The Locks are put by couples as a Symbol, that they stay together
Context to love locks can be found by clicking on en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Love_lock
@christophbade3806
You can find it e.g. also in Cologne.
But what you did see is really just an excerpt of places worth seeing in Germany. I would add: Regensburg, Nürnberg, Leipzig, Erfurt, Quedlinburg, Görlitz, Trier, Koblenz, Marburg, Tübingen, Münster, Aachen, Wismar, Monschau, North Sea cost, Lüneburger Heide, Eifel, Bergisches Land, Spessart, Sauerland and so on and so on. It is still incomplete
You really need several lives, to see all towns, villages and regions in Germany which are worth seeing!
Please , the Brandenburger Tor in Berlin is not a Disney-Gate . 😊 Do not compare that .
We are to proud of our history. Well , most of it .
And they speak german in Austria.
That building in Hamburg is the :
Elbphilharmonie . A concert-hall .
Lol what I meant is that it's an iconic place that many people want to take a picture in front of...hence why I said like the Disney entrance. I wasn't trying to compare them specifically, just the concept of being at a 'special place'! 🙂
@@TheAngrySpud It's called 'instagrammable' i think.
13:15 wtf is that?! There are hundreds of beautiful places on the Baltic Sea and he chose „Brodten“?! 😂 literally no one knows this place (because it’s literally in the middle of nowhere). You should check out Rügen, Usedom and Sylt. That’s what the German coast is famous for
Might make a video on that, thanks!
Saying that your favourite spot in Berlin is the Brandenburg gate is like saying the Eiffel Tower is your favourite spot in Paris. A but dull. Sounds almost like he’s never actually been to Berlin and he only read the Wikipedia page of the city
Lol maybe that's his favorite part! I personally love the Neuschwanstein Castle
We can all sit in that gondola, you said such an accent and ok let’s go
You are watching a video about Germany ,yet when they show vineyards in the Moselle, you ask “are we in Italy now?”.
That's immediately what I thought of!
The Love Locks all over in Germany 😄
I heard gondolas are common there and Fidneywotld is the first place I ever rode one of those!
Greetings from austria 🇦🇹, we don’t speak austrian. We speak austrian german (other dialect), like swiss german. But great reaction bruh 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Thank you for that!!! I love Germany so the reactions to that country will definitely continue
With that hat you look like Billy Mo. He was most famous for his hit song "Ich Kauf Mir Lieber 'nen Tirolerhut".
I'll have to check him out!
11:02 Yes, the Berlin TV tower has two observation levels (at just over 200 meters / 656 feet above ground): One normal one where you can freely walk around in the circle of the sphere, and the other above it houses a full-on restaurant where you sit down at tables. These tables along with the entire floor slowly revolve (1 full turn per hour) so that you will eventually get the entire 360-degree view across the city in every direction.
I've been in two towers like that where they had restaurants. This one is definitely on the bucket list...thank you!
@@TheAngrySpud The tower was built while it was still East Germany, which as a communist country was not too keen on religion, so when the Berliners saw that sunlight creates a CROSS on the outside of this "ball" ... they gave it the NICKNAME *"the revenge of the pope".*
[Lots of buildings/statues in Berlin have slightly derogative nicknames to make fun of it or to create a better attachment.]
P.S.: DONT listen to the guy in the video for pronounciations ... and he is "standard ANNOYING" by focusing on "that stupid time in Germany last century" ... like far too many americans.
❤️❤️❤️
Love locks , with the names on it!
the locks was a tradition started randomly by someone, if i remember correctly, and in love ones leave a lock there, similar to scratching a heart into a tree.
I think the idea is really cool. I wonder if they would ever run out of room? At that point what do you do lol
Yea... that hat is Bavarian. Bavaria is just a State of many in Germany, and Bavarians are also in Austria - so no, Germans do not put that hat on like that.
Or are you wearing a murican Cowboy hat in NYC...? 😂
Thanks for the info lol. You can wear whatever you want in NYC, they are funky over there!!
🖤❤️💛 ✌️
1939 eagles nest holy holy so crazy compared to your HS eagle nest … so awesomely amazing heights and is hitler afraid of elevators and heights?
Spudscribe!! I like that!
Smart 😊
It would be very stupid to go throgh the Balck Forrest with a Bugatti. You have to do that with a motorcycle.
12:09 please don’t repeat his words 😂 he don’t know what he’s saying. Google translator his free and yet his pronunciation is as bad as it can be
😂
Not to mention that he seems to be a Nazi worshipper.
That hat is not something most Germans would wear. My Northern German mates would probably burn it? Trouble is most Americans think Germany is Bavaria and Southern Germany. It most certainly isn't.
Ehm could you please not say 'Bavaria and Southern Germany' as if you are throwing Baden-Württemberg into the same pot? Aside from Bavaria, we are the only other state left in southern Germany (and no, Hessen is not part of it). We sincerely refuse to be a part of this.
There are some older hunters who wear this type of hat though, but mostly for some traditional Fest where everyone has to wear their traditional Tracht.
What's wrong with my hat!? And it is a German-style hat, right? I inquired if that's how Germans put their hat on their head lol
Please, whatever you do: Do NOT imitate his pronounciation! I'm sure he's a nice guy and his videos are great, but he manages to butcher EVERY SINGLE name he mentions... 😂
Few people have said that! I'll try to pronounce them myself then lol
guten tag !
