Hello dear, 1- Asian paints you can use . 2- The board can be prepared with acrylic putty. 3- for lippan art you have to have this kind of flexible clay .
I made this clay and its easy to work with but when i break it on my art work it doesn't break smoothly it has some fibers of tissue paper thus the edges are not smooth and it doesn't joint nicely.what can i do so the joints look good?

(1) 1 Part - paper pulp (you can use toilet tissue paper) (2) 2 parts - chalk powder. (3). 1part - wood Glue or PVA glue. Now mix them together and prepare a soft clay. If you feel clay is hard , mix some wood Glue or it is loose, mix some chalk powder . I hope it will help you.
