- Season 04, Episode 100 (day twelve): the 100th episode of season 04 brings us to opening weekend at breckenridge ski resort! we were unable to make breckenridge opening day, but still managed to catch all the good vibes of opening weekend! super rad to be apart of this again and enjoy another beautiful day in the high alpine!

Feels like just yesterday we were pulling into the lot for A Basin opening day - crazy that our Colorado trip is coming to a close!

Channeling some Candide jumping over those moguls and straight lining them lol and what you said of Breck opening day/condition/crowd just about sums up Breck, even when everything is open and conditions are perfect. But the day looked like a nice bluebird day and the new goggle combo is 🔥 Breck main street would’ve been a perfect place for Tara to roam around and shop/eat/drink coffee for the day so I hope you dropped her off to do that while u skied

So I ski breck every year, and the fact that you hit 46mph on springmeyer and 4 Oclock is pretty darn good. Your skis must be like 184s :)
I was taking it easy. Coulda went a lot faster. They are 188cm and 106mm width - not all about the skis tho!

Hopefully there will be a ton of snow soon. Breck is my favorite village to stay in in CO. Keystone is still my fave because night skiing. Lucas have you ever considered road tripping to Japan. The Pow there is supposed to be outrageous. I lived in Europe, Germany, 13 years. Alps are so cool, glaciers in summer, etc. But never Japan. But video I've seen is crazy!
I would love to check out Japan some day. Very small chance we go this year!

You ought to come out to Japan this season for some of the japow. Hit up Rusutsu (or Niseko if you don’t mind crowds) in Hokkaido. Some of the best powder and tree skiing, way better than anything in Utah 🌨️🌨️
Can’t really afford it at the moment but would love to if an opportunity came up. Heard it’s not very steep though !
Yeah plane tickets aren’t exactly cheap, just gotta use those credit card points. Most of the terrain is mellow (some steep stuff here and there), but the real appeal (for a place like Rusutsu) is being able to ski anywhere off-piste making new lines every time with freshies and ending at a lift
Can we see you somewhere like the alps this year would be a couple good vids i definitely love to see!

Out of all the many places I have skied, Breckenridge I am least impressed with. Every, unless you really seek them, run... the same pitch, width and length. Lift lines. $$$$.
Really hope you hit Loveland. Now there is a true, non commercial, ski area (not resort 😂).

There are a ton of people on those runs.. From 10am on any day.. I gave er when I had space and hit the brakes when I was around the masses..
I don't like that they have all the lines in the same place for those 3 chairs on the bottom.. I thought I was going to have to wait in line just to leave;) I think the middle chair should have the line in the middle.. The right chair should have the line on the right and the left chair should have the line on the left..

Yes absolutely! Never had a season more than 100 episodes and I’d assume we are probably on track for about 30-40 more episodes before the end of the year!
