I would like to know how did a 20 year old lil peep make close to 300 songs , be able to write and remmber them and sing them in such a small amount of time and have more then 100 master peaces. Just doesn't make sense to me , this guy was a lyric genius who could function off pills and party hard and he had it all but in the end lost it all , and now we are carrying his pain - threw his lyrics on top of our own

He never officially promoted “cowys2” when he was alive because it was never even a thing at the time. He was promoting GAS and played GAS songs live, so I’m assuming after GAS dropped he was gonna start playing cowys2 songs and promoting that.

Joe Reilly he talked ab the project, which was inevitable that he was going to have a second follow up album, but he never promoted it. Not once did he ever promote COWYS2 while he was alive. Talking ab it and promoting it are two different things.
I could be missing something but I’m thinking his label prevented him from playing the songs possibly?

Well, i dont see any reason for them to do so. All of the beats were made from scratch, right? No copyright infringement, no legal tension, no problem.
Peep was underground he wasn't signed with a major label when he was alive
xltsalad yeah I wish it was like that, labels love to change artist’s music to be “more trendy” or “better” in their eyes. Take MGMT’s Oracular Spectacular, where everything MGMT did was a subtle jab at their label for constantly wanting to change their music.

Damn I had no idea “Hate Me” was recorded in 2015, That’s one of my favorite songs of his and it’s mind blowing to know that was before recorded crybaby and hellboy
It was actually recorded in late 2016 and was going to be on an ep called "hate me"
The music video for life is beautiful was filmed in spring 2015, and cry alone was filmed in may 2017
I remember some of the OG versions of part 2 being leaked like the same year part 1 was coming out

In October that year he said his next project was GAS. So he probably planned on dropping that then maybe revisiting COWYS 2 for a future release. Dam.

I remember clearly when he was alive, he was promoting GAS and saying it was coming soon, and it was a whole year before cowys2 came out.
I heard that was the plan and a lot of artist do that format
Because he never had a job so he basically had 24 hours a day to write and record music every single day. Even on tour your main responsibilities are rehearsing, press and performing. So plenty of time to write and record songs in the time between. Peep's life was essentially wake up, get high, stay up all night, make music and repeat.
