Fixing The Combine... Again
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 6 фев 2025
- The ground was frosty so we were not able to start combining corn right away. This was not an issue at all due to the fact we had some work on the 1988 Freightliner's trailer. After running around to gather materials, we got the semi wrapped up and then Pete Youngblut (AgLeader guy) showed up to put new height control sensors on the corn head. Murphy's Law was in full effect and everything was giving us issues.
Bill Cran, the AgLeader Tech Specialist showed up to view how things were going. We also flew his drone around. Lets just say Dad is not an expert!
We finally got the combine fixed, calibrated, running, and then picked for a few hours.
Thank you for watching!

Never fails when a project you think will take a half hour or so turns into an all day affair. Happens on our farm all the time. Keep them videos coming, really enjoy them.
That reminder of your Grandpa. He's proof that his ingenuity kept the farm running. He knew how to use what he had to keep things running. I loved that you guys found that. This day also showed us all that farming isn't just starting the engine and driving. It's a lot of work. Only thing I missed was Anna.
I'm in my 50s, from New England, Grandfather came from Sweden and was a farmer.... not near this level. I grew up on boats, but I truly enjoy watching this honest, hardworking, family/friend oriented young man.
I am learning so much in these videos. I've always appreciated how hard our farmers work, but I had no idea what goes into running a big farm. Amazing.
I'm a 63 year old grandmother in England , I don't know how I came across Cole the Corn Star but i can't get enough of it, just love the attitude of the whole family .
All I got to say about y'all's frustrating day is..."Momma said there'll be days like this, there'll be days like this momma said" (The Shirelles). Never fails that one of these aggravating repair days happens when you have a VIP show up for a farm visit. Cole it's great to watch a young man who loves his chosen field of endeavor. I love that y'all are showing the world that farming is so much more than dirt and seed. Fixing stuff is our daily grind.
12:01 A precious reminder that Grandpa Cornstar is a part of you forever 💛
I love it, my kinda guy. I got an old Hilux truck from my dad when I was a kid, it was so badly rusted the door locks were broken because the pillars collapsed. That truck had never had anything opened or fixed by a mechanic, but I slapped garden latches on the doors.

Malan Cronje Hilux ... indestructible ❤️
Malan Cronje my dad runs all his vehicles as long as they’ll go. There’s usually coat hangers, bungee cords and duct tape involved. 😂😊.
Daddy cornstar deserves a 10 out of 10 for that backup at first i thought he was a little far but after seeing the gate drop and the extention piece go out. His distance was only 2 inches away from the concrete and extremely even 10 out of 10.
Cole I love the teaching aspect on your Channel. I am not a farmer but it is very interesting to me. Thank you
I'm an Iowa boy myself man. Grew up in Centerville on a farm of about 1,000 acres. I loved everyday.
As a city boy i appreciate how hard you work to feed the world. I am your fan. Maybe i could come to volunteer on your farm. Enjoy your time with your dad.
My husband of 30 years grew up on a small beef farm in WI. No we are not farming now, but I can tell you my husband has been the most hard working smart, helpful man I know . If my two daughters would come home from college with a farmer in hand , my husband would be elated. The hardest working people in our country along with our military.
Totally agree Kristen.
If you two daughters came home with a farmer your husband better get the shot gun because that farmer is looking to PLANT something. 😜😁😁
It's amazing just how much time is spent in maintenance and upgrades to the equipment. This being the age of technology where things change constantly it's got to be difficult to keep up with on a farm. Impressive. Seems technology has improved grain/crop farming quite a bit. Always fun to watch and learn. Hello to the whole CS family and friends. A great bunch of people.
Cole, thanks for your videos they make me feel like one family, not to get all sappy but it always something I look forward to thanks.
Aww.. Grandpa Cornstar sounds like a character, just like my Papaw was. Bless their hearts. Pete now has a tale to tell when traveling to other farms, lol. Glad Daddy Cornstar got to play with the Drome. :)
I had a really rough 2 days and listening to you say, "You're watching Cole the Cornstar" made me smile. It's electrifying! : )
I like how all the corn darlings..look out for each other and always seem to know what everyone is doing! And it's the cleanest farm I've every seen or heard tell of! I wondered at lunch today if the corn I was eating came from their field,maybe.. maybe not!👍🙋🕊️🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Cole , you and Cooper are cool but daddy Cornstarch is my favorite . You have a beautiful farm . May God continue to bless you and your family with good health ,and better than expected harvests !
Cole your humour and positively inspires this old man to do better. God bless you Brother!
Your videos are so very interesting. The relationship you have with your Dad is so much fun to watch.Looking forward to the next video 👍💁
My kids LOVE your videos! Especially my 5 yr old. He's always asking if there's a new cole the cornstar to watch. Lol! My 20 month old gets all excited when he sees the big equipment. Keep 'em coming!!!!
I’m all caught up! RUclips recommended your house cleaning up video maybe a month ago, and I ended up watching every single one of your videos. I enjoy them so much. I think because everyone in your family likes and respects each other (even when you tease each other it’s not mean teasing), and your parents are proud of all their kids, plus you so obviously love farming. It’s interesting too. I’m learning a lot. I grew up in Ohio farming country -we didn’t farm (parents were teachers) but the field behind us alternated soybeans, sugar beets, and corn. Now I’m in the suburbs of Albany NY. Nothing to do with farming. Still, I look forward to watching your videos at the end of a stressful day. Thanks so much for making and posting them!
Hi Cole! For some reason, every time your videos start they make me smile. Then..... during and again at the end you have me smiling again. You're such a happy guy! Thank, you for making me smile :-) Love your whole family and your videos!
And so handsome too😊
I'm sitting here in the Bay Area LOVING these videos. I can't explain it. Not even gonna try.
Ddrhl are u sitting on the dock of the bay? Watching time go by ? Lol
Ddrhl glad you like them!

Have had a tough day at work but your video has once again lifted my spirits. Warm wishes to you and your family x
2.1 mph - I love the accuracy both of your narration, and also of 'daddy cornstar's' reversing - wow, you guys are amazing, and inspiring.
Love love love the Grandpa Cornstar moment! ❤️ Cole, I have truly learned so much about farming from watching you! You explain things so well and I really appreciate that! Thank you!
Loved your grandads house outlet fix on the combine. Sounds like something I would've done when I was still farming. Gotta make do with whatcha got. Cheers.....
laying on the couch here watching...actually got up on my elbow a couple of times. love this stuff!

I hope and wish they can ratify it, but I am certain the Dems will drag their feet, they won't give President Trump a win on anything. They don't care how it affects US citizens or the economy.
Really like your videos. Was sent to your channel from the fans of Jared Crocker's channel. I grew up on my family's farm and we still run it today, nice to see someone else keeping up their families farm too!
The outlet is priceless!!! Granddaddy Cornstar made an appearance in the harvest ❤️
You guys have me cracking up Pete did have a long hard day good to see you out rolling man daddy Korn star will be getting a drone soon that's for sure y'all stay safe and have a good one man 💪💪👊👊🤙🤙👍👍👍
Mechanic trick for pulling an axle forward, use a comealong hooked to the frame of the truck back to the axle then keep wrenching away until it's where you want it. Works like a charm
For daddy cornstar. President John F. Kennedy once said, A farmer is the only person in business that pays retail for everything he buys, sells everything he produces at wholesale and pays shipping both ways. I am a 77 year old who enjoys all the antics on your program Cole.
All machines breakdown new and old keep on keeping on with the harvest. Our new combines breakdown periodically. Any brand of machines has it good points and bad ones the repairs are cheaper than a new machine. Stay safe and harvest on my friend keep giving your dad a hard time he is really awesome. We run agleader in all of our new johndeere machines along with greenstar. The agleader is great on older machines we love their GPS auto steer and variable rate systems for fertilizer and planting.
Awww, I hate when your videos end. I'm having so much fun with you and your family. I feel like I'm a part of it. ❤️
You are an energetic 22 yr young man. always busy but always cheerful. Glad you don’t have time to watch the negative crap on tv.
I enjoy your videos! They are very motivational!
I don't know much about farming, but I love your channe ! My dad grew up on a farm so I love to learn all I can about it!
Way to darn cold for November 7th!!!
Get that crop in!!
Great explanation on idling down ur motor
Hi Cole ... and corn star family !! ... have a great day from Australia 🇦🇺 🇦🇺
I like the Australian accent with the trailer backing up!
We have that same welder at my house, it’s a good one
The sensitivity displayed towards each other in this video is off the charts...
You guys are lucky that you only have frost. Here in Michigan where I live we have an inch of snow on the ground
That Cooper is right in there fixing things. Well I guess all you guys are mechanics. You are lucky to have friends and family come over and help. I would drive down and help but I am useless. I hope that you will be able to get all the corn in before the snow comes. It is always good to see you.
Wow I just figured it out your dad is silly to! Lol and it does look like you both love each other very much. Old city lady.
Call great videos appreciate you I wait for your entertainment everyday I'm not a farmer but I do enjoy your family and everything goes on there keep making them in Burnsville North Carolina Jim six-year-old man just said great job
The Aussie accent was spot on, add it more often please.
That red tree by the main heated shop is glorious! 🙌🏼
Thanks for few chuckles corn stars. 👍
Pete looks like a nice young man - he’s in good company!
Drome, filder, caimbine, crick... Daddy Cornstar is a legend.
house electrical socket on the combine yup thats old school depression era ingenuity hahahaha my grandpa and his 6 brothers all did the same type of things nothing would be tossed you might need it to fix something made me smile remembering my family :)
Yeah, I’m still throwing out, -oops- recycling boxes and boxes or barrels of STUFF!
Glad to see everything worked out with the combine

1st get Cole the Corn star notification 2nd click on thumbs up 👍 3rd watch another great Corn star farm video 4th leave a sappy comment 5th tell the corn star production team I love them 😍 😂
Cole a rachet binder and chain would pull that forward. When you get your parts to fix it be sure to line it up. The best way I've found is to drop trl and take masurements from the 5th wheel pin. Great video keep it up
LOVE the Steve Irwin bit!
Another great video. Thank you for sharing. Stay warm 🧣🧤🧦🌞 Happy Harvesting 🚜🌽
Thank you Ag Leader for hooking Cole up on the header censers . Still trying to figure out what Grand-paw was working with on the house electrical socket ?? Great editing love the banter back and forth with the videos . Keep up the great work folks .
Great video Cole...... this property I'm on grows poppies, wheat, sheep etc.... interesting to see your methods.
The worst part of these videos is that they have to end! I love these vids
I agree with you. Love these videos and hate for them to end.
I’ve felt the same way many times so I’ve watched several Cornstar video’s over and over until Cole and Summer get another video edited and uploaded, this family is a real life inspiration!
Why should I watch network TV when I can watch a great family harvest corn.
The man the myth the legend
G'Day Cole and Friends. Another A maize ing video with nice technical stuff too. Glad your combine is repaired. I was surprised to see it go down on Instagram. Hope you didn't lose too much $$$; tax write-offs are nice but still not the same. Regards to all on Cornstar Farms.
“Drome” 🤣🤣 oh daddy cornstar, so,cute!
Oh yes! Where they live they have CRICKS!!
I really enjoy your videos. Cole, you have a wonderful family and a beautiful girlfriend. I don't know you but,I am very proud of you! Bonnie Brown from time to time!
I have noticed a lot of 1 step forward and 2 steps back in farming, seems like nothing goes as planned. I guess that’s why they say patience is a virgin..... wait.....that’s not right? well, it’s something like that. Keep swinging guys and we will keep hitting the thumbs up and waiting for the next one......
So interesting all

Drome. LOL
Your grandpa and my dad would have gotten along fabulously…
And my husband, dear God if they all got together.
Great video may I ask what the outlet was for?
I wouldn't last a day on the farm. Thank you for doing it so I can live my comfortable city life.
Daddy Cornstar is a pretty cool guy... Cole your pretty good too. 🙂
Well you did it again Cole for that you get 7 million thumbs up awesome as always please tell the rest of the family I said hello and that means your girlfriend as well keep that smile going
that is too funny about the house socket in the tractor engine -- its just the kind of thing my father would have done - I'm sure they were from the same era when you made do with what you had on hand...jerry-rigging they called it.....LOL!! interesting vid....I know I say that a lot but its true! ♥
When Daddy was operating the "drome", I was afraid he was going to crash it in the field. Then he would have probable "warshed " it in the "crick". I don't mean to make fun, where I'm from, you would think we had dogs living on the tops of all our houses (up on the "ruf"). We like when Friday comes because we know tomorrow is "Sayerdey".
Cole, ur a real inspiration!
Great program, Cole😃👍👏👏👏
Your Grandpa sounds a lot like mine, he thought everything could be fixed with bailing wire. His car was held together with it 😂
Reused everything he could. Didn’t waste anything.
Also: Fear the mullet 🤣
He must have lived in Parker county?
Nope Harris county in Houston Tx in the 1900s before it became a huge city.
He had show horses and a farm. Was almost 100 when he passed.
I love watching yall combine the fields yall keep the amazing videos coming
Well shoot, that's a handy little trailer!
WT Farm Girl Videos very!
Daddy 🌽🌟 has impressive reversing skills. 👍
