He has to let loose his zingers while he's still spry and tender like Canadian maple. A few more years and he'll be unable to complete Resident Evil 4.
Логан Кейн I don't understand the joke completely either, as is the case with many SBF jokes. Death Note is a good anime, I think it's just popular enough that you've either seen it or not seen it and have an opinion about it. I think there's a discussion about that joke on the reddit or something.
Deathnote is actually a very good anime, but it's one of those things where a lot of its fans are of the impression that everyone NEEDS to watch it. It just has a lot of very over-enthusiastic fans that think it's the best anime ever created, rather than simply being just another good one.
For all the people hating on Liam all the time and wishing he was gone, this is proof that you're factually wrong and incorrect six ways from Sunday and Liam is the absolute best.
I'm here because of Wool... nah I love these podcast highlights, I just finished listening to the one that puts together all the times they talked about the Jojo manga on the podcast
maybe you've never seen "That Guy" before in your life. you know the one person who's shocked that you haven't seen a show/movie before. plus the fact that Death Note is just a joke now
SeizureSaladDressing I have, and I got that part of it, I just don't get why it was so funny or why Matt was saying Death Note specifically was "the right one."
It's just one of the better examples of "thing that's okay or fairly good but all its fans seem to think it's a lot better than good and find it weird you're not into it like they are". It's not a 100% correlating example, but it would be kinda like if one of your friends was appalled that you hadn't yet played FNAF or Undertale, or never heard of it to begin with.
I haven't seen Death Note OR played Arkham Asylum. Come at me shitlords! OK real talk. I've read one volume of Death Note (tried about 10 years ago and again pretty recently) - couldn't get into it. I've also played an hour or two of Arkham Asylum - Kevin Conroy voicing gamey tutorial messages REALLY threw me off.
Try watching the anime, I think the OST, voice acting and animation really sells the scenes. As for Arkham Asylum, I think it comes down to preference, I loved it because it felt like a horror game except you're supposed to be the goddamn Batman, it makes no sense and I love it. The sequels delved away from that so I don't hold them as high as Aslylum.
Liam's paycheck status: Earned
Valkenhyne Big Bucks: Aquired.
Oh my god Matt just getting sandbagged right at the end is the cherry on top to Liam's comedy.
Sandbagged? I don't get it.
Anything that makes Pat lose his shit is the best
while he shakes his tiny limbs while laughing like the baby he is
Liam destroying the podcast with that young wit
He has to let loose his zingers while he's still spry and tender like Canadian maple. A few more years and he'll be unable to complete Resident Evil 4.
I haven't heard woolie and pat laugh this hard since parasite eve part 7
YEYEYEYE! THAT MOMENT WAS GREAT XD
Pat wasn't there for it, but the elaborately built-up game of Simon Says in the MMX: Command Mission LP also brought out the Hyena Within.
Jeedy Jay what part is that?? Not watching the LP, but need hyena laughter in my life rn.
RodTheClan Part 7, starting at about 19:50. I'm talking about the set-up, by the way. Stay tuned for a minute to enjoy the payoff.
every now and again liam just drops the BIGGEST FUCKING BOMBS
RIP Liam. We'll all miss you.
:,,,,(
.....and shit got worse
This one goes up there with "3/5 of a Friend"
Liam is secretly the best Best Friend.
It was a secret?!
pat*
ftfy
he holds back. he doesn't want to make the other look bad
Man, Liam got a critical hit on that one. I laughed as hard as they did.
+500% damage, no less.
I'm still a little lost. Is Deathnote supposed to be a mediocre or worse anime for teenage edgelords or something?
Логан Кейн I don't understand the joke completely either, as is the case with many SBF jokes. Death Note is a good anime, I think it's just popular enough that you've either seen it or not seen it and have an opinion about it.

I heard this on the podcast and I just new someone would immortalize that cacophony of hyena glory.
I love Woolies laugh
The hyena laugh is rare, but real.
#Fuccboivin
#birdSquad
#ShittyHashtags
#YouHaventSeenDeathNote
#YouHaventSeenDeathNote?!
You know shit just got real when the Woolie howl starts
I knew people would come here, I’m glad
For all the people hating on Liam all the time and wishing he was gone, this is proof that you're factually wrong and incorrect six ways from Sunday and Liam is the absolute best.
I still sometimes go and watch Liam sing Gargoyles, woo-oo. It's amazing and hearing Matt lose it just makes it more funnier
Jo 0910 Lords of shadow 2, skip about 21 min if you want
its just too bad those people got their wish :/
Well, well, well... Look how the turn tables.
Imma miss that fuckin anime boy.
Godspeed, young Liam.
SPOT ON
this is the funniest best friends moment ever
This is probably the funniest moment out of all the episodes. I can always come back to this and laugh every time.
He still hasn’t.
I remember asking for this. You have performed a great deed. Thank you.
What i wouldn't give to see the live version of this
I bursted out laughing on the bus when I heard this one. Liam is the best Best Friend
So funny, that when I heard it in the car, I was laughing so hard I nearly ran a red light
Easily top 3 Liam moments.
This might be the single best moment on the podcast.
Listen to pat and woolie's parasite eve play through. That's the laugh of all laughs. Also the snort is real.
2:38 *snort*
*snort snort*
I don't usually snort
Man, what happened to that animation of this moment? That artist totally dropped off the face of everywhere.
It doesn't even work, though, you all got excited over nothing
I'm here because of Wool... nah I love these podcast highlights, I just finished listening to the one that puts together all the times they talked about the Jojo manga on the podcast
Matt trying to get back in, tho’...
"you havent seen death note?!"
This is why Liam is my favourite.
BROTHER!!!!!!!!!
LIQUID!
Batmanvania.
Good one Liam, but still Woolie *play fucking Arkham Asylum*
I don't get why the death note thing is funny, someone explain pls.
I haven't seen Death Note and haven't played Arkham Asylum... I've played City and Knight, though.
k
YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED DEATH NOTE?!?!?!
Knifey McStab gtfo
I HAVE PLAYED ASYLUM. still haven't seen Death Note
I don't get the joke :/
maybe you've never seen "That Guy" before in your life.

Kektus I see, thanks dude
It's because Woolie is/was a huge death note fanboy. Possibly being pushy about it in the past
Wack

This is why they keep him around
