That reminder of your Grandpa. He's proof that his ingenuity kept the farm running. He knew how to use what he had to keep things running. I loved that you guys found that. This day also showed us all that farming isn't just starting the engine and driving. It's a lot of work. Only thing I missed was Anna.
I'm in my 50s, from New England, Grandfather came from Sweden and was a farmer.... not near this level. I grew up on boats, but I truly enjoy watching this honest, hardworking, family/friend oriented young man. I am learning so much in these videos. I've always appreciated how hard our farmers work, but I had no idea what goes into running a big farm. Amazing.
All I got to say about y'all's frustrating day is..."Momma said there'll be days like this, there'll be days like this momma said" (The Shirelles). Never fails that one of these aggravating repair days happens when you have a VIP show up for a farm visit. Cole it's great to watch a young man who loves his chosen field of endeavor. I love that y'all are showing the world that farming is so much more than dirt and seed. Fixing stuff is our daily grind.
I love it, my kinda guy. I got an old Hilux truck from my dad when I was a kid, it was so badly rusted the door locks were broken because the pillars collapsed. That truck had never had anything opened or fixed by a mechanic, but I slapped garden latches on the doors.
Never fails when a project you think will take a half hour or so turns into an all day affair. Happens on our farm all the time. Keep them videos coming, really enjoy them.
I'm a 63 year old grandmother in England , I don't know how I came across Cole the Corn Star but i can't get enough of it, just love the attitude of the whole family .
It's amazing just how much time is spent in maintenance and upgrades to the equipment. This being the age of technology where things change constantly it's got to be difficult to keep up with on a farm. Impressive. Seems technology has improved grain/crop farming quite a bit. Always fun to watch and learn. Hello to the whole CS family and friends. A great bunch of people.
Aww.. Grandpa Cornstar sounds like a character, just like my Papaw was. Bless their hearts. Pete now has a tale to tell when traveling to other farms, lol. Glad Daddy Cornstar got to play with the Drome. :)
My husband of 30 years grew up on a small beef farm in WI. No we are not farming now, but I can tell you my husband has been the most hard working smart, helpful man I know . If my two daughters would come home from college with a farmer in hand , my husband would be elated. The hardest working people in our country along with our military.
1st get Cole the Corn star notification 2nd click on thumbs up 👍 3rd watch another great Corn star farm video 4th leave a sappy comment 5th tell the corn star production team I love them 😍 😂
For daddy cornstar. President John F. Kennedy once said, A farmer is the only person in business that pays retail for everything he buys, sells everything he produces at wholesale and pays shipping both ways. I am a 77 year old who enjoys all the antics on your program Cole.
I like how all the corn darlings..look out for each other and always seem to know what everyone is doing! And it's the cleanest farm I've every seen or heard tell of! I wondered at lunch today if the corn I was eating came from their field,maybe.. maybe not!👍🙋🕊️🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Daddy cornstar deserves a 10 out of 10 for that backup at first i thought he was a little far but after seeing the gate drop and the extention piece go out. His distance was only 2 inches away from the concrete and extremely even 10 out of 10.
I hope and wish they can ratify it, but I am certain the Dems will drag their feet, they won't give President Trump a win on anything. They don't care how it affects US citizens or the economy.
I’m all caught up! RUclips recommended your house cleaning up video maybe a month ago, and I ended up watching every single one of your videos. I enjoy them so much. I think because everyone in your family likes and respects each other (even when you tease each other it’s not mean teasing), and your parents are proud of all their kids, plus you so obviously love farming. It’s interesting too. I’m learning a lot. I grew up in Ohio farming country -we didn’t farm (parents were teachers) but the field behind us alternated soybeans, sugar beets, and corn. Now I’m in the suburbs of Albany NY. Nothing to do with farming. Still, I look forward to watching your videos at the end of a stressful day. Thanks so much for making and posting them!
Cole , you and Cooper are cool but daddy Cornstarch is my favorite . You have a beautiful farm . May God continue to bless you and your family with good health ,and better than expected harvests !
My kids LOVE your videos! Especially my 5 yr old. He's always asking if there's a new cole the cornstar to watch. Lol! My 20 month old gets all excited when he sees the big equipment. Keep 'em coming!!!!
As a city boy i appreciate how hard you work to feed the world. I am your fan. Maybe i could come to volunteer on your farm. Enjoy your time with your dad.
Hi Cole! For some reason, every time your videos start they make me smile. Then..... during and again at the end you have me smiling again. You're such a happy guy! Thank, you for making me smile :-) Love your whole family and your videos!
Loved your grandads house outlet fix on the combine. Sounds like something I would've done when I was still farming. Gotta make do with whatcha got. Cheers.....
All machines breakdown new and old keep on keeping on with the harvest. Our new combines breakdown periodically. Any brand of machines has it good points and bad ones the repairs are cheaper than a new machine. Stay safe and harvest on my friend keep giving your dad a hard time he is really awesome. We run agleader in all of our new johndeere machines along with greenstar. The agleader is great on older machines we love their GPS auto steer and variable rate systems for fertilizer and planting.
Mechanic trick for pulling an axle forward, use a comealong hooked to the frame of the truck back to the axle then keep wrenching away until it's where you want it. Works like a charm
When Daddy was operating the "drome", I was afraid he was going to crash it in the field. Then he would have probable "warshed " it in the "crick". I don't mean to make fun, where I'm from, you would think we had dogs living on the tops of all our houses (up on the "ruf"). We like when Friday comes because we know tomorrow is "Sayerdey".
Love love love the Grandpa Cornstar moment! ❤️ Cole, I have truly learned so much about farming from watching you! You explain things so well and I really appreciate that! Thank you!
You guys have me cracking up Pete did have a long hard day good to see you out rolling man daddy Korn star will be getting a drone soon that's for sure y'all stay safe and have a good one man 💪💪👊👊🤙🤙👍👍👍
Cole a rachet binder and chain would pull that forward. When you get your parts to fix it be sure to line it up. The best way I've found is to drop trl and take masurements from the 5th wheel pin. Great video keep it up

I have noticed a lot of 1 step forward and 2 steps back in farming, seems like nothing goes as planned. I guess that’s why they say patience is a virgin..... wait.....that’s not right? well, it’s something like that. Keep swinging guys and we will keep hitting the thumbs up and waiting for the next one......
That Cooper is right in there fixing things. Well I guess all you guys are mechanics. You are lucky to have friends and family come over and help. I would drive down and help but I am useless. I hope that you will be able to get all the corn in before the snow comes. It is always good to see you.
