Band Maid is destined for far greater things, so happy for everyone who had a chance to see them
they were so good
17:50 Band-Maid 🎊🎊🤘🤘
Band-Maid is awesome!
Was very proud I was able to be a part of the "JUMP THE FUCK UP" moment from Slipknot!
Yesss!!
Awesome🤘🤘🤘
BAND MAID pure fire. 🤘🤘🤘
Band Maid was awesome... great to see them at the big festivals...
Band-Maid put on a great show.
@ViewFromTheCheapSeats if you ever get a chance to see one of there solo shows...do it. Seen a few and they seriously are amazing
Baaand-Maaaid!! ❤🤘🤘🤘
From Japan Thank you! I enjoyed watching the American rock festival.
BAND-MAID will participate in American rock festivals three times in May and once in August this year. How is it popular in America? They are planning to have 15,000 people live in Japan at their first arena concert in November this year.
I think Band-Maid is well received here, but flying under the radar a bit. They had a good sized crowd for their set at Rockville.
Good to see you caught my favourite band - Band Maid
Thank you so much for recording again this year! Couldn’t make it this year, so it’s great to live it vicariously!
Thank you for watching!
Saw Rob at Ozzfest he’s good.
I was there, had a great time, brought back memories.

Wonderful, so glad you got to see best rock band, Band-Maid. Kudos from Brazil
I remember watching your vids from Rockville last year. Good job putting this out there and sharing your experience.
Thank you!
I had an awesome time this year for Rockville. Amy Lee with Evanesence was phenomenal. That woman has the voice of an angel. I got the rail Saturday at Space Zebra for Alice Cooper and Pantera, then I got the rail Sunday at Octane for Pennywise, Coheed & Cambria and the Deftones. I met Dean Zelinsky, founder of Dean Guitars. Insane festival this year. Can't wait for next year.
Very cool!
Band maid is amazing
It's too bad Rob Zombie was having technical difficulties, he is my all time favorite.. I grew up in the same town as he did and went to the same high school, he graduated in 1983 and I started in the fall of 1983. Hope the rest of Rockville was awesome. It always seems Rockville is right around the time our rainy season starts because hurricane season is right around the corner.
Zombie was having a fit about the technical issues, but I don't blame him. The crew had a long time to have everything set up. He still put on a great show.
He might not be welcomed back ever again to rockville. He got trashed and covered his bathroom with vomit and feces
He is a good song writer,, but is horrible live. He can NEVER sing well. I still haven't heard ONE show where he sounded good. It was the same thing with White Zombie. At least he had an excuse this time.
@@ChazinFl1 Ya , like early White Zombie, original band lineup but, yeah... personally not a big RZ fan and this is partly why.
Sht happens, don't be a beeeotch
@@ChazinFl1 I saw him on the freaks on parade tour last year and thought he was great….but I was very disappointed in his performance of dragula
Broke my nose in the mosh at rob zombie but it was one of my favorite shows of the week!
Oh no! I hope you feel better!
My glasses were broken and kicked in the head so many times at the last Carolina Rebellion I attended. Never getting close to the rails again😂. 3 hr drive home blind was not fun whatsoever😅
Glad to see this is back! I Went the year of Korn/ Avenged Sevenfold did their headline. 2012? 2014? I remember the rain!! That was intense. Such a great lineup. Now I Don't knw anyone. I've seen Rob Zombie and I heard of Slipknot but all the rest, no clue. Awesome video! They all sounded amazing. You guys rock for doing this and very nice edits!
Thank you!
Looked awesome 🤘 thank you for sharing! 😊
Great weekend. Been to the last 5 myself. Crowd was definitely a lot larger than than the last year. I Agree that the biggest disappointment was the entitled attitude of showing up to the headliner at the last second and then shoving through the people who have been waiting in that spot for an hour is getting worse over the last few years. I waited for 90 minutes for Tool by the mixing booth and ended up going back to the Ferris Wheel right before the show because I almost got knocked over a dozen times by people shoving between me and the person next to me. Mostly seemed to be the overly drunk bro's and very young folks who are still learning festival etiquette. Just didn't feel it was worth the frustration and getting mad over. Still a great show and hope to be back next year.
Yep! Stayed at Space Zebra rail from open till T00L ended… never left. I knew I’d lose my spot if I even went to the bathroom! It was absolutely brutal, but I had to because T00L is the best band in the world! 🖤🔧🖤
Yes!!!!!!!! I've been waiting for this! Was worried you'd decided to skip the vlog this year. Thank you so much!!!!!!
Thank you!
Glad the storm didnt spoil too much. Maybe even cooled things down a bit? I think Band Maid opened a lot of people's eyes that night. 👍
Finally! Ive been waiting! Love this! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Thank you!
Just finished day 0 video and day 1 comes out!! Thanks for the content sir! 🎉
Thank you!
I was there Thursday too! First time going to Rockville and 1st music festival in general. BFMV was my most anticipated band but became a new fan of other ones! Thank you for these videos, i watched your vids from prior Rockvilles leading up to me buying a ticket for this one, hope to go again next year!
Very cool! I'm glad you had a good time!
I'm pumped to see vended at Rockfest this year! If you ever make it up to Wisconsin, come in July during Rockfest and you won't regret it! So many of the same bands as DWP shows, but generally less rain and about 1/2 there people😂
Great video!
Another good one. Thanks!
Damn man! Thanks for posting this!!! Mind blown with the way u guys hit everything. Us “lower totem pole people” were hungry and didn’t get any food at all, hot af, sweating our ass off, very very dehydrated and exhausted, no upgrade amenities! Fkn brutal. BUT….. had rail for Rob Zombie, Incubus, and my all time favorite Puscifer & T00L- the entire reason for going. Not our first Rockville since we live 20 min away. We only did Thursday & Sunday (Left for the Puscifer concert in St. Pete, then came back Sunday). Totally get it with the people as I had a human backpack for like 5 hrs straight for T00L! 🤭🤣 kinda crazy cause I stood at Space Zebra rail from opening until close!
You are a warrior standing at the barrier all day. I see peeps run up at open every day and salute them for being that hardcore to wait in the same spot all day long.
@@ViewFromTheCheapSeats hell yeah! The 2nd leg of the FI T00L tour we drove about 16hrs to St. Louis and immediately pulled up, parked and basically created the line! It was still dark out too!!! Merch monsters 😂 -the things we do for love!!
For the 2nd year straight (I've only been to Rockville 2022 and 2023) I've seen you and your family walking around and I've been wanting to come up and tell yall how much I love the channel but I didn't want to interrupt lol
It's never an interruption. Say hi!
Watching these 4 weeks out for 2024 owners club this year can't wait!
Recently found your channel and wanted to thank you for these Videos they are extremly helpful and informative. My husband and I went on Friday for the first time we tried to find you both to say Hi and thanks for the videos but we never found you in the crowds.
Thank you! Sorry that we missed you!
Thanks for sharing!!!!! Consideration at concerts I like it💗💗💗💗
Great coverage CS. My take, we went on Thursday mainly to see Zombie and Slipknot we had never seen either before. The only afternoon band we had any interest in was Black Stone Cherry, they sounded great. We did VIP thought it was totally worth the up charge. Seeing your video on the Owners Club has me interested in upgrading again next year.
Overall this was our 1st Rockville experience and we wanted to try 1 day to test the waters. We had a blast, tons of
Walking, my legs are still feeling it on Monday🤣🤣. Slipknot and Zombie were both great IMO felt bad for Rob and the audio/video problems he had during his set.
Love the channel, keep up the good work!
Thank you! There is definitely a lot of walking. We logged 44 miles over 5 days.
I have just begun watching.. Just want to say: Thanks so much! I miss the old Ozzfests and Mayhemfests! Love outdoor concerts!
You rock! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Thank you!
Nice meeting yall at rockville ! Very cool couple !
I watch these every year. Your closing statements is why love separate shows. Longer sets and not as many douches passing and stopping.
The older I get (im 43), the less I want to walk all of this. I respect you for not only doing these videos but putting up with assholes. Keep up the quality content my friend.
Thank you!
Great video, so glad we camped in silver lot it was super quiet I was really surprised!
52 and this was my 1st and possibly my last, it really was a lot of walking but so many great shows
Kyle Always love the Rockville footage 🤘
My wife and I have attended every Rockville starting with the first in 2011 which was only one day. I discovered your vlog after the 2017 festival that had Soundgarden and Def Leppard as headliners and always look forward to catching it every year once it's over. You do a great job recapping everything and I agree that it's still a great event but it's so big now that it's a little harder to enjoy. The one thing I really miss is the side by side main stages they used to have in Jacksonville. Seems like you have to walk a hundred miles each day with it inside the huge speedway.
Keep up the awesome work and catch you next year.
The setup in Jacksonville is well missed. The side by side stages were epic for being able to stand in one place and see both stages.
I was sad to miss Trivium on this day because of the storm, but I was very happy that they were able to keep Bullet For My Valentine on the schedule. Also glad there were no more evacs the rest of the weekend.
i was able to meet and see converge play to about 150 people probably due to their set being moved during rob zombie. their set was honestly my favorite of the festival!
That is awesome. The shifting of timing threw everything off after the delay.
It looks like a really awesome experience to go to. I got to see Slipknot last year in Grand Rapids it was so awesome! This sounded like there was some sound quality issues going on for a few people. Some I'm a little hesitant to check this out
Duuude! day 1 yeaaaah!...band- maid sounds cool like some like anime babymetal hahaha... Rob zombie my man!! looove it!...i don't know why, till today i don't like that much slipknot XD, they have a great guitarrist and an awesome bass player, but naaah hehehe...thanks for share day 1 man, i was waiting for it :D
Thank you!
You said the wrong word comparing these awesome ladies to Babymetal. Band Maid is the best thing that has happened to rock music in the last 25 years.
@@emkayg612 xD
@@emkayg612 true hehe
Totally just watched this video to see if I was walking by at any time 🙂. This was my first Rockville. It was so hot on Day 1 and I wore a tank top and applied strong sunscreen 4 times throughout the day and still got burned so I didn't do that again. I agree with you at the end about seeing some of the bands again on a regular tour where I can sit and see. One of the Slipknot moshpits was right in front of me.
The sun is our enemy here. I end up burnt every time we go to Rockville, despite lathering up on sunscreen.
I WAS THERE great year this year. Met so many good people
It was one of the better years of the event.
Great video and I enjoy them because like for myself I can't handle being out in the heat like that or just a big festival in general. I like my a/c lol but seriously you do such an amazing job on your editing and how you talk about how you describe like the bigger guys and some people in general makes it harder for others to see especially if there short. Me I am 5 foot 9 and I can understand completely. I been in venue's and all these tall 6 foot something guys in front of me made it harder to see. So I get it completely. I was hoping you would of caught my friends From Ashes To New. But then I remembered from all the music you share on your channel there not your type of band even though they have heavy music. And that's cool though you still put out great content. When it comes to this event. Your channel 100% is where I love to watch Rockville on.
Thank you for the kind words. We did see From Ashes To New a couple of weeks ago when they opened for Shinedown in Orlando. They put on a good show. We've seen them at prior Rockville events as well.
Thanks for the veiw man. Much appreciated. I spent my career doing pyro for bands, and more..and that festival competition SUCKS. At my age now, looking at that setup with bands playing different stages
At same times blows also..✌️❤️and stay groovy!
The overlap is rough. The older days of the event had less days and less overlap. I wouldn't mind going back to not having to choose between bands at the same time.
What a great fucking festival lots of cool things to do!!
I live in ROCKVILLE MARYLANd so it's ROCKville everyday
Ha! Way cool!
Was looking for ya!!!
Sorry we missed you!
😻
😻
😻
😻
Good editing! Reminds me why I would never want to go to one of those shows ever again 😂
Ha! Thank you!
Hey man I saw you guys at Rockville 🤘🏻
Slipknot🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 who agees 😊
I attend Aftershock every year as it’s only 30 miles from my house. It’s the best 4 days of the year. I attend 8-10 other concerts every year too. I have already been to 4 this year with tickets to 4 other concerts so far with a few more I’m looking at going to.
Very cool!
Love Bullet for My Valentine, they just opened up for Megadeth here in Nova Scotia. And of course a fan of Rob Zombie and Slipknot. This looks like a great time!
It was a really great lineup this year!
Thanks for the video!! I just saw Bullet For My Vallentine / From Ashes To New / Zero 9:36 in Raleigh NC last night. Great show but the general admission crowd around me became unbearable at times.
The GA crowds are rough at times and we try to stand out of the way of everyone, but when it's packed, there's no avoiding some peeps.
I was there as well, didn’t know you were there as well!
We've gone for the last 10 years. Love this festival.
At zombies show a balloon poppet when playing Living Dead Girl and I took a bit as a souvenir
I don't know how you do it. I'm 43 and I don't think my body will hold up anymore. That and I don't have patience for personal space invaders anymore. I was thinking about going to inkarnation this year but I just can't do it. Great video
I say this every year but one day I’ll go to this! This vlog makes me miss Carolina Rebellion so much!
💙💀💙
You should make the trip!
@@ViewFromTheCheapSeats I’m seriously considering making it my big trip next year! The Blueridge Rock Fest in VA is the closest to me in NC but I’ve heard not great things where everyone always seems so hype for Rockville. This lineup this year looks great especially with Alice Cooper, Motionless in White and Rival! So much variety!
💙💀💙
hello guys, what you can carry in your backpack? Im old and want to go inside with those ultra-small portable seats/chairs, a rain poncho, snacks, ....
Also, I plan to go on Thursday only, for how long you can park in general parking? May I sleep in the car .?
What time starts and normally ends?
Thanks so much
My friend actually won the Van Halen Monsters of Rock guitar at Alpine Valley in the late 80's i think. He traded it in for a decent bass.
Dude holy fucking shit you straight up filmed my friends like you were only a foot away
What a great week!!! My arms wanted to just fall off, after 5 days of recording😂😂😂
Love slipknot the drummer from new jersey
Jay is a chip off the block of Max. Both are excellent drummers.
Bloodywood had to be my favorite non headliner show
Rival, she should have given it up.
Well done. Thanks for recording! Also: which Jackery do you use/do you like it?
We have a Jackery 2000 and a Jackery 300. Both are excellent and a great way to stay off grid with power.
I was the kid on the fake drumset things in one of the first tents he went in
Bummer on the Budweiser/Bud Light who knows how old it is or where it came from :(
Thanks for taking the time to give us these videos. Also...why dont you guys watch some of the shows from the owners club tent? Seems easier
Owners Club is further away from the stage. We did watch some bands from that location, but the majority of our party didn't have OC and we wanted to watch with them.
look at Mike so sharp man
Great video!
What did you use to record??? The zoom is great!! 9:34
I was there all 4 days also. I agree with you on watching the shows separately. I think it's more enjoyable if you want to appreciate the music. Now, I don't mind the moshing and crowd surfing but it's not for everyone. At these festivals, there is no safe area from a mosh or crowd surf wave unless you are way behind the main crowd. But, I think the moshing and crowd surfing comes with the territory. I think the heat and fatigue just beats you down by the time headliners come on. BTW, What camera do you use? Zoom quality on it is awesome. Thanks for the video.
The heat and sun are killer at these festivals. I used an iPhone 14 Pro Max and a PANASONIC LUMIX DC-ZS70K
love that Rob adopts a southern accent when in the south.
Hey! He's from south NYC. ;)
@@ViewFromTheCheapSeats technically south New England, he’s from haverhill, a buddy of mines dad was he and his brothers highschool teacher
@@ViewFromTheCheapSeats 😂😂
Ayo! I see a Micket on stage! :) (Rivals)
Great video. That Vended band sucks though ...bad.🤪🤣
23:02 Sounds like toad from Mario lol
it was so good this year sadly never found yall
It was a great year! Sorry we missed you!
@@ViewFromTheCheapSeats its ok nut it was a weekend to rember
What camera did you use ?
What kind of camera or phone were you using to get this footage?!!🤟
I was gonna watch vended when the app said they would go on at 3:40 but then it changed to 5:00 which overlapped with avatar I stayed for avatar THEN vended overlapped with bullet which sucks
I must have pissed sum security off cus I was being super stubborn with the delay lmao, I looked at one and went "you can't touch me ima minor" but I was so mad cus I got there for slipknot at 9:30 in the morning, I got my spot back tho!
The worst part of the delays is walking in with a huge crowd and then lining back up with a massive amount of people to get back in.
Corey looks like Wilson the volleyball
I’d figured Rob would be more pissed at losing John 5 to Motley Crue
This is true.
Watched your vids from last years event. Great job covering this festival. I will never figure out how Rob Zombie gets top billing. I've seen him many times. The band and the instrument section is always good. Its Rob Zombie himself who is completely horrendous on the microphone. I'd rather see his vocals be tracked than him sing.
🤑🤑🤑
Do you Daytona or Jax under the bridge better. I have yet to go to Daytona. I met you the last time it was in Jax. I enjoy your take of the concert.
We very much miss the Jacksonville days, including the bridge and the hill.
Hopefully Rob Zombie won't have those technical difficulties when I see him in September with Alice Cooper, Ministry and Filter.
I'm sure his non-festival shows will go off without any issues.
I'm so pissed I missed Bullet for my Valentine.
A lot of people missed them bc they were still getting in from being evacuated from the storm. Sucks!
How long is each band on stage for? This is my first year going🙏
It depends on the band and the time of day that they play. Earlier bands may play for 30 minutes and headliners may play for 90 minutes. They will release a schedule of times for each band about 2 weeks before the show on their website.
My brother was at avatar when the attention sign came up
It was a bummer.
Me too.🙁
Merch tent was an oven.
I don’t know why they didn’t have fans or portable air conditioning in that tent. It was absolutely brutal waiting in that tent.
Slipknot is happening tomorrow 😂🎉
Why did Slipknot play disatsterpiece
Sorry but only reason vended gets book at theses shoes is cause of Corey ....he pulled strings for sure
No doubt this is true. They also remained playing after the delay while Trivium was cut.
They also ran over their set time at blue ridge last year and messed up the set times for the rest of the day for that stage after that stage at the beginning of the day started late from difficulties. Made sure they got to play their full set; Clown's son is also in the band so yea they definitely have a lot of help.
But.. Badflower???‽!!!!
I paid 18 dollars for the Nashville Hot Chicken. Ive seen Vended kill a set. A little disappointed. Corey's .....sorry, Griffins voice seems a little strained.
How hard is it to bring weed in ? Going 2024
Will people be blazing to cypress hill
