When he said "to mod or not to mod" that touched me right in the feels man... I cried and let out tears from my eyes and white stuff in my pants and felt 5 stages of grief just hearing that quote from AHS
@@galm2pixy666 this is the first time I seen someone ask a comment to one of this folks. And what I mean by that is, people who made accounts years or longer, making a comment and poof. What were you trying to ask him about?
Monsters Plus and Ore Creepers are probably my favorites on this list. Ore Creepers are also super convenient, but I can assume they're very rare, since there's a diamond and emerald variant.
Would be interesting to see the creepers change old ores into their variant, and have coal creepers spawn near to diamonds and such so you need to think strategy before blowing them up and changing the diamonds to coal
Birch forest was one of the things I was really waiting for because it looked so cool but I was really disappointed when it wasn't added. Will definitely be downloading wondrous wilds.
the better combat mod is actually amazing. it even has a config option to show your arms in first person which is so awesome. not to mention it can be used on both forge AND fabric. i would definitely recommend it
Squat, you NEED To review "Essentials" This mod is super amazing but pretty underrated! It adds things like being able to make your Singleplayer world Multiplayer and having anyone across the world play with you! It also adds cosmetics with almost 15 FREE Cosmetics! You can review your screenshots in game too! Theres more stuff but this is my favorite mod and I think other people will enjoy it as much as I do!
Read through essentials terms of service and it appears they skim and sell lots of user data. It is not an indie mod project from a well intentioned member of our community, that much is clear just from looking at the official website. Not to mention the horribly expensive add-ons store that shouldn't even be allowed to exist at all under minecrafts mod rules
I'm literally skimming curseforge almost daily for new high quality mods and you always seem to find insanely good ones that I still somehow missed out on omfg you're a sweet babyangel,, thanks for these!
Sometimes I wish we could just mash fabric and forge together to make one more open modding community, I use forge and I really want to use Do a barrel roll and sodium together because I'm running on a low end pc with over 20 mods on some modpacks. Amazing video tho.
Nostalgic Tweaks is my new favorite mod and I think it needs some attention. It's super detailed and customizable to the point where you can make minecraft (visually) 1:1 with whatever version you want. 1.2 is good but 2.0 is just amazing.
Some lesser known mods that I found pretty cool (They're all for Fabric fyi): Movement Vision by LudoCrypt (You can only see things that are in motion, or when you move your camera) (19k downloads) HotbarCycle by nyuppo (Gives you the ability to cycle through your inventory rows or just a single slot with configurable hotkeys) (3k downloads) QuitConfirm by CaaMoe_ (Brings up a confirmation menu when trying to leave a world or close the game in case you didn't mean to quit) (51k downloads) Super Secret Settings by ffxys (re-adds the super secret settings Mojang removed in 1.9. You can also add keybinds to switch between effects as well as disable it) (3k downloads)
Bro... Why I didn`t see you before!! You completely make my day, couse - I wanted to make a realistic-vanilla minecraft for me and my friend, and I searched soooooo long time really good mods... Thank you!! You just kick out my door into good mods
Mannn I’ve been waiting for so long for many of these videos hoping my small mods might make it up on a list. One day maybe. Anyways good video!! Ill be trying some of these!
It might be an old mod, but Waystones adds in these randomly placed stone markers that can be named and used for fast travel, they can also be crafted or mined for personal use, probably OP but on repeat playthroughs it's way more convenient than conventional methods of travel.
I scroll down to the description only to die a horrible death at the realization that the mods I wanted are for fabric Super glad I can get Ore Creeper and Combat roll though. Your videos have helped me find so many good mods, thank you man.
I have a suggestion, the mod is called crispy’s wildlife and it’s a great animal mod as it adds reptiles, insects, mammals and more. The textures look realistic and there’s a large variety of creatures hopefully you see this!
there is a vary simple mod that adds one item called Netherite Totem the mod called "Death Totem / Netherite Totem" if you shift right click on ground with the totem it will remember the spot and teleport you/save your life when you are low on hp, for me it helps in the end islands when I fall into the void
Most of those are never heard of because they just released. Admirable for those, who don't check on new releases all that often i suppose. But what if you did an actual showcase of rarely used mods that already been a thing for a while, and yet they go by unnoticed? Some examples would be Yttr, NEEPMeat, Peculia, Gravity API and Cyclonite
Hey AsianHalfSquat, could you do a video on the modrinth project? I find it a really exciting alternative to the curseforge/twitch client and wanted to spread awareness :)
I think you should check out Project Rankine. It changes world generation underground, adds a deep alloying system to the game, and has a bunch of other crazy game mechanics
ehhh i think Wilder Wild (not wilder wilds) is better then wonderous wilds, wilder wild just has a lot more cool features and stays true to the vanilla style
I have a mod that's been on development since 2020, it's called Alterlands. You would help me a lot if you could check it out, it adds a new dimension, accesory system with more than 200 accesories, 2 extra difficulties and i'm now working on the 1.18 port, as the mod is very big and it needs time to be ported through versions. It would make me very happy if you could check it out in the future. Great vid as always
Here's a mod that needs some attention: Hex Casting, there's not many videos about it online at all. (If you wana see the true wealth of things you can do with it, join the discord)
When AHS said "it's moddin' time" I felt down to my knees and starting sobbing. Absolute amazing video.
I loved the part after he said "it's moddin' time", where he proceeded to mod all over everyone. Truly stupendous.
When he said "to mod or not to mod" that touched me right in the feels man... I cried and let out tears from my eyes and white stuff in my pants and felt 5 stages of grief just hearing that quote from AHS
@@eeeskim0656 id love for him to mod all over me personally
@@ROADHouse702 oh you just modded me up now I am thinking about it
When he said What if the Modder became the Modded. I was philosophically moved
Do a barrel roll should be an option in some kinda ultra hardcore mode.
That would be the most challenging but fun thing to experience.
As someone who's played Ace Combat on expert controls, this is a must have for stellar flying.
Honestly is pretty easy after you get familiar it (I use direction key to control roll)
@@Sun9ty yo buddy,still alive?

kid named dark souls
That woodpecker model in wondrous wilds looks amazing!
Monsters Plus and Ore Creepers are probably my favorites on this list. Ore Creepers are also super convenient, but I can assume they're very rare, since there's a diamond and emerald variant.
As someone who’s used the mod before- Diamond and Emerald versions are pretty rare, but more common ore type creepers are- well- more common
Would be interesting to see the creepers change old ores into their variant, and have coal creepers spawn near to diamonds and such so you need to think strategy before blowing them up and changing the diamonds to coal
@@jerrythemonkey5255 theyre just a silly mob idk why putting strategy into it would help
@@spicywings4614 I agree. You *need* these Creepers to explode, so you could harvest the Ores they leave behind.
@@ryonhatcher4561 That's what makes that mod ridiculously OP.
the fact that he uploads so rarely makes it always exciting
IKR, his upload schedule is completely out of wack.
More creepers? Damn that's a flashback to early modding era.
Birch forest was one of the things I was really waiting for because it looked so cool but I was really disappointed when it wasn't added. Will definitely be downloading wondrous wilds.
Ore Creepers looks so great ! Also if you're looking for not too popular mods, Unusual End and Endless Biomes are two cool End expanding mods
the better combat mod is actually amazing. it even has a config option to show your arms in first person which is so awesome. not to mention it can be used on both forge AND fabric. i would definitely recommend it

Stop recommending this mod to people pls
I think "do a barrel roll" mod just from the clip alone makes me motion sick. Gosh imagine that in Vr
I'm literally skimming curseforge almost daily for new high quality mods and you always seem to find insanely good ones that I still somehow missed out on omfg you're a sweet babyangel,, thanks for these!
Forge/fabric/quilt compatible mods should get an award or something
I agree
damn that's cool, some of them were really unique also
I feel like an amazing addition to Tinted Campfires would be where it also changes the color of the smoke to that specific color.
Thanks for all the mods
The barrel roll one and the birch forest one are both incredible!
I recommend you check out "Prehistoric nature" mod. That mod is criminally underrated.
Thanks for showcasing my campfire mod :)
What was the shader you used in the first mod showcase? Thanks
It's Complementary Reimagined all the way through, same as always.
1:15 I see where the name comes from. It's pretty similar to Breath of the Wild's weapon selection.
The sound effects are ripped straight out of BotW too, for extra authenticity
Another small mod is Weapon Leveling. It only has about 2k downloads. It makes your weapons and armor levelable
The Do a Barrel Roll mod seems cool. It's a completely new way of looking at minecraft. Being upside down xD
Have you checked out the farmer's delight mod yet? Pretty much revamps cooking and crops entirely
It's not really an obscure mod lol
@@technoboop1890 yeah, but ive never seen it on the channel
Love that end video recording of you falling down a mountain but backwards. Took me a while

include Fluidlogged in one of your videos, it's really cool and doesn't have that many downloads!
(at the time of typing this it has 1.4k downloads)
first time easing into modding Minecraft. been at it for hours now, this stuff is fun
Try you use Ender and sculk updrate mod

The do a barrel roll mod is honestly insane
pretty epic but no transitional aha

I just installed Minecraft on my new Steam Deck and you are definitley my go to channel to get new mods :)
Kepp up the good work!
1:32 item swapper basically
a moment of silence for the lemming train of sheep in the intro
Would love to see overgrown skeletons in the lush caves
Let’s gooo I was just thinking of getting back into modded Minecraft and asianhalfsquat uploads another mods video, ah the timing is perfect
fish undead rising would be a cool showcase
Love all the new variants
Check out Fantasia RPG Races, it’s a good contender for the origins mod and is overall a very good quality mod for how small it is!!
do a barrel roll is so trippy it's amazing
there is a vary simple mod that adds one item called Netherite Totem the mod called "Death Totem / Netherite Totem" if you shift right click on ground with the totem it will remember the spot and teleport you/save your life when you are low on hp, for me it helps in the end islands when I fall into the void
Pretty op and removes the challenge when it was already a simple enough one
There’s a new performance mod by the guy who made sodium. And there’s a server plugin that increases minecart speed

Do you have mods that i can play with an intel core i3? I cant really upgrade my computer rn
If tinted campfires slightly changed the color of the smoke, that’d be cool.
The Hordes Mod. Great for Zombie Survival.
Now you can make a video with the iris why it got updated and now it haves pbr support
Varietree, it makes your world look more natural by adding new tree variants
Try "wilder wilds"
You have got to check SWEM, it improves horses in every single aspect + it's new(ly released)!
We need a realistic ocean mod tbh
Something to make the oceans deeper, vaster and cloudier
Then chuck in some animal mods ig
please make a video on 'better mc' modpack. that's the best modpack I have ever seen
Do a barrel roll looks insane
You should do the Dalek mod
Hey AsianHalfSquat, could you do a video on the modrinth project? I find it a really exciting alternative to the curseforge/twitch client and wanted to spread awareness :)

Do the cosmetica mod next time, I absolutely love it.
Make best vehicle physics like drift car or all
Well done you've now gotten me to go on yet another... God damn nod spree
Can you make an Inventory mods Video, like the Wild Tools Access mod
I’m curious, are you going to buy a 4090 and if so, can we get a push it to the limits video?
probably gonna save this until i figure out how to re-install minecraft.
Sheepfalls!!! Nice mod!
Enchancements mod please, it's a mod that overhauls enchantments
The ore creepers were my favourite on this list purely because they make ores renewable.
ehhh i think Wilder Wild (not wilder wilds) is better then wonderous wilds, wilder wild just has a lot more cool features and stays true to the vanilla style
im gonna have to honestly agree
Wich shaders did u use for the first mod ? And in the outro ?
I smiled so wide at the ore creepers!
What shader are you using? Looks like Minecraft bedrock shader
You should look at Harsed it’s a really new mod and they will add more.
do a barrel roll is infact for forge and fabric but theres pages so look at the 2nd page if u want 1.18.2
Every other mod has a download amount listed in the video, but better respawn has the date it was updated instead.
