I live close to Super Thrift and I just want to say that there was a different thrift store in the area that went viral and got completely trashed by the hoards of people that came through. Please please please remember that places like Super Thrift are small businesses. If you want to visit (you should it is fantastic!!) do not make a mess of the store, be kind to the workers, and most importantly DON'T STEAL.
THISSSS!!! Small businesses take so much time to curate and hand select vintage items so it’s disrespectful to see ppl damage or trash inventory. Please handle items with care and put away your go backs! I do it EVERY TIME I thrift and it only takes a minute!🥰✨

I sell vintage clothing and SWEAR BY this method for removing stains. I’ve been absolutely shocked with the caked on gunk that I’ve been able to remove from 30-60 year old clothing.
1.Fill a large tote that you would use for storage (or bathtub or just your washer if there is enough room) with super hot tap water.
2. Add oxiclean odorblaster, the kind that is a powder in a tub with a little scooper inside. The amount I add depress on how many items I’m soaking. For several garments I’ll use a whole scoop-full. One or two pieces I will only use 1/2 a scoop or less.
3.MAKE SURE YOUR ITEMS ARE SEPARATED BY COLOR IF SOAKING MORE THAN ONE THING!!! Ive destroyed some clothes that have a mostly white background and some red so be very cautious! Reds tend to bleed the most and even pre-washed items will have some dye dispersal when put into the hot water. I’ll watch the items closely for the first 1/2 or so to see if there is any dye bleeding and if there is then I remove the pieces, rinse very well with hot water and return them to the tub.
4. I add a few sprays of dawn powerspray (the absolute best degreaser ever made in my opinion)
5. Mix up and then add your clothes!
6.let sit in the tub for a full 24 hours, stir occasionally if you’re doing multiple items since some will like to float to the top.
7. Wring most of the water from the piece and rinse with hot water in the sink. Wring excess water again (just to make things easier for yourself with transport to the washer)
8. Wash with warm or hot water and add your normal detergent (I never use softener, just dryer sheets)

Hey Danielle, for the stains, wash them with detergent and white vinegar, it works wonders and even acts as a disinfectant, you can do it by hand or in the washer 😉🥰

Just FYI, that kitty picture you didn't get because you thought you couldn't hang, it's super easy ad cheap to get a picture wire, or just put a nail in the wall and hang the pic on it! You just use the frame itself.

Most of the times I fall in love with some cute items and then they turn into my regrets as well🥺 I had thrifted such a pretty baby blue hello kitty top which smelled a bit odd and I thought it would go away if I washed it but it smelled horrible after I washed it with liquid detergent and it still does. I love your soft pink thrift today
oh noooo! That suckssss. I once thrifted a ton of crochet pieces that smelled like old crusty dusty gym socks and washing it with baking soda helped take away the smell after one single wash! Hope this helps aaaand if not then hope some else who reads this can drop their wash hacks❤
Try laundry sanitizer! I have never met a smell laundry sanitizer didn't fix.
also def try white vinegar! acts as a deodorizer

Hello! Make sure you wash your plushies with a pillowcase! Place your plushie inside of a pillowcase and secure it so the plushie doenst fall out during the wash - then wash in gentle cycle!! Air dry!😊

everyone always suggests oxy clean and idk why I never pick it up! I think this is my sign to finally buy some! girllllll command strips NEVER work for me. I used command strips for fake cakes to hang on my bathroom wall and they all fell off lol and they're hecka light since its styrofoam! unless im doing something wrong so I ended up nailing them to the wall
Especially the laundry soap called Xtra with oxi clean works every time for me

Honestly same. I have OCD(actually diagnosed) but Danielle inspires me to want to thrift so bad. But I know if I actually try to, I know I’ll probably freak out and want wash my hands after everything I touch. Your belly piercing is cuuute!! I got mine so so long ago (when low rise was in the first time😂 it took a year to heal and I only wore low rise and crop tops! Now I completely forget I have it. It never hurts or feels irritated ever!! Just take very careful care esp the first year and soon enough you’ll actually forget you have it! Bc it’ll be like part of you. I wear low/mid/high rise and nothing hurts or is uncomfy!! Great finds !

Baking soda and vinegar paste on the stains. Let it sit for 10 minutes rinse then wash. Reapply the paste as needed. This will change your stain life

Noooo those sweat stains unlocked a memory. I remember my sister gave me a white collar shirt and it was so stained and I wore it for years until recently I finally found a replacement. I’m surprised I didn’t make a hole 😭
😂😂😂😂I literally only own one white button up shirt that I always use for layering and it finally has come to the point where the yellowing in the arm pits is SOOOOO noticeable but I have yet to find my replacement😭

I work at a thrift store and the prices are a little ridiculous for free shit. I cringed when a lady brought a statue up to me for $80. Thrift stores are starting to become retail price. 🤦♀️
Us baking soda blue Dawn dish soap and hydrogen peroxide mix into a paste and put it on the stains and let it sit for about 15 minutes it works great on sweat stains ...

Danielle, for stain removing, I recommend Whink Wash Away Laundry Stain Remover, I use that on all kinds of stains from food stains to other stains, and it works wonders, and gets them out really well!

Tip: to get sweat stains out add hydrogen peroxide, baking soda and your laundry detergent when you wash the clothes and it should get the sweat stains out~

@@twinelle barley 😭 it usually sat in storage as I got older. I’ll say though, not washing my stuffies has conserved them pretty well. Wouldn’t recommend if you use them though. I had forgotten about the horse recording 😂 it had a little gallop at the end too, right? 🤣
