starting to feel like I only saw half of the game....
the world needs more developers like this
only less clunky and annoying
Omg after seeing the secret cat ending the cat in the game's main cover art makes sense.
Exactly, me too. :D
Yeah man
hidden in plain sight since the beginning
16:18 the snowman can play music, the coal-piece is at the base of the ladder. it is the same song as the snowman in c3. thanks for the guide i loved finding all of these easter eggs!
Justice for Snowman #2
17:38 the red face is a reference to "red John" from the series "the Mentalist" ;)
I loved this searis i like Patrick Jane is funny man😀
yea
Omg someone who remembers
I was going to comment that. I think it is.
Finding all the sigils without assistance was insanely hard, in the process I found about 10 easter eggs (there's QR code on the outer wall of one castle level marking a past iteration terminating because its coordinates went out of bounds, not really an easter egg but worth a mention). Most of these I didn't even have the faintest incling about, it's really impressive. In addition to the game itself being incredible.
I was on a patch of grass hugging the walls (as you do) when I heard a faint voice jabbering about money and being rich. I had no clue - turns out it was because I was standing on the other side of the wall from the finance character.
I also found all of the sigils without looking it up (except for the clock puzzle).
Found a lot of easter eggs, but only 1/4 of them it seems
6:21 That's how i actually imagine the office of the CEO of EA looks like.
You know, I found that Parker's room one while playing the game and since I don't know anything about the references I thought it had something to do with the story. So strange!
I also found the blue screen computer and the mirror while playing. I'm not a serious gamer so
I'm naive and think that these things I found meant something to the story line. I can't imagine that people found all this without any idea that such things could be there but amazing of you did!
“Take sword”
Yeah that’s right, it’s a Minecraft pickaxe
Only PineShuffle can reply u
I like how Alexandra talks about how they're under constant pressure to finish the simulation in time, and meanwhile the devs are messing around with jetpacks, minecraft references and rocking snowmen
It doesn't seem like that. It is said that simulation was created from game engine and games codes for saving time. It can be understand, that those elements were made not by them, but by simulation itself, just like whole simulation is cracked, Elohim and Serpent acts on their own and so on.
@@user-vr8qd4hk6y Oh, that's actually a very good point. Thanks!
Pickaxe? That's no pickaxe. That a sword ye dingus
lol yeah
Yea
mistake xD
teach me baldi
xD
When you started "dancing" (i.e. twitching your screen like a madman) to the rock n roll version of jingle bells, it was an instant subscribe moment for me :D
Wow, of all the Easter eggs in the game I only noticed the stone slab to build the statue on, and I only wondered if it was a glitch or something. I suppose I'm not human enough ;-)
I WILL go and get that cat ending now!
16:16 yes he does! there's a button by the ladder. it's the same music as in c3 though.
18:34 - OH MY GOD, THAT'S what all those fans were for! Didn't realise you were supposed to lead the mine to the turret to solve that puzzle! XD
How did you solve it then 😮
@@Virolaxion You use the recording to jam the turret and move the jammer next to the fan that takes you to the next floor while still jamming the turret, then using the recording again you take the jammer from there and it works
Its incredible how someone can find all of those Easter eggs without being a developer from the game itself!! Thank you very much!
5:00 loved the warning "this one is hard to miss" heck, all of them are very well hidden
I stumbled upon the Fork Parker easter egg entirely by accident and got a heart attack, from the sudden hallway that appeared and his pitched voice saying "money"
WTF I missed so much
I only found the easter egg of the guy throwing money out of ALLLLL the easter eggs
I feel sad now
the only one i found was the glitched room which I fell by accident xD
Same, I feel like I missed half of the entire game!
Look at the poster of the game. That cat ending is the true ending!
that secret puzzle w/ the jetpack! i would have never seen this. thank you!
Excellent video, a puzzle game within a (already massive) puzzle game. Interesting references which require an additional level of detail and curiosity from the player to fully understand them. So there's actually at least three levels of detail, regular game, game within the game and the easter eggs
Thank you. I almost finished this game but have no motivation to find easter eggs or explore the world (besides all puzzles).
It's nice to know how much details they really hid right in front of our faces.
Really interesting video this. Thanks for the upload. Well done and concise. Im seriously impressed they managed to fit that many easter eggs into the game. I haphazardly encountered a few of them. But some of them are really obscure. I guess if you flew around the maps with no clip enabled you would find most of them by cheating. Then its just a case of figuring out the legit way of triggering them. I wonder if this is a definitive list? Could there be more?
9:21 Why is there a wheatley behind the trees for a second?
Where?
@@user-vr8qd4hk6y go to timestamp and set speed to .25%. When the camera is panning up to the top of the tree, there is a big wheatley that rises out from behind the right side of the tree, like the moon or something.
@@synthbent715ok, took me ages to notice it but I did it. I would say it's probably a render error, related to the thumbnail, it's identical to it
well done, high quality video :D
A nitpick, should have shown the jetpack in 3rd person!
11:30 you need only 3 jammers.
Put the 3. Near to the door to a mini gun. Now take the jammer that hack the minigun befor and use it 4 the door. Get in this room ( now u are behind the miniguns) and take the 3. jammer near the door for the next door. The minigun is now active but is out of your range. It works
15:00 wait that's illegal
I found the second snowman cause I thought that's how you were suppose to solve the puzzle - by jumping up to near the connector and interrupting it with your body. Completely ignored the other fan that existed lol
I found the first one on accident without knowing about it and it freaked me the hell out! I didn't realize they had this many easter eggs in the game, I have to do some backtracking now that I"m playing the game a second time! wow! Does the DLC have stuff like this too?
9:15 old serious sam winter theme :')
@16:14 Yes, that snowman play music too. The stone is by the ladder...
Do you know what the cat easter egg signifies? It's a play on "The spoon isn't real" therefore the charcter is still in a simulation.
I dont follow
@@ZyphLegendHow releasing cat in simulation ends up with cat after leaving? Obvious conclusion is that it is still a simulation.
@@user-vr8qd4hk6y Or one of the developers of Talos was a bit too fond of their cat and made a replica inside the simulation. Then he/she inevitably died and the cat remained in the IAN facility where you encounter it after waking up in the real world.
すごい!!猫を助けるとエンディングで猫を抱いているのが最高に素敵!!
In the first one with the head and the rocks, if you get a little farther away when you click on them you'll see the rocks talking to each other ! Pretty fun
Dzięki za polskie napisy!
SIEMANECZKO
Kapci: "Yes, it's a pickaxe from Minecraft"
Also Kapci: we can use this SWORD to reveal another easter egg
THATS A SWORD NUB
There is so much hidden in this game, it is insane. I never found most of this.
Wow, liked those easter eggs.
Excellently done
Still not all Easter Eggs. I know at least one more where there is a Drone from Portal lying around somewhere close to one of the puzzles in the desert. A very nice collection none the less.
P.S: Maybe that Portal Drone was in the DLC. Not sure.
Very nice! I found another of those telescopes that you look through once out of bounds, couldnt use it but didn't know you needed a key. I wonder what that was. Dont remember where
The huge head is in fact an Olmec head, you can find them scattered through some areas of Mexico, and they date back to an ancient prehispanic civilization, older than the Aztecs and Mayas. The only reference to The Swapper is due the color scheme! But pretty cool, nonetheless!
I happened to find this easter egg and it freaked me out! glad to see he had it on his list otherwise I would have been scarred
I think the reason that's an Olmec head specifically is likely because they already made that 3D model for a previous Serious Sam game.
At 3:35, the music is a reference to Superman. It has that same tone to it.
The cat ending had me in tears, tbh lol
At 18:00 that red smiley face is a reference to a show called The Mentalist.
Don't read this comment if you don't want any spoiler information but I'm guessing that if you're watching the easter egg video you're likely not too concerned or have already solved it.
The messanger ending was a bit of a letdown after the tower ending considering how much work it took to find and get all 30 stars. I was hoping that something interesting like Talos discovering a few of the humans in cryostasis or that The Shepard also gets uploaded into a robot body. Perhaps they were running out of steam or time to get the game out because even the last gray sigil world seemed like a rush job and was nowhere near as polished aesthetically as the rest of the game.
Don't get me wrong, fantastic game.
You mean the nexus sigil room thats not polished? "NEXUS" room in c bonus
I agree, quite a letdown
Thanks for making this : )
Today Friday 28th of September 2018 at 10:39 (Lisbon, Portugal) I can say how satisfying it is to look and see 168 Likes and 0 DISLIKES. End of Record.
Awsome! Great Thx!
4:40 I found this one but I thought it was just supposed to happen and you'd fall literally anywhere through the map if you were close to having all the stars.
Also the next one with the CFO enjoying money. They're the only two secrets that I found.
This feels like its part of the meta narrative of the game.. the theme of archiving all of humanity before it is erased forever..
0:46 if you step back they say jokes 😂
The red face from 17:55 it's a reference to "Red John", main antagonist from the TV show "The Mentalist".
I know, this video is aged, but...
9:05 That christmas music is originally from Serious Sam II: The second encounter (2nd part of the map "Land of the damned", where 4 kamikazes takes cannon and attack on Sam in valley)
Keep it going this one was awesome as well
14:46 it is not a pickaxe, it is a sword!
the second snowman in C-7 plays music too, the button is at the bottom of the ladder.
One of my favourites
AH WOW MAN! i found that hidden box place where u release the cat! by exploring the worlds! and today i went back and completed the alternative tower ending! haha and i got the cat ending i had no idea it was because of freeing that cat! out the box true easter egg hunt great game!!!
14:35 that's sword and maybe excalibur too
Ah we meet again Mr. Snow man
There's a place on the tower where you can scare away some pigeons..not sure if that's an easter egg but there are no other animals in the game (apart from the cat) so...
KnAvE I think that peagons and the ledge you are supposed to jump off over there is a reference to Assassin's Creed.
Any word on when the road to gehenna video is coming out? I want to see it!
You really only need the three jammers in the secret puzzle
And I thought I was the man for finding about 97% of the sigils without any help
17:39 the red face is a reference to the tv series The Mentalist, red john is a serial killer and he draws that face with his victims blood
The game must really enjoy Serious Sam.
16:09 There's a button close to the yellow stairs, just take it and put it on the snowman.
From the Tower level 4 or 5 there is an open window which leads to some girders sticking out from the concrete wall below. Some pigeons are sitting on one of the girders and fly away when you approach
YES THIS IS A PICAXE
Sorry? *COUGH* sword
I can imagine that some people rolled eyes and got annoyed with some of these easter eggs. They can be confusing especially if you don't get the reference and expecting them to be part of the core game. And most especially when some of them takes a lot more effort than most puzzles 😆 I personally was fine with them. They're fun though I did get annoyed a bit when I wasn't still not aware of the easter eggs and they did nothing 😅
I Like Ending Thats So Cool With Cat & Robot Good
What about the bob head at the top of the tower if you finish the tower solo, without help from Sheperd ?
You can get in the ice cave with just the 3 jammers, easily.
My man really called a Minecraft sword a pickaxe.
Well thats great bro keep it up 👏👌👍
9:15 at chrismas is great lol
Ah finally I see that the developer were fans of anime too. Steins Gate, nice.
Ingenuity=creativity=freedom=curiosity=joy
18:05 Pretty sure thats supposed to bet another portal reference, about the famout theory that real people are hidden inside the companion cubes.
So because he carries the cat out at the end, does this mean the android is still in the simulation!? Is this where the sequel will begin!??
the red face is the serial killer Red John's signature from the tv series the mentalist
19:35 Mission failed, we'll try again next time
Hello Mr. Snowman this snowman looks like Lenny's face!
3:35 tf2 soldier- god speed you magnificent bastard
The Watcher actually makes some jokes if you keep clicking the rocks to his side
Yeah, and funny ones ! A shame no one seem to have noticed it !
@@balmipour I did notice it. Actually found that secret myself. They made really good jokes.
I dunno how, but I accidentally fell into the glitched room and shit my pants xD
Are there numbers or writings on the wall at the ending with the cat?
I think the stone face is a reference to an Omlec statue
I thought this game was boring until i saw the easter eggs... this game is one big easter hunt... just like those several episodes of GMOD. XD
Love that Steins;Gate reference
Holy crap! I feel like they put in more time just making these than the actual game!
I love videos abount easter egges
I am braziliam my inglish is bad
Its ight
Ford Parker sounds like my Saints Row character
10:34 = - 2 x Jammers for the doors. Turets dont see you when you fly.
C3 - if you fly to the edge of the map with the jetpack, there's another easter egg
It's been a long time but I have a strong feeling some hidden objects weren't included in those two videos..
They worked so hard to hide a lot of content from players. Brilliant.
What is that thing that goes up at 21.27 - 21.29 at the top right of the screen?
I know im late but a lot of easter egg channels like to hide their OWN Easter eggs in videos so that's what it is.
