Heartstopper is soooo adorable and happy a book!!! And the recent adaptation is sooo dreamy and cute like the characters just came out to play themselves!!! 💕 sadly volume 5 would be the last!
I'm surprised none of the Harry Potter books were on this list, every time I order my Goodreads books by average rating all the HP books are at the top 😅
I wonder if Hailey purposely left them off due to Rowlings recent controversies. Many booktubers are refusing to talk about her and her books because they don’t want to promote her which I understand
@@poisonedyoyo it is not disgusting, your attitude is. We aren't replacing anyone with anyone else, trans women are women and space needs to be made in female communities for them. Yes trans women should be allowed to participate in sports, yes trans women should be allowed to do anything other women can do. Rowling has made the general public feel comfortable and safe expressing transphobic views by doing so herself, constantly only posting about trans women in a negative light. The more the public feels safe harrassing trans people, the less safe their existence is. She posts the harmful stories that are so so few and far between, and always ignores all the happiness and positive impact that can come when people are allowed to be their true selves. Hailey is allowed to choose whether or not to lend her platform to any specific author or book, she is not required to promote anyone, especially anyone who has Rowling's level of fame.
Yes!!! I use booktube and goodreads to pick my next read. I'm pretty caught up on all of the popular ones. I'd love some suggestions that don't have a lot of hype and this suggestion would be a great way to do it.
I’m currently reading crooked kingdom and just read six of crows and so far I’m loving crooked kingdom and I think there both amazing books. Definitely my favourite grishaverse books EVER!!! 💕
Sequels probably generally get higher ratings because the people who are reading them most likely liked the first book too, so it kind of weeds out the people who don't like the general style. I recently read Heartstopper, Crooked Kingdom and Clockwork Princess so I've been spoiled by good books lol.
Hailey, I’ve watched your videos for awhile. I love and appreciate your honesty with your mental health AND the books you read. Keep doing you human!! 💜
I agree with almost all of these and the second book of the crescent city series was so much better and I totally agree about how long sarah J mass books can be
I can’t for the life of me remember crooked kingdom, but I remember six of crows. My memory is terrible so I recently started annotating to help me remember. But I checked my goodreads and I rated them both 5 star lol
Super interesting! My top books are like 5 of the Harry Potter series, Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption, A Game of Thrones and A Storm of Swords (GOT books 1 and 3), The Hate U Give, Born a Crime by Trevor Noah, The Help, The Green Mile, and Where the Crawdads Sing!! Can’t wait to read Seven Husbands, the LOTR series, The Nightingale, Project Hail Mary and the Rose Code!!!
@@mariahsmith2751 I agree, it was quite boring, But for me that was not the biggest issue. I felt that everything bad that could happen to the characters happened. And while I understand that it is a WW2 historical fiction and that life was during war is hard and tragic things happen, but the events depicted in the novel were too many, exaggerated, and quite simply, unrealistic.
I've actually read three of these! (I'm surprised b/c I don't feel like I read a lot of books compared to booktubers.) A Court of Mist and Fury being on here doesn't surprise me; it was so much better than the previous one in such a popular series. I actually thought it was fine (the first was meh) and then the series (and apparently the books by this author in general) really slide downhill: lack of editing, lack of growth in writing... House of Hades was good as far as I can remember; I think I'm going to like the stuff from that world as a tv show better. Less time investment to watch than read, and maybe they'll make it less repetitive too... And I think I did read at least two vols of Saga b/c I read a lot of comics and graphic novels and it was so hyped. It's also one of the ones that taught me I don't much care for Image books, hyped or not. I get why people like them...there's this idea that when you get into comics you start out with superheroes from the big publishers and then "grow up" into creator-owned stuff...but me, I just turned right back around. Image/creator owned stuff I've read so far, have been just okay or gone so OTT with the graphic graphicness or whatever that I just don't care. Saga is so into gross-out stuff...meh. There's plenty of other comics I'd rather read.
Weird how the Harry Potter books didn’t come up, I have both crooked kingdom and clockwork princess on mine and they’re below deathly hallows for highest average rating.
have you read vampire academy and bloodlines series? would love to know your opinion and if you haven't, you should read them! VA is being adapted into a series!
Nonstop action? Character development? Greek dieties? Percy Jackson sounds worse and worse the more I hear about it, and that's not even counting the terrible writing when I picked one off the shelf at the story one time. I will probably still check out the Disney+ show but the book series sounds yipes.

Yes! I just finished the Heartstopper adaptation and it was adorable. It gave me the exact same feelings as the graphic novels did!
A series for hearstopper just came out on Netflix
Currently reading the seven husbands of evelyn hugo... it finally got me out of my reading slump!
So so good!

A video on your books with the fewest goodreads ratings would be a great way to talk about authors who would really appreciate a few more sales!

And then Hailey can read the ones that interest her!

Omg you worked at Chapters?! DREAM JOB
my highest rated is actually a non fiction book, "family don't end in blood" a supernatural fandom book. 4.61 but with only 1,238 ratings
Loved the last Goodreads video and I'm so happy you're doing one again! I hope you're doing well! ✨
You could title the other video most popular and least popular books. Also, I binged the Heartstopper show yesterday and it's so adorable.
So happy that you continued this series!
I do remember the clockwork Angel trio was my favv back in the day.
I love your bookshelf! Slay
Glad to see ur putting out new videos
I LOVE evelyn Hugo! So glad it had solo many reviews! 💖💖💖
I really like this kind of videos!
Hailey, I’ve watched your videos for awhile. I love and appreciate your honesty with your mental health AND the books you read. Keep doing you human!! 💜
I'd love to see this where you do only standalones!!!
Yes, Evelyn is that girllllll
I agree with Crooked Kingdom. I LOVE Six of Crows, but I loooooove CK. She just gave everyone what they deserved, it was in-credible.
I agree with almost all of these and the second book of the crescent city series was so much better and I totally agree about how long sarah J mass books can be
Hey Hailey! Just want to wish you a beautiful day ahead! I am reading House of Salt and Sorrow. I hope you are doing well with your loved ones ❤
I really loved that book!
It might be fun to see how books within the same series compare ratings-wise!
I can’t for the life of me remember crooked kingdom, but I remember six of crows. My memory is terrible so I recently started annotating to help me remember. But I checked my goodreads and I rated them both 5 star lol
Really cool video idea!
I completely agree with your opinion of the seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo
GR also said Caraval/Once Upon a Broken Heart was good... lmao
Super interesting!

I have read The Nightingale and I absolutely HATED it, could not stand, barely even finished it.
I didn't hate it but felt it was pretty bad 😕
I didn’t even finish it. I couldn’t I was so bored

When you listed the amount of rating there were it made me wonder what the most rated and least rated books are that you have read.
Loved this video and interested in more !
loving daily videos!
Great video! Thanks!
I just started I Must Betray You per your recommendation.🙂
the Heartstopper adaptation is incredible. I only have one episode to go. Perfect casting.
My hot take is that I prefer Concrete Rose over The Hate U Give. Both so good though
Can you do a booktok romance reading vlog?!
Weird how the Harry Potter books didn’t come up, I have both crooked kingdom and clockwork princess on mine and they’re below deathly hallows for highest average rating.
Hailey probably didn’t want to mention jkr because of her recent controversies and harmful opinions
Great video!
Hailey can you do another if you like this, then try that.
I looked up my highest rated out of curiosity and 90% of it is manga lmao
HAILEY HAVE YOU SEEN HEARTSOPPER ITS AMAZING I WATCHED IT IN A DAY
