    Thanks for the videos!! We had major issues where we were online with Lippert Service and what they had us do ended up breaking a pin. Then, once we fixed the pin we tried to manually (the nut on the jacks) lower the jack and found the front right was binding. Ordered a new motor/gear box and reinstalled everything and all seems to be good now!! We like to sit a little nose down when running air conditioning so it runs off the front. In the process, we also ordered a new control pad since our Bounder is a 2007. It has been an ordeal and we are in our 70’s, so we really appreciated watching your videos!! Blessings on you.

    Hi Chuck and Cheryl. Liked the video although I don't have that brand of leveling system, but have thought about getting the snappads and levelmate pro. I bet you sell your house before me. We had to cancel our Branson, MO trip. We've had record breaking flooding here in Ft. Gibson, OK and the surrounding area. We are high enough to where we are not affected, but my daughter, son-in-law, and 4 year old grandson's home flooded and they have moved in with us. I'm just thankful we're able to do it. It's been over a week and they still haven't been able to get to their house. They probably lost pretty much everything. The donations businesses are providing for those affected have been amazing. Everyone is safe and that's the main thing.

      Hi Carl! We are so sorry for you guys and your family. We heard on the news about the terrible weather out your way, thankfully everyone in your family is alright. Possessions can be replaced, lives can't. Mother Nature can be cruel at times. We really hope everything get back to at least somewhat normal for all of you soon.
      We love the Level mate pro and the RV SnapPads. Cheryl was always the one who got out to guide me in and trying to find the levelest spot, then crawling under to put the blocks under the jack pads. Now she knows the levelest spot using the app and the SnapPads have eliminated the need for the blocks. Anything that make setup and breakdown easier is something we want. LOL

      Thanks, I appreciate that. We did stay in the Jayco a few days while the electricity was out. Sure glad it has a generator. Thank you for your video. We are newbies to class a. I have been wanting to try manually leveling our rig.
    However we have just been using aito level. 99% of our campsites (so far) are pretty close to being level. I must be doing something wrong when we get ready to leave. I start Stormy to run in the slide first but she drops 🤔 what am I doing wrong?
    I am afraid this can not be good for the slide?
    After watching this video I am wondering if I did not shut the level off. Should I shut it off while the engine is still running?

    • @GetGonewithUS
      @GetGonewithUS  2 месяца назад

      Do you have the parking brake engaged? Not sure what rig you have, but if our parking brake was not engaged and we tried to start the rig, the levelers would automatically go up. It is a safety feature to make sure yopu don't try to drive off with the levelers down.We never started the engine to bring the slides in. The slides are bought in first, then start the engine and bring up the levelers. Check your owners manual for what procedure you should be doing for you slides and levelers.

It will always feel like a sudden drop with hydraulic levelers, but it is best if the wheels are on a solid surface or blocks first. 😀 When using LevelMate Pro if we can't get within 5" of being level on all the tires, we put wheel blocks under the tires that are more than 5" off. We never use AUTO, we prefer to manually level using LevelMate Pro. There is a link to it in the description Box under the video. We have another video on the channel that shows to calibrate the leveling system, in case yours is out of sync (Power Gear Levelers). The link to that is also in the description box below the video.

      @@GetGonewithUS thanks for the clear and quick answer!! And to confirm, if you’re over 5” on your levelmate you’ll drive up onto the blocks, right? Like it’s not that you’re leveling till the wheels are off the ground and the you’re sliding the blocks under the tires right haha? I’ll check out your recalibration video too, thanks!!!

    Thanks for your great video. I have a problem in the bedroom in the back. The head board is the in slider, and i noticed the large tile has slipped down about 7 inches and it felt wet. I believe tge moisture caused the glue not to hold, this has caused the night stand to be too tight and has the night stand to not be level, how do I get access to the tile to bring it back up where it belongs. Or where can I get my question answered. I would appreciate any help. And even it any of your subscribers have had this happen I will fix the leak for sure.

I would try to post a picture or two also showing the problem. The more info you can give the better chance you have of someone knowing what your issue is. Good Luck. 😀

    We have the same system on our diesel pusher, but can't figure out how to just retract one jack at a time?? It seems like the only choice on a retraction is to retract all of them, and then you have to start all over again.

    It seems when we use the automatic leveler, the rig gets level but sits a few inches too high. Is this a common issue when you use the automatic leveler?

    • @GetGonewithUS
      @GetGonewithUS  3 года назад +1

      Hi Mike. If by 'too high' you mean you have tires off the ground, it could be the site it really off being level or the AUTO setting needs to be recalibrated. Easiest way to check if your AUTO is off, is to level it then check it with a bubble level. If the site is off level, (which we have run into quite a few times) you need to use blocks under your tires. We use Levelmate Pro and if we are off more than 5" on any tire we put blocks under it first, before leveling. We do have a video on how to calibrate the Power Gear Levelers that we have Link to Levelmate Pro... amzn.to/2JcpCIx Link to How to recalibrate levers... ruclips.net/video/P34LJLlcnAw/видео.html

    Excellent video. I have exactly everything you have. But it never goes that easy for me.
    Sometimes my low voltage light goes on I've checked my batteries I know they're good. Doesn't seem to affect the performance. And sometimes when I make a turn driving with the level system off all the lights are flashing and beep for a few seconds. I've checked the manual it says hydraulic oil level could be low. levels are good. Thanks again for your video

    • @GetGonewithUS
      @GetGonewithUS  5 лет назад

      Thank you! Sorry to hear you are having problems with your system. How old are your batteries? We were getting the low voltage warnings too. We got a hold of the company and they told us that the batteries have to already have a strong charge in them before you can operate the levelers, even though the engine is running. After testing both of our batteries, we were told one of them was a tad bit on the weak side, so we changed them both out and have not had that problem since.

    Maybe I missed it, what do you do if the parking spot is a little more out of level that the levelers can handle? I guess front to back might be more common in mountain type areas. I really enjoyed video and hope to buy a class C with level system installed.

      Hi Ronald. Levelers are not the cure all to every situation. You still need to carry leveling blocks to put under the tires if the site you are in is way out of being level. Thankfully that doesn't happen too often. As long as our LevelMate Pro says each corner of the RV is 5" or less from being level, we use just the levers. Hope that helps.

    Great information on auto. & man. leveling vid. Sure you have many OJT tips & tricks. I fully understand the need for leveling our Greyhawk 26y. By your recommend using RV snap pads (awesome).. I practice allot with Auto & Man. Trying to develop optional "self-only" methods to overcome ground issues that are unexpected and unforgiving. My most puzzling issue is when trying to get RV level and my tires go off ground and cause jacks to max out extension. I started using bubble level, then carpenters level, now have a electronic digital cross. Next trials will use cell leveling app that can give height & angle values to compare and verify RV level controller. I will initial manual level, then put level pads under tires to meet ground height and wedge to anti-roll. Then finalize with fine tune level ... What do you think? Do you have any suggestions to help me? I am surprised that mfg level ok with side-side @ 3deg & front to rear @ 6deg but RV low point level lites remain on. Can still see slope on outside box too.

    • @GetGonewithUS
      @GetGonewithUS  4 года назад

      Hi Milton. Your best bet is to get a LevelMate Pro (link is in the description block below the video). When we get to a site, Cheryl guides me in and using the app for LevelMate Pro on her phone. She is able to see where we are the closest to being level on her phone and that's where we park the rig. Usually for anything over 5" off we use wheel blocks and leveler blocks if necessary. We never try to wedge anything under the tires or levelers. The LevelMate Pro tells us how far off each tire from being level. For example if it's 6", we'll put probably one or 2 rows under the tire that is off and let the levelers make up the difference. That's how we level. Safe Travels. 😀
