Old classic song sung & recorded separately in 1930 by Lee Morse & Annette Hanshaw. Two marvelous singers of the era. Great song, with music by Harry Warren & lyrics by Edgar Leslie. Others recorded it also, it was quite popular.
- note the participation of award-winning filmmaker ( Grand Jury Prize, Sundance - Best Documentary 1995, New York Film Critics...) on bass - Terry Zwigoff....
Saw 'em play at the Santa Cruz Saw Festival in 1982 or 3. Zwigoff told me Crumb no longer played with them, but forged Bob's signature on my LP sleeve for me. Terry was in a steel orthopedic cage to support his spine after a terrible accident. Great guys, Bob Armstrong, Alan Dodge, Terry...
I miss this
