Thanks for update. I bought my wife same car in end of September 23. Took a bit to learn how to use it, but love the 6 cylinder. There should be videos out there on how to reset the folding mirrors . I hate run flats but will wait until I get some miles out of them before switching tires to Michelin. Enjoy your ride!
Thanks for your feedback. Yes this 6 cylinder engine is very joyful. Highly recommend replacing run-flats. I made a whole video just on my experience before and after replacing run-flats. If you bought the car and planning to keep it then, maybe you can switch out in a bit, but if it's a lease you can do it now, so that you can put the other tires back before the lease end. Run-flats also can wear much faster than regular tires. Anyway I hope your wife enjoys the car.
The "crack" was from an object like a rock hitting your windshield. You must have had the radio volume cranked up to max not to hear the impact. This obviously would not be covered under warranty.
thanks for the input. I was driving on the freeway without a music. I did hear a very loud pop in the windshield. Didn't see a rock but would not deny it. Great video! I do believe the issues you're having with the sunroof are a result of the torque factor with your impressive engine. The new interior design of the x5 with the big screen, no buttons is a huge downgrade.
Looks and feels very cheap and lacks alot of character.
100% agree. This is what I am trying to say in my videos. I only find it to be OK in electric cars, but in gasoline cars like X5 it does look kind of cheap, quick and easy solution. I was hoping BMW wouldn't get into this game, but they did.
Bro stop lying to yourself you know what happened to the windshield and it has nothing to do with BMW. Customer inst always right and this shouldn't have even been included in your review. For that you get a thumbs down...

thanks for the feedback. I just wanted to share my observations with this vehicle, overall I am very happy as I don't find any more issues and whatever was there got fully resolved. I will be making soon 20K miles ownership experience video.
Our bmw dealer in Japan is great about warranty issues. However, my dealer here in the US is not so good. I’m looking at Audi now. I’m sick of the bmw dealers in the US. The Service department is terrible. I’m hoping Audi will be better 🤷🏼♀️
Thanks for the feedback. I didn't have any issues with BMW customer service in particular. Before this X3 I had 430i M Sport Convertible and that car had 0 issues. But with X3 I noticed they were not taking sunroof rattle issue seriously.
As for Audi make sure to do your research. They have many Lemons. I have a friend who got Audi Q5 same time I got X3 and they already Lemoned it for check engine issues. Also many Audi GT cars are lemons. So not sure if what Audi's reliability is like, for lease I think should be fine for sure.
In Poland, Audi and BMW don't give a damn about people, only Lexus and Toyota maintain a high level
I can’t even get a damn dealership to call me back on an offer I was told tonight the sales guy would call me back within 1/2 hour and I got ignored. 😂 FK EM
