Howdy! If you come across this video do me a favor and reply to this comment and tell me what could I have done in this video to catch your attention better. is the thumbnail bad? is the title crap? is the content dry or not to your liking? Let me know in response to this comment. Id love to hear from anyone that watches flight sim content what your opinion is
I enjoyed that, but personally I would ditch the background music. Everyone does it and there is really no need. The content and delivery of it was good. You also sound like a natural.
@@flip-da-loop I appreciate the feedback! I added the music because I felt like it was a little dry without it but if you think it could do without, the next time I upload ill leave it without music and see how it goes. Also thanks for that compliment! I practiced quite a bit actually lol didn't wanna sound awkward and have a million "uhm's" in it
Really disappoined that PMDG still doesn't have a performance calculator already built into the FMC, so thank you for this video. It seems to be the easiest one to use out of the other videos I've watched.
Yeah it really is a shame but as far as I know they are still working on it so soon! And thank you for the compliment :) the program looks a little different these days so i've been debating making a new one but i'm glad this is still helpful!
@@youremperor7693 If you do, would you mind adding the fact that you can also download the winds for the plane, and what folder to put it in? I figured this out after the video. Very nice to be able to click a button in the FMC to load in the DEC page!
@@therealpoody7485 Yeah I don't see why not. Thats actually a pretty good idea honestly haha Thank you! If I do make that video, I wont be for a bit though as I have alot going on in my life right now (Hence why its taken mee way too long to upload again) But I will keep that in mind :)
So as it turns out, just this morning, Robert over at PMDG posted an update on their forums saying that the EFB finally has a release date and it sounds like it’ll be within the next couple weeks (that is my assumption, he didn’t publically announce the date yet). He says they are “working on some preview material” and that when that releases, that’s when we’ll know the release date :)
Thanks for the video. But when I try to download the toolbox via the link you have provided, what it downloads is 17.3 patch and not the toolbox itself I guess, there are only "lib" and "manual" files in the downloaded folder. Is there another way to download it? Thanks again.
Once you got to the google drive for the tool, did you download the one that says "Windows"? if not, go back to the page via the link, log in to the forums, hit the download button and when it takes you to the google drive download the one title Windows. that should give you the full program up to its current version
ive been looking for a tool to do calculations for the pmdg 737-800 and its a shame this one doesn't have fuel data, cause I feel like thats pretty important for programming the fmc and for weight and balance calculations.
Yeah it is a shame that it doesn't have those features. id like them too. however with what it does offer and for free, I think its a great tool to use at least until PMDG releases their EFB
