Buddy, the pure joy and love that is wrapped up in this set is just off the chart. I love the smiles and interpretations... I love everything about this.
@@candersonll saturation can give a dirty or raspy element to certain instruments, but the ears hear it as just being more present, slightly less clean. I'm not a pro, but if you google "mixing with saturation" there are some awesome videos that explain it more clearly with examples!
That was one of the best in my opinion..! It did feel a bit like Let It Be Naked at times with no backing vocals, really fun to listen to...! Thank you!!!
Earthtones is an incredible album and this performance is as solid as the album! It needs a re-release on vinyl because I can't find a copy anywhere! Come on, Afie. Hook us up!
I heard you on the radio before but I had no idea there was this much to love... Favorite episode is the first one with unit 400, (making a point to investigate them!) and then the teskey brothers, and then the session players Brings to mind Paul Simon and Randy Newman
Either there's something wrong with the gain staging on my listening rig, or the levels were too hot on the recording side. A bit too much distortion and compression on this one I think
I think it might be intensional. That and a lot of elements of the kit are kinda trashy sounding, like the hi-hat with the chain on it. To me as a drummer, the kit sounds like it looks.

"Wisdom of the world " is like a modern day "a day in the life" I love it. Idk im also blazed
Came for the music. Looking for the hat. Stayed for the mustache!

Fun stuff! Can't help but doing the head-bob...
The saturation on the kick and bass guitar in the first song bring me life. As do Afie’s guitar runs.
Explain saturation more because I loved the tone as well

@@candersonll with the kick and bass, it specifically lets you hear the front end of the note, which shows off these musician's awesome timing.
