    Happy about the bike the way it is just a well fitted bike and comfortable to ride. I feel really cool on it. It just sticks out there. From the day I seen it , I told my self I got to have one. It’s Honda and dependable . A great cruiser bike. Love it.

      Well said! They're great machines. Very reliable. Very cool. It definitely "sticks out", but the fact everyone smiles when they see it and all the kids wave and get excited makes it kind of worth it. It's not fun in a sporty way, it's fun in a social way. I don't know if I could commute in it to work and back 9-5 in traffic every day, but as an evening and weekend machine, definitely enjoyable.

    I have a stateline, which is pretty much the fury with a few minor differences and different wheel sizes. I absolutely LOVE IT, has cobra pipes on it, a tuner, thing rides like a dream and everywhere I go I get the "whoa, what is that bike??? it looks so nice, is it custom??" NOPE, just a stateline. Also I took it on the tail of the dragon, the pipes dragged a little but, I had ZERO issues in the turns with this long bike. Love these bikes from honda, incredibly well balanced straight from the factory.

      Beautiful looking bikes. Comparing it to the Valkyrie you might be surprised though. The wheelbase on the fury is only about 10 cm longer, not a big difference over your bike, center of gravity is lower on the fury, and it weighs 10% less... Handling might be a closer than you think. Power is definitely in the Valkyrie's favor. That thing is an absolute beast!

It wouldn't hurt if my handle bars where 1-2 inch longer. Mine will launch put of the hole just as if not faster than a Milwaukee 8 but after 3rd gear they kinda fall on there face but 0-60 damn she's fun they will cut off around 96mph honesty you probably don't want to go any faster around here the roads are terrible

    About it being a beginner bike , I seen alot say it's good beginner bike for Big guys. I'm about 6"1 300~ lbs, I just won't fit on a rebel 300 or something like that. I did sit on one and felt comfortable with the position although it did feel a bit heavy straddling it , but this was not moving. I did sit on a Vulcan S , I felt more comfortable with the weight, but thought it was maybe a little small (I do know you can change the positions on thes bikes but don't know where this one was) , are there any other cruisers that maybe have the seating of the Fury but more the weight of the Vulcan S ? Or would I be able to get used to the weight?
    Thanks for any help!

    • @YouMotorcycle
      @YouMotorcycle  3 года назад +1

      I definitely wouldn't consider this a beginner bike in the same way I wouldn't consider a truck a great beginner four wheeled vehicle. Sure, you could learn to drive, change lanes, and park in a truck, but it's going to be a lot easier to learn on something smaller for your first season riding, and upgrade to what you really want after that.
      I think if you pick the right first bike, it won't be your last bike, so you can get what you want later, but if you pick the wrong first bike, it could be your last bike. If comfort was the first priority of motorcycle riding, we would be in our four wheeled vehicles with temperature controls, plush seats, and protection from the weather.
      Vulcan S should have seats of different heights, so you might be able to get a thicker seat which would give you another 1" or more of seat height to help you stretch your legs. I can't remember for sure, but I think they also had peg and control adjustment options as well, so you could put your feet more forward to stretch out more as well.
      Find something okay for your size, you might look like a bear on a tricycle in the circus for your first season, and then you'll upgrade, and when you get the bike you really want it won't be all banged to heck because you made a beginner mistake on something that was too big and awkward, it'll look nice and fresh, and everyone will forget about the little thing you had before.
      Trust me, I started on a 50cc scooter lol

    Ride aggressively. LOL that's funny on a Fury. But you would be very hard pressed to find a "chopper" that drives as good as the Honda. It really is that good. • @Sassquootchen
    @Sassquootchen Год назад

    I've never owned a motorcycle because the area I have lived my whole life is pretty dangerous for riding because of other drivers but I'm moving somewhere that it will be much safer, everything I've bought I've payed cash in hand for so I don't have much of a credit score and thought buying a bike would be a way to boost my credit even though I could buy the bike outright. I am dead set on a Honda Fury but I've heard many people say the same thing that it's a middle of the road for being beginner friendly and not. But should I really not buy it and get something smaller? I am 6 foot, 200 pounds if that matters but I don't really like the idea of having to pay around $7,000 for something that I don't want but if it's the difference between Destroying the bike/breaking my body, compared to not doing that I would rather be safe than sorry.

    • @YouMotorcycle
      @YouMotorcycle  Год назад

      I would ask on financial help forums, but from my understanding, using your credit card for small purchases regularly (and then paying it in full right away) will do a lot more for your credit than making a solitary big ticket purchase. Again, finances are kind of out of my scope, but this is what I've always been told so it's what I go by. Personally I haven't bought a new vehicle in 13 years and don't plan on changing that any time soon.
      On to the main part of your question. I don't think this is a beginner friendly motorcycle at all. Much like you probably wouldn't want your first car to be a 24 seater bus. Why make things harder than it has to be? If you get the right first motorcycle, it'll be your first motorcycle. If you get the wrong first motorcycle, it could be your first and last motorcycle because you won't find riding as enjoyable as you otherwise might... or worse.
      Take your time, stay cautious, and keep asking questions and gathering information. I think you're off to a great start.

    I think the Honda engineers built this bike, to compete in the category with the Yamaha Midnight, also with 1300 cm3. By the way very comfortable to travel alone. It is a little uncomfortable for the girlfriend or companion in that thin seat and with a thin foam layer at the end. With almost 57.5 horsepower and very good torque at low speed, 2250 rpm producing 1091 kilograms of force per centimeter, or from the center of the flywheel collars to the center of the connecting rod collars. Very good for cruising on long journeys, without straining the engine with a lot of economy I presume. The soft, pleasant snoring translates to good potency. Low barycenter, good balance. You can't overdo the curves. It was great to have gone for a walk. I thank you and wish you a happy passage to the next and very uncertain 2021. I could see that one of the companions, Mr. Skuf McGruff, prepared the engine with power to ride on the roads flying low with his 74.27 HP and 1184 kgf per centimeter. When he gets close, get out as soon as possible.

      Don't bother continuing to look for a problem until you start with basic maintenance. Old oil will do that. Even if not used, old oil will get moisture and other contaminants in it, and your bike won't shift as smoothly. Watch my video on how to change the oil and filter yourself. It shows you how to do it exactly as it says in the factory service manual. If that doesn't work, let me know, but 4 out of 5 times basic maintenance is the fix ruclips.net/video/lBVIx3BMT-E/видео.html

    if honda modified the display they could easily have a tachometer on there and a gas gauge wouldn't hurt either that's my only gripe and that newer models only come in yellow id imagine once you got to know the bike you wouldn't need a tach,but still it wouldn't hurt. How is it for vision cause to me the seat looks low that i wouldn't be able to see over the handle bar and im 5'9 and i dont want to buy a bike where i cant see whats in front of me that's just asking for an early forever coffin sleep

    • @YouMotorcycle

      The thing is, if they started adding a tacho, fuel gauge, etc. the whole point of a minimalist, wannabe chopper would be thrown out the window. The Fury was not meant to ride aggressively. It is a cruiser. To me a 2016 or older Honda Rebel 250 is a beginner friendly bike, and what all true beginners should be starting off on. I think all beginners should spend at least 2 years on a Rebel 250 type bike before going up to something bigger. I don't think ANYONE should ever get a crotch rocket for street use. Keep those on the track. While not very powerful, the Fury is simply to big and heavy for someone who has never ridden a motorcycle before. I have a 1989 Harley FXRS Low Rider, and am considering getting a Fury for longer distance riding. It's nowhere near as fun to ride as the Harley, because it lacks the Harley's feel and sound. But it should be more reliable out on the open road.

    How silly! A "gentleman's chopper" is the very antithesis of what a chopper is supposed to be about.
