Questing and AI go hand in hand. This is why I'm a pro-AI player for Path of Titans specifically. With AI running around, it vastly expands the complexity and fun that we can have with quests. Here are just some ideas of benefits it could bring:
    - Defense quests/modes
    - Threat of ambushes at any time
    - Bounty quests
    - Alternate spawn via hatchling from AI
    - Virtually zero empty servers, AI fill spots players don't take
    - More immersion from running into creatures everywhere you go
    - Can be coded with complex eating and sleeping behaviors, maybe even being able to join player groups and help solos survive
The possibilities just go on from there. I am *REALLY* excited for Path's future.

@@Persephone00000 Also, I didn't think about this at the time, but AI in the oceans means that the oceans could actually have threats in them and therefore people might actually play aquatics since they have stuff to do and see. Biomes in general can differentiate themselves more by having different species spawning in them. (Spinosaurids along coasts/rivers, desert dinos spawning in deserts, etc.)

After some gameplay, I was more interested in PoT but wasn't entirely sold on the quests, since even PoT players recognize they can be a pain.

I would still say The Isle's playables are much more fleshed-out than PoT's, as is their graphics and sound design. Wen it comes to PoT's dinos, all of their skills and abilities sort of "blur" together; everything lacks a unique playstyle and feels half-assed as a result.
But when it comes to quality of life features, map design, player viability - yes it beats The Isle by a landslide in this regard. Curious to see if their aggressive AI will surpass The Isle's.

    One word: Bosses.
PoT is kind of promoted as "the dinosaur MMO" but it isn't really. Sure there objectives to help you grow but the endgame is basically PvP/Survival like all the other dino games. Adding bosses could give an alternative goal at endgame, being difficult to impossible to take down solo and dropping a shit ton of coins as a reward to buy skins, maybe even unlock skins exclusive to those that defeated the boss.

    • @robertosilva6h

Boss appearing in places where the game records many deaths (hotspots) and rewarding groups that participated with exclusive skins is something I would like, perhaps each boss being weak to a certain playable would encourage it. I'm obviously very excited about A.I creatures in PoT, mostly due to the interaction. I think one of the things PoT suffers from the most is getting players immersed, looking at its competitor The Isle for a moment we can see that players can grow and fight but also nest and create specific builds by the food they eat - compared to PoT, The Isle is a more immersive experience. A.I. for PoT can change that radically and I think a majority of the players (I assume since most top servers are realism servers) want to truly get into the headspace of their playable.

This game DESPERATELY needs AI. So many issues people have could be tackled with the help of some dynamically spawning dinos. Without it every server, even the realism ones, eventually devolve into dino deathmatch around IC. It's just the place to find players across the game unless you want the fun of digging in burrows or touring between corpses with no interaction. Like the devs worked out a whole system for easy PVP, if people are seeking out that experience there's places for it. Quite a large portion of the audience who picked up the "be a dinosaur" game, kind of just want to be a dinosaur in a world that isn't mostly empty of dinosaurs.
If it's an MMO-style, add in some rare spawning dinos with better health or damage than their player counterparts. Slap a unique skin on them and give it to the player(s) if they kill that dino. Let players be parents! They build a nest, give them some AI kids to protect through adolescence for big quest rewards. Maybe slot that into player nesting and some eggs are players. Have that "kill herbivore" quest tag a nearby AI dino specifically to kill. Maybe if you're a laten it's a baby with an angry parent, maybe if you're a rex it's an eo with a partner.

I hope the ai quests are client-side instead of server-side, at least the ones that reward skins and emotes. I wanna be able to log onto officials and grind out those quests, get the skins/emotes, and then take them to use them in my favorite realism server.
I also hope that ai quest-giver dinosaurs can be enabled and disabled for community servers. Realism servers would benefit from that function for the purposes of keeping their server as immersive as it can be.
I am very tired so I don’t know how coherent this comment is. These are just my general hopes and dreams for the new quest system.

They do need to think about making another map as well. Panjura is not as popular as gondwa mostly because of how diverse gondwa is. now as i said in another persons post, People always like to hangout in one place and adding progessivly learning A.I to this game will very much bring more immerstion, being able to group with A.I dinos to form a herd. I like useing a carnotaurus and i always like to duo with people, but people dont ever want to actually RP the game as intended it to be. They need to think about bringing in a UI simular to the isle also with more dynamic eating/ combat type stuff. They also do need to think about putting in an elder stage, The growth system is alright but when you grow you stop at an adult, but having a longer progresstion to elder with lowered perks decreasing your chances of survival. Plus i actually want them to make the growth more dynamic as well once grown to an adult, being able to grow in mass/a dynamic weight system depending how much you eat so when your boaderline starving, it wont take your health untill you start losing that mass/weight. Also giving the ability to put you with a mother as a hatchling and have to depend on her for food and growth instead of relying on quests to grow your dino. Their is a lot of potential to be made here and i believe if they actually look over about what i said. i am very confident that path of titans will have the ability to actually surpass the isle. Which will very much be a very big deal.

Xzaguer....When a video on BoB? Since while Pot and The Isles communities are snapping at each others, BoB is progressing steadely , the Even managed to make aquatics, flyers , mutations, and freaking snakes work. they already have a good gameplay loop that puch players to try again and harder with each death. The powerscaling is not as twisted as Pot or the Isles. Plus the games is growing steadily with each updates. Its Much more fun than the Isle or Path of titan in my opinion.

Until their graphics, animations and sound design see a MASSIVE overhaul, and until they completely remove inifinite growth and randomized inherits/traits - BoB will always trail in a distant third place. Hate to say it, but it's true. The game looks hideously outdated by today's standards and its toxic clan community destroyed its potential from the inside-out.

      @sealboy1211 5 месяцев назад

@@alexs29 tldr; no, modern bob is light years ahead of even a couple of years ago. 😇
bob is much closer to a feature complete game than either pot or isle. The graphics have improved immensely. I find myself looking at modern bobs sunsets and sunrises, or see the sky overcast with rolling thunder in the distance wondering if it’s just a light rain or map changing weather, I can’t help but notice bobs graphics have come along ways. All the remodels and animations and the new creatures are far and away higher quality than we had a few years ago. I’ll always suspect of this had the graphics of evrima, isle and pot would be distant second and third as Bob is just that much better on a gameplay level. All opinions of course, I get the desire to be fully visually immersed in this genre, but for me next to Bob, the visuals do not make up for what is not there.
All that said, infinite growth….yea…it’s a thing….but devs seem willing to tweak stat scaling to keep power creep from getting out of hand. And with modern bobs gameplay loop, the clan thing is sort of over. Like yea communities are going to have tight friend groups. Call them clans but they cannot lock down entire sections of the map due to anti afk mechanics and your typical trash spawn dino is not so outgunned these days with inherits not being so critical. It’s more about the build now, inherits are a cherry.
Even so, a fully solo player, by way of playing the game well in regards to their creatures needs, you can create your own genetically blessed specimen with a sort of solo nesting, play a dinosaur well and upon death reincarnate into a potential beast. As OP said, Bob is doing what the others would like. Just so many systems running under the hood that gets overlooked for its cartoony graphics and realism breaking moves but man if ya can’t tell I love it. Happy gaming!

The isle is the most hard-core of the three. It has the best graphics, most depth to its gameplay, most difficult combat, and is the 2nd most popular. It suffers from lag, being the most unforgiving, and a lack of updates. It also has the least helpful and competent dev team of the three. It is however the most fun of the 3 on a good day or with friends. If you want realism or immersion, go for The Isle.
Path of Titans is the most forgiving of the three. It's the most popular and most customizable of the three. It is the only one to have community made mods that allow you to basically customize the game to your needs (you can literally add creatures). Path has great graphics as well but lacks in depth to its gameplay. Mainly combat in the game is far less interesting than the isle or beats of Bermuda. If you want variety and chill customization, go for Path of Titans.
Beasts of Bermuda is the underdog of the three, but don't let that title fool you that it's not worth playing. It has the best gameplay loop in that you can upgrade your creature to suit your playstyle. It also has the most diverse and unique roster (I mean they have a giant sea snake and marine reptiles for example). Beasts of Bermuda is also the cheapest and updates most frequently. However, it lacks in graphics. If you want dumb fun without straying too far from realism, go for Beasts of Bermuda
My personal fav is The Isle cause of its more tactical gameplay, but pick whatever u want with your money!
