    Got my Matrix 2-1 a month ago. I'm a huge fan. Haven't done the mopping yet. But the vacuum side has got all the old cat hair out the carpet. My allergies have improved and stinky rooms are now neutral. Worth every penny.

    I sent it back. The mopping was terrible. I wet swiffered my floor before and then used the shark and the pad barely got anything. 2 days later I swiffered again then used my braava 240 and the pad got some more dirt on it. Think shark is more like dust mopping. The vacuuming was just ok compared to my roomba. I will say Shark's steam scrub mop is amazing! The floors sparkle after using that.

    Thank you JAD, for your honest review! Looks like I bought the right one at Christmas time! I got one similar to your non mop one at 12:23. I got the Shark AV2511AE AI robot vac. It was no where near the $600 that it is listed for now!!! Glad I got it on sale! I wanted a bagless system so I wouldn't have to buy bags the rest of my life, and I also wanted the duel side brushes which they eliminated now. :^( My only con is, like you said, it doesn't tell you where it is or what it cleaned or yet to be cleaned. Other than that it does a good job IMO.

    Hey, great detailed review video! I'm not sure why you didn't have the option to control the liquid usage when in vac/mop mode but I can control both liquid usage and suction strength. I've only tried attempting to use the liquid usage and suction strength controls while using the vac/mop mode for whole-home mode and not while in room-specific mode. I have the Shark AI Ultra 2-in-1 RV2610WACA and I use an Samsung Android-based smartphone with Android 13 to control my Shark robot vacuum. When I first got this Shark robot vacuum, I originally had app version 4.2.0 and now I am using app version 4.2.2, the vac/mop mode liquid usage and suction strength controls were available in both app versions. I've had this Shark robot vacuum for two months and no issues with it.
    My theory is that your Shark RV2610 might be mistakenly set up in the Shark Clean app or incorrectly recognized by the Shark Clean app as one of Shark's first-gen Vac Mop robots, the RV2001. I'm not sure if the RV2001 Vac Mop series has liquid usage controls.

    I have the same AI vac as your original (although with only one side brush?), love it. We have dogs, runs every night and does an excellent job, for hair and also for the very fine dirts. Was going to get the mop version but I'm not interested at the level of manual intervention. I'd rather a seperate mop only unit that's more independent... Something that only needs attention every few day maybe like our current Shark.

    I just picked this up after liking the Shark AI vacuuming. We wanted to get a mop feature and tried upgrading the 2in1 but it doesn’t mop. Put solution in added in the carpet no go zones but the mop just wipes the floor without using any cleaning solution. Needless to say the mopping feature is not very helpful without any solution.

    i have the vac only with lidar and i cant automate multiple cleaning runs in one day and i cant do one for one room. for example, i cant schedule the vac to clean the kitchen twice a day. i cant even program it to clean the kitchen only once a day, it has to be the whole floor.

    I like your reviews. I am looking at a new robot cleaner. My current one is old, uses magnetic strips, and is lackluster. I'm trying to debate getting a vacuum & mop. The high end ones are expensive. This one is like half price. However, I do not think I would like having to switch out the vacuum dust bin and put in the mop bin. I think I will remove this one from my list (but might consider their vacuum only one if the price is decent).

  • @Damitsall
    @Damitsall Год назад

    Its hard to really criticize the Shark to heavily vs similar products because if the price. I am decided between this and the J9+ Combo. The Shark is 1/3 the price of the Roomba. Plus Shark is the only company I know that has a bagless auto empty bin.

    Thanks for the detailed review, it was very informative. I was really interested in picking up this unit, as it currently appears to be on sale. It is $499 on Shark's site and $479 on Amazon. It may have been a Prime Day deal a few days ago but I missed that. I'm curious, how much did you pay when you picked this unit up? This will be my first robot vac and the shortcomings you mentioned don't seem like dealbreakers for me and there are so many options out there I'm kind of tired of looking for the best one. Is this the vacuum you would choose if you had a budget of $500?

    I agree with your thoughts on the app, especially when mapping. Haven’t fully got it down yet. Sometimes robot gets confused finding its way back to dock. I’ve had to reboot and reconnect to WI-FI a couple of times. Wish app had more options like powering off and re-setting while in clean mode. Yes, there are a few hiccups. TY for your video.

    I just want it to cover my studio apartment which has no carpet. I think for that this thing should go above and beyond. The only issue I see is that lidar on top means it cant get under my sofa which is meh. I wanted the roomba J7 but I am not paying that much for a small apartment. That's where this sort of fits in for me with price value to features offered. I got it for $300 on sale this month directly through Shark. Roomba is a lot more $

    Just a dad. Hey, i know of a way to quadruple your views. If you add a video of you de beeping all these coffee makers. Seriously, so many people hate beeps. If you rip out the peizo buzzers, or the piece of metal on top of them that make the buzzer beep, youve de beeped your appliance. All those coffee makers would sell better if people knew how to de beep them. I kind of do.

    This vacuum did not last a day in my house before I returned it. After it mapped my house, for some reason it would only clean the master bedroom and then go partly down my hallway. I did not have any no go sections created on the app, so I am not sure why it kept doing this. I deleted the map and tried again, same result. Also, it runs out of the solution/water very quickly which then causes the user to refill which I was not a fan of. I returned this and purchased the Eufy X10 Pro Omni after watching a few of your reviews on RUclips including this one: ruclips.net/video/gokPwp4viJg/видео.html
    Really hoping for a better result. Thanks for all your videos, they are very helpful.
