Oooh I love all the antique pieces! She gave you pretty good deals tbh i used to resell this era of clothes and it gets pricey! When you clean them make sure to hand wash and to use dish soap rather than laundry detergent. And use a towel to get out water before hanging to airdry.
Ty for the tip. Do you gently wring items out in the towel or lay them gently on it flat? Ty!!
@@Ilovevintage77 lay out the towel flat on a large surface and then lay the clothing item out flat on top of that. roll up the towel with the clothing item inside of it like a sushi roll, this should get some of the water out of the clothes without being too harsh on the fabric

Everything is so precious, feminine, dainty, delicate and beautiful and considering it’s antique in very good condition since it is to be expected that there will be wear and tear for its age and use overtime!! That pink dress is a dream and your last piece. Also beautiful Bloomer set! The lady knew it would be in good hands with you that you would cherish it for another generation 🦋🦋🦋
i think the prices sound like insane deals!! for a perfect corset that also has not-ripped beautiful lace and that ribbon, only $20? cuz vintage and antique as well is different than thrift/flea prices, its usually opposite. sounds like u were expecting something different haha! usually vintage (especially 70s or earlier which it looks like all your items are) are MORE expensive than today's clothing, not less. cuz they're prized possessions and have to be well-maintained and cared for and are very rare, as opposed to goodwill/thrift-esque clothing, which i absolutely adore as well! people dont generally buy vintage/antique clothing who are on a budget unfortunately, it's oftentimes the exact opposite! so im so surprised you got the corset that cheap, i'd assume comparables would be around $40+ depending on age! so yea, you really got some wild deals! and genuine edwardian/victorian! i mean, there's hardly any people even selling that at this point besides in museums, let alone ones that are wearable, so i'd bet those would sell for probably $100+ even for tons of staining or holes, as you saw on etsy! the ones you found on etsy werent actually 'rare finds', but just totally normal antique pieces. see, every vintage piece on etsy is called a 'rare find' just bc theres only one of them usually! so $30 is just absolutely unheard of, you saved about $100-$200 easy. i really, really wish vintage was cheaper since it is my favorite style. (but yea just so you're prepped for any future vintage purchases, you're not getting ripped off at all, these pieces are usually just way, way more than thrift/modern prices lol)
The white corset is probably an 80s or 90s piece, I’d be able to tell better if I could see the tag.
Silky tag means it’s definitely 90s. Union label or paper tag means older.
You definitely scored paying $20 for it! I’d probably sell a piece like that for $45-$55 on depop. Especially with the pink ribbon detail, it’s very cute.

Buying an antique piece someday is my dream, but it's not very available to me outside of Etsy or Ebay. Because of pricing, I don't want to take the risk of ordering online.

I'm a type of "it's just a clothes anyways" person so personally I think you should do whatever you want with it! Get some lace, grab some ribbon, and make it more like your style Dani! Unless you want to resell those clothes in much higher price ofc
Love the pink dress, so pretty! I bought a few antique corset covers. They had a couple stains and minor wear. I dyed them black and wear them on occasion but they mostly act as decor items in my closet. 🤗✨ You could try dyeing them a darker colour to cover the stains?
The corset and pink dress were my faves 😍💗🎀 and ONLY $60 FOR BOTH?! For the vintage shoes you can add a bow (or a brooch? Lil flowers, lace, etc.). At first, I was skeptical about the shoes, but once you posted the inspo pic I saw DA VISION ✨✨ lol

Horrible feeeingggg!!! even worse was when I was waiting at the vet, a girl rushed in with her limp dog screaming for help! I’m burst into tears but the vet team were ON IT!!!😭😭😭
Those are holes caused by moths...Just my opinion, as must damage, stains, no brand names, etc., I think the "lady" took advantage of you. Never tell sellers how much money you have to spend. Lastly, glad your little bunny is doing well.

I'm glad Dumpling is doing better! My bunny boy baby also was having issues, I noticed he was squishing himself against the ground so I gave him two doses of baby gas medicine and he's now doing better!

that white bustier is prob vintage, not very old 80s at the oldest. I agree on that salmon ish blouse 50s ish. I don't think that 1st set with the bloomer is antique actually, the shape isnt right idk. So it is probably 1960s.

Personally none of it was to my taste + big bucks but each to their own, gimmie, studs and skulls anyway, but I'm super happy your bunny is OK, I miss all mine very much ( I was a private rabbit & cat rescue for many years)
