This game will always be a classic in my book. It’s story is engaging and action packed, the bosses are MASSIVE, and overall it flows very well. The weaponry is a joy to use; I always find myself wanting to test every weapon’s secondary fire. Also a big thing-this game’s graphics were ahead of its time. I always appreciated the little details like the water effects and how your character climbed stairs like you would climb stairs in real life. The only thing I would’ve wanted was the campaign to be co-op. The online co-op always felt underwhelming. Overall a fantastic game.

Few games have ever come as close as this moment when it comes to evoking complete horror and despair at the same time. An genuine feeling of witnessing "a slow, bitter end."

I always wonder if this whole thing was a Russian expirement gone wrong, an Alien ship containing the virus crashed, or this just came out of no where. It really never told us what happened in Russian that caused this.
@@lekatte nah if I remember the story correctly, it was a virus sent from the chimera to reclaim back earth. That's why in the 2nd gamed daedalus said this land was first ours.

The first game was compared to the Call of Duty franchise alot, and when Modern Warfare came out in 2007 and made BIG waves, they probably decided that it was sink or swim with this one in 2008 and felt the ww2 stylings would get called out as overdone in the face of new fresh visuals. this has been your esoteric wiki dump of the day. im sorry.
they didn't cause they never expect it to sell at the time resistance fought with halo and fail miserablely in console war(360 vsps3) if compare to FPS this gen it will cost a lot if remaster masterfully but got backlash if port it poorly ....so better not do anything about it and also it's in PS3(CPU focus type) which require lot of work if you want to port to PS4 (PC type GPU focus)cause different tech architech. but it possible to move it to PS5 though cause i think CPU next gen will be good enough as PS3(at the time ps3 8core which PS5 also 8 core)

(I happen to have onther video to play besides this and that one works smoothly, so I have to asume the problem, if any, is in this video) Edit: after watching a bit further into the video, I can see that the out-of-synch audio problem happnes only during the cinematic parts

Wouldn't it be cool if these guys made a survival game where you are in a prequel time during the russian war against the chimera. Like you are a member of the red army and then have to survive their version of the 7hr war.
never played mass effect but trust me once you were into the story of the series you would love it . There were plenty of games with shitty graphics or gameplay but ffin good stories .

Too bad. The online co-op campaigns were my shit. Finding reliable team members of different classes was the trick though.

Yeah, a PS5 remaster trilogy would be awesome. Especially with Resistance 3, that 3D stereo gimmick of 2011 made alot of games drop resolution.
