- It all came down to the last lap of the Eifel Grand Prix for Max Verstappen to strike for that extra point! Leader Lewis Hamilton was holding the DHL Fastest Lap Award until the flying Dutchman produced this on his way to P2

Start the Clip before the Lap actually begins, this gives time for an introduction to the lap and the circumstances around it. Then when he is in the last turn you say "let's have a look" "enjoy" or what ever, and leave us with the awesome lap and sound.

Back here after Max’s stellar 2021 season and now that he is a champion! He is the reason I got back to watching F1
in my opinion Nürburgring GP aged so well for modern F1 cars with high downforce and DRS. one of the best tracks should be in the calendar

It's hard for Lewis to admit that Max is the only non-Mercedes driver who can keep up with him. It's not just RedBull.
It's just a politically correct answer from Lewis. On more than one occasion he made it pretty clear he only considers Max and Vettel to be his closest competitors, and nobody else.
If max was given that merc he can easily beat hamilton no doubt.... Max is at his max

I've been watching f1 since 2008. Is so ridiculous to see Bottas in front of Riccardo on the championship table. For me, F1 has THE chance to survive in 2022. If this Mercedes cup continuos, a lot of guys will stop to whatch this unfair competition. Hamilton is not proving he is the best, he is only proving that's he is better than Bottas.

1 Thing that also buggs me is that Russel has to wait ANOTHER year in that Williams while he obviosuly shouldve been in that 2nd seat next year. But i understand that Lewis getting 8x WC in a Merc is also very important. Theres no reason to put a potentionally faster driver next to him since Merc is so much faster then the 2nd team anyway.

People forget that Hamilton won 21 Grand Prix before joining Mercedes and has remarkably won a race, every year for the last 14 years. He’s worst year was 2013, when he only won one race, with Mercedes...at the time, many criticized him for leaving McLaren and joining Mercedes as it was struggling but he joined it and after the struggles of 2013, turned it around big time. He’s definitely a great and the greatest of his era!!
Joost that’s your opinion, the facts tell a different story as evidenced by many things including the fact that he beat one of the best (Alonso) in his F1 rookie season. Phenomenal, and, together with his team, took Mercedes to new heights

@@prashantgurung2635 Verstappen is the best driver in the grid. That does not mean verstappen & redbull is the best car-driver combination, because obviously that is hamilton & mercedes. It's the car-driver combination that wins titles, not just the driver. Also in general a high victory-pole ratio means the driver is outperforming the car, while a low pole-victory ratio means the car is outperforming the driver.
