’s way of saying “ none of your business “. Just a tip Cole.
Love your show. Best production of all farm production shows. I am related to the Veals in Bison SD. Keep up the great work.
Holding my breath when your hands are in that machine!
Brand new, that harvester is price of a house in many cities! Kind of kooky JD can't rig up a bing bong.... probably be 150 decibels but a bing bong when this gets jammed.... throw it cost of the harvester. Glad you are going guns other wise.
I could buy multiple houses for a JD X9 cost. Around 800k then buy the heads.
We have an old 1085 John deere combine and it has a sensor for that
My husband was thinking that was a bad plug.
What
If it's a John Deere part $175. Anywhere else $29
My guess for the part is “a dollar three eighty”. That’s my father’s way of saying “ none of your business “. Just a tip Cole.
Love the relationship you two have...
Bum buddies. Lol
Hello from Ukraine! Good video. We sow soybeans with a row spacing of 100 millimeters. and we get a harvest of 3 tons from one hectare

Back on my pal’s farm....there was always a F-up, but things still had ta get done. 👨🌾🚜
May be a dumb question but do you have auto steer in combine or do you just use the monitor to track what you have done
Never knew soya was so troublesome to harvest. Thanks for the insight.
Wow, thanks Brian! Getting a good education. Growing up on a dairy farm in the 50's, I don't know anything about what you guys do. Really good stuff!!
thanks john!
That totally sucked. You guys work hard. Thanks for bringing us along
That’s a nice grain cart
Do the wheels on the grain cart help to push the cart forward ?? If not , what is the benefit of lug type tractor tires on the grain cart ?
They do not drive. I would say for protection, just something the wear. I agree with you to a certain extent!
Cole , "LIFE & FARM" are 4- letter words. Momma said "kid, dont be using them 4 letter words or you will get ur mouth washed out with soap & water" .🍁🇨🇦🍁

Peanut butter miracle whip and valveta cheese sandwichs are really good.
Leave off the cheese
Been chopping corn. Always thought that was bad when it plugs. That combine was plugged lol
