Great vids, Im in Brisbane, been making my own foundation like you do, and rolling them, but my bees are reluctant to work on it, any thoughts?

For normal foundation I make sure that the wax is not too clean, ie. only double filtered. The smell of honey is still in the wax. The only thing that I can think of is a lack of nectar coming in. The bees will draw comb if they need to. Try putting one of your own foundation frames in the middle of the brood box.The bees should have it drawn out in a week. A “bait” comb from the brood box placed into the middle of the super will also encourage bees to start drawing comb. Good luck with it.
