I just ordered some of the sultan deluxe and I'm looking for the right pattern. I like the full circle style because I want to make a warmer shawl for winter. I was thinking of doubling up the yarn and using a slightly larger hook. I just don't know if it'll end up big enough though. I have 2 cakes of each color. You used more than one cake for that size, so do you think double stand with a slightly larger hook would end up about the same size?
@@DMB088 Not really. I think it will be thicker but not quite as long. You might not need it that long if it’s thicker. Give it a try and see how it goes. The other option is to bring in another strand from a different yarn and then this way you can get both the length and thicker fabric. Definitely let me know what you choose. I’d live for you to share your progress in my FB group: facebook.com/groups/LETSHAVEFUNCROCHET Thanks for connecting!
@@LightandJoyDesigns thank you for your response! I think I'll do the 3/4 instead, so hopefully the 2 cakes double-stranded will still be long enough. I will let you know what happens!

Oh my goodness. I don't usually leave a complaint but the hook tapping on the table hurts my ears. 😢 Love this otherwise. I am only at the beginning of the pattern, I hope I can tolerate the tapping and finish.
Terrible video. Yo need to point out that your first ‘in between stitch’ is essentially under neath the first one. I watched probably ten times and tore out at least 6 times until my daughter finally helped and after watching 3 times, she figured it out.

You make it look complicated and the diagram doesn’t make it look easy either
I’m sorry that it is complicated. Is there anything that I can help make more clear?
