Cycling gloves (looks as though these are), have padding in the palms. This is great when you have to grip something thin (like some steering wheels). Then having the fingertips exposed means great feel. I think that they are great for driving. Also good for typing on computers when you are cold. Captain Sergei is a very smart guy!!
Hey Sergei! I'm moving oversize load in quebec and what they ask is a amber 360° strobe that have to be at 1.5m higher of the ground! However, we got a couple of load king trailers with those 4" amber lights on the rear end and they tolerate them too. Just letting you know🤟
Hey Sergei !!! Thanks for the ride again !!! When they used the ""RAND McNally "" Household Movers guide in the past ,,you always added 10% to the mileage as they only allowed mileage between ""POST OFFICES "" !! Have a good run to the ""VOLVO"" Dealer !! ""KEEP IT SAFE ""!!
Admiral Sergei...I live in Ottawa and frequently drive on the Quebec side...trust me when I say that the 105 is not passible with a truck as big as yours...you would be dragging trailer tires through the ditch all the way along.
@ Mike Mitchell You’re so full of shit, there’s loads as long as Sergei’s that go by regularly and there trailer tires don’t drag through ditches all along. You probably have a hard time driving a wheelbarrow in your driveway!
Great vlog as per always Captain. I will pull you up on one comment. Racing drivers wear gloves as with the rest of their overalls and boots It's all fireproof. Stay safe and keep all those wheels turning.
I was watching another trucker talking about using a “truckers gps” and along with the maps, etc., it had a TON of info just for truckers. Did you ever use one of these? Heh.. then you mention “internet-enabled navigation device” and I recalled that this truckers GPS also connected (via Bluetooth) to a smart phone for all the updated info…
That is so dumb, I live on the 105 in Kazabazua and there's oversize loads often. That was a big detour for absolutely nothing. 117 and 105 is same type of highway.
@@HHTV60 There’s huge loads that travel on the 105 but with escort. You would of been fine except for North exit of Wakefield where it’s narrow for about half a kilometre. Passable but road would have needed to be closed for you to go for that half a kilometre. Cheers!
Family with the kid on the sidewalk took a picture of your load (at 3:01), he was thrilled to see it.
Beautiful area. Thanks

Nice to see you in Québec 😀
Thanks for stopping by to say 'Hello' ;) Please make sure your tires are properly inflated ;)

I knew things were getting serious as soon as the Capt. put on the driving gloves. Stay safe Sergei

Saw you on 416 heading North into Ottawa. Looking good driver!

Take your socks off.
Should have went north in Ontario then east near New liskard on.
that's how I came back!
Oh hey.. you were here in Ottawa.. where they route trucks thru downtown.. cos politicians are soooo good at planning things.
5:26 Take your rate per mile and treble it for deliveries to Quebec.
Hwy 105 is not designed for trucks. The speed limit ranges from 50-90 km/h it goes thru many small towns and cottage country.
let's go 'round that map one mo' time the otha' way 'round, ..i gotta get undizzy...
Buen Camino
Mornin Capt Sergei
One of your fellow truckers uses TRUCKERS PATH and raves about it
Your destination , Val-d'Or or Valley of Gold , so this time they will pay you GOD , gold on delivery ;)
12:16 .... Viva Quebec?? Your French or rather Quebecois is perfect, apart from a slight Spanish accent.

Is Quebec an option for retirement to you, uncle Sergei? can't beat the food.
I left my 'valenki' in Russia. Cannot retire to a place where it gets to -50C in Winter ;)
B
The truck route through Ottawa to the bridge is terrible! They could not have made it more difficult!

Hah! Another guy just left a comment saying 105 was NOT passable for big trucks.
