I love how your reaction on Roger's "Everybody Rock 'n' Roll!" is quite similar to Freddie's in Wembley '86, when Roger is going "One, two, three, four!" to start 'Another One Bites The Dust' while he wasn't ready yet

@Bob Braley. Yes,, he blew the roof off !! John was painfully shy some of the time, very conservative personality unless he was drinking a bit which loosened him up ! He had a fully equipped portable bar onstage & someone to mix whatever he wanted between songs, don't u love it ?! AND John was married so young & tho touring alot managed to get his beautiful wife pregnant 6 times, so he was obviously VERY "Happy at Home" as told by his self penned huge hit by that title 😀... but I believe John WAS very recognized as the GREAT BASSIST he was. Queen would not have had so many hits without his rocking bass permeating every Queen song. His 'Another One Bites The Dust ' was one of their biggest hits. Each Of them was an integral sound that made Queen so successful, lovingly referred to as "the immediately recognizable Queen sound". But since John didn't go around 'promoting himself ' so to speak, it may have erroneously seemed that he didn't get his due credit. I like to think that we people like you & me & HAP who watched & listened for his bass totally recognized his brilliance & WORTH to create that "sound of Queen ". It's unmistakable. But how nice of you to post that comment, we should all do it often. John Deacon , you are in a class by yourself 🎸 having given Queen YOUR brilliant musicianship
They are smiling and enjoying playing these songs because they were influenced by these "oldies" as they were growing up. Just as we smile when we hear Queen today. This was fantastic, the playing, energy, and Freddie, as usually, believable and powerful in any kind of music - rock, pop, blues, opera, disco..Whatever he sings - You believe him! Even when he's wearing outfit that requires sunglasses to watch him! 😊
“EVERYBODY ROCK N ROLL” 😂😂 Everybody buckle up!!! I absolutely love the “bling” onesie that Freddie is wearing! Cor Blimey!! Freddie is the shooting star!OMG!! Brian is the epitome of a rock star, Roger the shirtless drummer, & Deacy licking his fingers slappin’ the bass. Great shout out to John!! 👏👏👏👏 I love this medley cuz Queen is so hot 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Orgasmic Freddie 😲 Shivers!!! Freddie pulling down the onesie .... Yikes!! I need a cold shower HAP!! 🥶
During that time period it was “Glam Rock” and Freddie definitely went with it!!! They were always humble and very considerate and appreciative of their fans. Brian said early on at their first time at the Rainbow Room that the group all realized they only had one chance to do their best at each concert so they always wanted to pull everything out of their arsenal to make every concert special for the fans who spent their hard earned money to see them. You don’t hear that from rock groups!! They mostly didn’t care if you had a good time or not as long as they got their money.
To start, I love when you go off on your tangents😃. I have viewed many other "reactors", and your understanding of the music, the things you notice, the look, the sound, nuances is wonderful. You mentioned how young and not as polished Queen were in this performance. Queen's continuing to change their appearance and delve into different sounds year after year after year is what put them about EVERYONE then and now! Continue the Queen journey! ❤❤
Oh I forgot something. QUEEN played GOD SAVE THE QUEEN after every concert going back to the early 70's. The first time I heard the anthem was after the concert at the Rainbow in 1974. Just thought you might like to know about that. I love that about QUEEN that they would play the anthem. QUEEN BEE.
Absolutely loved your reaction. Had a crap day and nothing cheers you up more then seeing Freddie strutting about and posing giving it his alll grunting and sighing Roger half naked killing it on the drums John looking cool and you know he means business when he licks his fingers Brian being serious Thanks for the reaction it was fun to watch 👍👌❤️
OMG your reaction is priceless. You had me laughing. Loved your reaction. QUEEN has some sort of rock n roll medley in every concert that they played. You made my day with your reaction. Thank you HAP. Take care and have a good evening. Dont stop exploring QUEEN. You have so much more to watch. Your girl, QUEEN BEE.
Your comment about Freddie not going over to John. Check your "Liar" reaction and you'll see John singing with Freddie. The band looked as though they were really having fun and it's so good to see! Insightful reaction as always, Hap. 🤍
Yes, I have seen Freddie sharing his mike with John and there is a song where he goes over to John and leans on his shoulder and runs his finger along the neck of the guitar, but generally he interacts more with Brian.
Oh the great Queen rock medleys. They were the best. This is Earls' Court. I think this is the only time they did Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting. Roger and Freddie were always "talking" either by eye signals or Freddie would make Roger laugh. I know what you mean about him not signalling John. I have never noticed that either although I have seen Brian and John interact. John never seemed to need a signal. He jumped in to whatever they decided to play. The rock medley encores were such a treat. The band played the songs they grew up on and had so much fun. The concert I went to in 1977 Freddie said the same thing. I don't recall ever seeing another band that cared so much about the fans. Hearing Freddie saying that they had a really good time was so endearing. He was a lovely guy.
John was criticised in a concert review around this time saying that he always looked bored. I think it hurt his feelings a bit, so maybe that’s why he got more lively on stage.
@Kristine Miller Still happens to this day, with critics attacking the movie for ridiculous reasons, or calling QAL a tribute band. But as always, the audience rightly ignores it and makes up its own mind. ;)
I love how the audience would sing God Save the Queen at the end of their concerts. Wish they would include it more often in the videos. Fabulous reaction!
John did that sometimes when Freddie was on the piano. And I think that John didn't want the attention, especially when the audiences became bigger. Loved your reaction! ❤️
Hey, Hap. I don’t know if it’s true, but I’ve heard that Freddie would divert attention from John because he knew he was a bit anxious on stage; however, if you want to see them interact, they always sing together a bit before the bass solo in “Liar.” Love your videos! ❤️
This is my most FAVORITE Freddie outfit EVER!!!!! I even made my own t-shirt of an image of him wearing it (probably from this show!) & I rhinestoned the whole catsuit!!!! WOOHOO!!!! ROCK N ROLL!!!!
And the photo of him in this costume with the white mask over his eyes - on anyone else it would look ridiculous, but on Freddie he is the king of cool.. my favorite photo of him
While watching them, the lyrics came to mind: "But it's been no bed of roses No pleasure cruise"...they really worked hard for their success, didn't they? First time enjoying this medley, "almost" better than Wembley and Budapest , Thank you! ☮
Even though I thought Freddie was very handsome with short hair and the 'tash, this was absolutely my favorite Freddie hair. Loved it. I also loved watching John, always so dancing! Queen is a wonderful fun band to watch....all four of them.
In a News of the word documentary, Brian said that the band grew up on those U.S. tours from the late 70s. Nice comment on John, he doesn't get much recognition as a bass player.
Ooh I'm the first one here today! HAP is doing another awesome reaction, YAY! I've had a crummy day so this is just what I needed to put a smile on my face! I love how you appreciate all music 🎶! You've introduced me to new music i likely would have never given a shot if not for your videos. Your observations are spot on as well, friend! Freddie's humility here despite his super cocky stage demeanor otherwise, was quite endearing and even kinda cute here. Love Queen so much!
Queen were outstanding in the 70s, the 80s, the 90s, and still today. Freddie's outfit was ballet...ish 😁😁😁 and sparkly, veryyyyy glittery, exactly like a shooting star...before becoming Mr. Fahrenheit . They seemed to have so much fun in the concerts it's a joy to see. And Disco Deaky is always fun to see (he was chilling).
Just loved this!! 😍Thank you!! 😊🙏. Just to respond to your comment regarding John: John was shy and didn’t like attention. He stood by Freddie when playing because all eyes would be on Freddie (not him). Freddie took John under his wing when he joined Queen at 19yrs old. If you notice during their live performances, Freddie rarely goes to John because he knows John doesn’t like attention. When they performed LIAR at the Rainbow 🌈, the only reason John went to the front of the stage was because someone challenged him to do so. (Don’t know who).
I WILL NEVER EVER TIRE OF WATCHING A QUEEN VIDEO, NO MATTER WHAT POINT OF THEIR CAREER THEY ARE AT!!! HAP WHEN YOU REACT TO QUEEN YOU GLOW WITH A SPECIAL KIND OF ENERGY!! WOWSERS!!! THANKS FOR REACTING TO 3 FANTASTIC SONGS TODAY, LOVED IT!🥰💕💕👑
Always love the oldies Queen play as tributes to the musicians they liked as teens. While in a boys' boarding school in India, Freddie started a band called the Hectics when he was 12, and he could play the oldies by ear after he heard them on the radio! He wasn't the lead singer in that band, but the other students would keep yelling, "Freddie! Freddie!" as they jumped up and down and cheered. Brian's dislike of Don't Stop Me Now was that the words were about Freddie's hedonistic life style. Queen tried to be protective of Freddie, and Brian often said that Freddie was "in a dark place" when they were in Munich. Freddie was the oldest of the band members and seemed to have experienced a broader sense of the world. He'd experienced bisexuality, and entering England at age 18 in 1964, he was unsure of how he'd live as a gay person. I read that he was hesitant to approach gay men and asked his girlfriends before Mary to introduce him to their gay friends. Later, Paul Prenter became important to Freddie in finding partners for him, even if they were only one-night stands. Freddie felt guilty when he had those encounters, not only because he was cheating on Mary, but the religion he was brought up in, Zoroastrianism, viewed homosexuality as the work of the devil. He knew that his parents wouldn't approve of those relationships. Mary accepted him and remained a sincere friend until the end. I'd read that she'd been the one who encouraged him to stop using cocaine, which had been part of the hedonistic lifestyle. Long Live Queen and Freddie's Music! Long Live DSMN, the song voted the most lively song and the song most appropriate to drive to!
Another great reaction, HAP. You've not listened to many of the ends of their concerts which normally finished with rock and roll medleys. Do try to view/react to some more of their early (and later) concert finales - always different rock and roll covers - which were just amazing, including the one when Roger trashes his drum set (Rainbow 1974) and the one after the doll drop (BBC live 1975 Christmas Eve - Hammersmith Odeon where they kept singing for the fans even after BBC cut off the video). Freddie also often sings with John in their early concerts and frequently includes him in the craziness. You have a lot more from the early concerts to catch up with and a whole lot more fun that will make you laugh and love them even more. Roger said they always loved the finales because their main work was done and they could just relax and have a blast with the music. Roger also said that although John often came across as very cool that when he got totally caught up in the music he would become a beast. The fans knew the concert was actually finally over, over when "God Save the Queen", (pun intended), played and the fans would sing along to honor the great Queen concert they had just been a part of so I recommend you let that part play out.
Hi Hap, thank you for react. If you shall see Queen all from the start you must go back to -73/74……..here they had been a band since about -71. I think They had first concert in -73. Here Freddie was 31, Brian 28, Roger 27, and John 26. Freddie is sooo 🔥🔥in his glitter-suit. Stay safe, and dont forget you are the Super-reacter 👑🌟
ohhh i love this rock n roll medley🤘🏾 weeeew is roger shirtless? ohhhh so hot in his drum😍 glad you’ve mentioned john deacon how he slapp that bass. freddie as always gives you surprise! what a show!💛🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾
Thanks for the reaction, Hap! I had such a long, hard day and then I see this! I knew you'd love it. I love their interaction - they do look like brothers having fun. My favorite part is Freddie's improvisation - keep dancing, keep rocking, bye-bye, bye-bye. Love your reaction too. Thanks!
I read that before Saturday Night...Freddie was motioning for Elton backstage to come and take the piano. It looks like he may be doing that. Has anyone else heard this? Hap this was fantastic, great reaction!
I have heard that too. It was actually discussed on one of the recent episodes of the Queenpod. Saturday Night's Alright (For Fighting)...Queen actually sang this cover quite a few times spanning the tours for A Day at the Races and New of the World. Cool! :)
All of the band really loved and grew up with this early Rock n Roll. This medly is fully grooving and pays tribute to some of their favorites. That was their encore set. God Save The Queen is always the final song as Queen leaves the stage.
70s Queen is very good & live is a pleasurable experience! I love the small stage, they were tight in every way. As you can see this is the end of the night & they are all still 🔥🔥🔥 yes Freddie was very humble. Us older folks know these kind of songs...don’t seek out big spender lol ETA: Queen were proud of their British heritage. 👍
This was just awesome! Haven't seen it before. It's a blast to see new live footage. Especially not knowing what Freddie is going to do. All four look and sound fantastic! Great reaction!
He said in an interview this week that it was a defining moment in his career but nerve wracking, you can't muck up and redo it, it was live, he was not sure the Queen was happy about him doing it.
Ur face expressions here were priceless 👍🏼 Fantastic reaction!! I enjoyed this so much!!! They were just all out!! Awww 🧡 Thanks Lovey M for requesting this video to Hap!
Hap, I love your HONEST reactions ❤️ I have been following your musical journey daily 💕 and I'm learning and enjoying music I get introduced a lot. I meant A LOT. So "Thank you" I love early Queen 👑 I agree with you, they were just too good even back in 70s. Awww loved this video. Enjoyed your humors which made me smile too. 😊💜
While hard to marry sequins, Master of Ceremonies circus attire & a shaved chest with R&R, I am managing more and more to see why long time Queen fans are so tethered to the early days. Agree there was lots of life before Wembly...ah, the formative years. Everything on the table. And no one is missing Roger's lack of clothing, luv.
Freddie was already 31 here, kind of old for a young rock band. My fav is the rock n roll medley at Wembley in 1986 so you are right. 1986 was their prime IMO! Did you know Brian played "God Saved the Queen" from the roof of Buckingham Palace for the Queen's Jubilee? Very cool!
I say WOW too!!! I've always loved their live rock and roll medleys, but I'd never heard this one before - definitely their longest and most spectacular medley - every member of Queen was totally in the zone and they put me in the zone. I'm gonna download it so I can dance to it while I do housework. AND of course I loved your reaction (as usual!). 😍
YASSS! I've said it before and I'll say it again, I love, love love the rock n Roll' medleys. Thanks for this Hap3s. The playing of the National Anthem signaled the end of the night.
Fantastic reaction my friend! I have seen this video before but never saw or heard the nuances that you did and pointed them out to us! That is why I believe you are the BEST REACTOR on RUclips tube, you do it for the family and to educate us about the music! Love ❤️ from across the pond, Dee
I think just to prove a point it doesn't matter what ones wears or looks like god such a Legend way Ahead of there time ! An I think Freddie lived in other life's before an after this one 🌈🍀🌺🌼🥇👑🦋🌹
This IS early but Rodger has his "best haircut in the world" blonder hair. Although John has his very early hair. Like you said.....they are pretty raw compared to later years. Not to mention doing other peoples songs. Another thing I notice is later stuff they do their eye contact more subtle. I can see it obvious here.
Gotta LOVE Freddie 😍😍😂 such an awesome band , saw them back in the day ❤❤❤❤ please do a bit of Queen with Adam . Freddie didn't perform their later hits live , but Adam does a great performance especially I want it all . Seen them with Adam twice , was a bit aprehensive , but still a great show even tho Freddie missing x
Please react to Brian May singing Another World and Back To The Light in performances with his own band after the loss of Freddie. Thanks for all your many insights to your many requests!!
You're so right, Freddie never messes with John :) Maybe it's related to what Freddie said about him one time - that John was too straight. On the other hand, they were very close, as far as I've heard.
Brian introduced using God save the Queen in 75 Not sure if this was his attempt to make sure people thought their band name was only regal,patriotic... And not think it had anything to do with queen meaning flamboyant gay man! But it works!
It’s time I saw Queen was on tv around 74. Killer Queen hit the charts. Freddie had one of those 1 pc orange checked suits on. He was jumping all over the stage & I was thinking. I like their music but Fred was an absolute weirdo!! No way would I ever go see the group ever. 😂😂
An important thing to remember (since you've been doing the Brian May/Roger Taylor commentary): Brian May and Roger Taylor are history revisionists who are very often full of shit. A recent example? Last week May said that he "wasn't comfortable" with Freddie's lyrics in Don't Stop Me Now because they were "too flippant in view of the dangers of AIDs." Except the song was written and recorded in 1978, and AIDS wasn't even known about outside of medical journals until the early '80s. Then there was the utterly inaccurate portrayal of Freddie in the Bohemian Rhapsody movie (don't even get me started on that). Just to name two examples out of many. So him talking about them not being polished? At the time of this show, they had seven albums out and had performed live hundreds of times. As for this video (now that I'm done ranting), I've always loved it. And John absolutely killed it. His bass is everything here -- well, except for the Saturday Night's All Right For Fighting part. Finally, it's med-ley, not melody. :-P
Or you're just being an insensitive nitpicker. People knew there were dangers in the promiscuous lifestyle, there was concern about it even before people knew the word AIDS. You can see this in a lot of documentaries about that time. And the people who whine about the movie always have some weird fan fiction idea of Freddie that they're annoyed didn't make it to screen. It's very obviously a celebration, not some expose, and thankfully the overwhelming majority of the world could see that. They knew him. You didn't. Get some perspective. And life is not as simple as "there were seven albums therefore polished." This isn't a math problem. That's not always how bands view themselves. And they don't have their lives memorized like a Wiki entry.
I've had my share of rants about brian including his nonsense about DSMN I didn't now about his recent interview he's making himself look a right idiot he admitted years ago his issue was his song having gay overtones he said he had a go at Freddie over it Then he said he didn't like it because its about danger There was no reason to be worried about Freddie at that time He didnt take drugs to excess and wasn't promiscuous at that time he left David for Joe in 78 When he did party they only knew something was wrong in 81by the time the public had clear information unfortunately it was probably too late it was only played live at a few venue in 79 and not played again he's trying to rubbish everything freddie did he doesn't seem to give any consideration to how Freddie felt,I'm sure being in the band was miserable at times I bet brian has found a way to make money of the song! I hate how he's implying he wrote this song and was flippant about aids when no one even knew But a lot of people will see his interview or quotes and have the wrong opinion about Freddie yet again! Edit Brian claimed he didn't like the song because it was sepratism and roping people out Not caring that Freddie would feel roped out and effected by sepratism But on the same album Brian writes fat bottom girls which he has claimed to be about girsls who make performers feel better back stage! Also implies child sex abuse! But this is absolutely fine, but Freddie singing Supersonic woman Supersonic guy Is unacceptable!?
@@theaterpup3466 Funny. May said "too flippant in view of the dangers of AIDs." That's the quote, talking about a song written and recorded years before AIDS was known about. As for the movie, my issue isn't "some fan fiction idea of Freddie," it's the fact that the movie was full of inaccuracies. To name just a couple, Freddie never fired their manager, and Freddie didn't disappear into a drug and alcohol induced haze, resulting in the band booting him out and making him beg to return, just in the nick of time to perform at Live Aid. They released The Works album in early 1984, and while Freddie and Roger were both working on solo albums that year, they also began The Works tour, which ended in May of 1985, just two months before that concert. I'm not pretending like I knew him, I'm talking about reality. But you can call that kind of BS a "celebration."
@@theaterpup3466 Brian had already admitted that his real issue was that the song had gay overtones He has since claimed he didn't like it out of concern, even though there was no reason to be at that time Freddie left a 3 year relationship with David for Joe Brian had no issue with get down make love! Now he's implying he wrote that song when he was aware of Aids!? No one knew about Aids until years later If there were health/std concerns would Brian be aware? It doesn't seem as if there was much public information in the 70s In the 80s despite so many dying,it was a long time until there was proper clear information or advice for safe sex etc Apart from dont! Or implying your only at risk if your promiscuous and so on So I doubt there would be much public information in the 70s about health concerns for gay men Brian is talking nonsense Edit Brian seems to forget that he and Roger have both admitted to being promiscuous And Roger has admitted to dabbling in drugs Some reason their behaviours are treated differently
@@bluebell3720 Honey, these are not people you know. This isn’t your fan fiction. Freddie does not need defending from his own band. They were not his enemies. They lost him. And I have no doubt he felt pain having to leave them. Your posts are ridiculous and cruel. And to say there was “no danger” is incredibly ignorant. So is saying no one was worried before ‘80. Please read a bit more about that time period before commenting. You’re spreading disinformation.
big discussion lower down Brian uncomfortable with DSMN as it was flippant about AIDS NO 1978 JAZZ Nov DSMN Jan 79 there was only concerns mid, late 81 in the medical proffeession 82 investigated what was going on but clear information wasn't given to the public for a long time so saying Freddie was flippant about AIDS in 78 is wrong and unfair also wrong to claim his lifestyle is why he had issues with it 93 and 98 Brian was honest and explained the reason he had an issue with it was that it had gay overtones, saw it as sepratism and was worried people realsing he was gay would effect them as a band and loose them fans he also didn't like the song because Freddie wouldn't allow heavy guitar on it! 2011 onwards Brian still mentioned sepratism but also started claiming the reason he didn't like it was due to concerns about Freddies life style which wasn't an issue at the time 78 he was introduced to some clubs in NY but wasn't really involved in it (he was promiscious early 80s) or taking drugs to excess he left a 3 year relationship with David for Joe Brians only real issue with DSMN was he had originally explained that it had gay overtones on the same album Brian wrote FBGs same album Freddie wrote let me entertain you it would have made more sense for him to have issue with that one but he didn't,if he had been concerned about his life style that's the one he would have disliked his issue was it implied sexuality it was only played on a few venues 79 then not again fredddie GDML from the previous year he was fine with, this and the others were played at all venues for several tours what's the difference they're about sex not sexuality instead of being honest he's making Freddie look worse with each interview
I love how your reaction on Roger's "Everybody Rock 'n' Roll!" is quite similar to Freddie's in Wembley '86, when Roger is going "One, two, three, four!" to start 'Another One Bites The Dust' while he wasn't ready yet

Awww. Who is that critic. We never felt that way. He is our disco Deaky!
What a terrible thing to say about John, when it is clearly just an introvert thing (not to be able to enjoy things publicly)
YESSSS - Great song!
@@debramoore7513 Definitely is. Love your icon, too. Is that from the Budapest show?
@@debramoore7513 Nah, I realized it’s Wembley 😬 lol
This is my most FAVORITE Freddie outfit EVER!!!!! I even made my own t-shirt of an image of him wearing it (probably from this show!) & I rhinestoned the whole catsuit!!!! WOOHOO!!!! ROCK N ROLL!!!!
And the photo of him in this costume with the white mask over his eyes - on anyone else it would look ridiculous, but on Freddie he is the king of cool.. my favorite photo of him
While watching them, the lyrics came to mind: "But it's been no bed of roses
No pleasure cruise"...they really worked hard for their success, didn't they?
Been watching queen all my days, and this is the first time I've seen this, kudos for digging this out, hope your well and keep save mate....
I have heard that peacocks were all extremely ENVIOUS of Freddie's strut
I bet they were...'cause even if they tried, they couldn't match Freddie.
@@Anisabell2 no Freddie was definitely one of a kind.
All God’s creatures are jealous of Freddie!! 😂
@@debramoore7513 🤩🤩🤩🤩😘
Don't come close to fabulous Freddie!
So much fun and energy on stage.
Their medleys were always magnificent!
Stay safe, and dont forget you are the Super-reacter 👑🌟
ohhh i love this rock n roll medley🤘🏾 weeeew is roger shirtless? ohhhh so hot in his drum😍 glad you’ve mentioned john deacon how he slapp that bass. freddie as always gives you surprise! what a show!💛🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾
I'm a big Queen fan and have never seen this, wonderful stuff, thanks mate !!!
It
looks like he may be doing that.
Us older folks know these kind of songs...don’t seek out big spender lol
ETA: Queen were proud of their British heritage. 👍
One of their well 'rehearsed' encores! Queen prepared to be 'performers extraordinaire' which meant entertain til it was ovah!!!!
This was just awesome! Haven't seen it before. It's a blast to see new live footage. Especially not knowing what Freddie is going to do. All four look and sound fantastic! Great reaction!
PS ....Brian played our nation anthem on the top of Buckingham palace , I think it was for the golden jubilee 🤔 not sure , but worth a look 👑👑👑
He said in an interview this week that it was a defining moment in his career but nerve wracking, you can't muck up and redo it, it was live, he was not sure the Queen was happy about him doing it.
It’s fantastic!
Ur face expressions here were priceless 👍🏼 Fantastic reaction!! I enjoyed this so much!!! They were just all out!! Awww 🧡 Thanks Lovey M for requesting this video to Hap!
Hap, I love your HONEST reactions ❤️
I have been following your musical journey daily 💕 and I'm learning and enjoying music I get introduced a lot. I meant A LOT. So "Thank you"
I love early Queen 👑 I agree with you, they were just too good even back in 70s. Awww loved this video. Enjoyed your humors which made me smile too. 😊💜
Yes thank you I noticed that too ! But John always felt he didn't bring anything to the floor
Absolutely loved your reaction this is one of my favourites thank you 😊 x they always play the National Anthem at the end x
Love Queen but prefer how they evolved 💗 the process of "finding theirselves🤗
My favorite band! Loved this! Thanks Lovely! HAP, you were awesome! ❤️❤️❤️
Very cool!
Rock on with Hap3Speakz, can't go wrong!
Freddie sure liked his unitard.
Shakin': their money maker.....thank God he gave it to them!
Woooohoooo🔥
I say WOW too!!! I've always loved their live rock and roll medleys, but I'd never heard this one before - definitely their longest and most spectacular medley - every member of Queen was totally in the zone and they put me in the zone. I'm gonna download it so I can dance to it while I do housework. AND of course I loved your reaction (as usual!). 😍
I think you described John very well ;D
Freddie changed into that same (or copy of) outfit halfway into his charity BoRap singing/dance performance with the Royal Ballet in June 1979.
As an American. Royal or not. I feel for the woman who lost her man after 70+ years. May he rest in peace and may she find peace.
Woow!!! Yes the FANSTATIC FOUR!!!
That was a jam!!
, oh wow i love this thank you for sharing Queen forever My greatings from norway 🇸🇯🌹❤️
I think just to prove a point it doesn't matter what ones wears or looks like god such a Legend way Ahead of there time ! An I think Freddie lived in other life's before an after this one 🌈🍀🌺🌼🥇👑🦋🌹
Thanks, Hap -- HOLY SPEED, right?
Sequins ARE rock and roll, darling. Because of Freddie.
Freddie is the disco ball. Giggles.
Rock and ... fun! 😎 👍🏻👍🏻
Freddie wore this sparkly onesie when he danced with the Royal Ballet..check it out😂🤩
Please react to Brian May singing Another World and Back To The Light in performances with his own band after the loss of Freddie. Thanks for all your many insights to your many requests!!
You're so right, Freddie never messes with John :) Maybe it's related to what Freddie said about him one time - that John was too straight. On the other hand, they were very close, as far as I've heard.
ROGER was Exhausted poor fellow 😍🤩😎😉👍😘☺️🙏🍀🌈💟
Freddie used to wear a little eye mask with this get up and i believe ballet shoes as well.
I have loved Freddie since I was eleven, but I can only giggle at his attempts at "dancing". Deacy is the only one in the band who can dance!
Can't beat some rock and roll, love Freddie's outfit, 70's fashion, check out the platforms
Brian introduced using God save the Queen in 75
Not sure if this was his attempt to make sure people thought their band name was only regal,patriotic...
And not think it had anything to do with queen meaning flamboyant gay man!
But it works!
The world was a different world then.
Chuck Berry influence in the guitar solo.
Yes, i would you gave the link for this, but you are faster😁👍
I think Elton John was in the audience...that’s who Freddie was pointing at...just before he sang an Elton number “Saturday”🤩
Roger is primal rock and roll here. ;D
oh mein gutt
I Wonder how Long time Brian May have played one the amazing red guitar? He plays amazing ❤️🌹
Caro Hap , se potrai guarda con noi Big Spender versione kimono anni 74/75 ... o il Big Spender di Wembley 🥰 ciao carissimo
Hey Hap could you please do a Queen song called Stealing pretty please 🥺 😜😎😍🤩
I've had my share of rants about brian including his nonsense about DSMN
I didn't now about his recent interview
he's making himself look a right idiot
he admitted years ago his issue was his song having gay overtones
he said he had a go at Freddie over it
Then he said he didn't like it because its about danger
There was no reason to be worried about Freddie at that time
He didnt take drugs to excess and wasn't promiscuous at that time he left David for Joe in 78
When he did party they only knew something was wrong in 81by the time the public had clear information unfortunately it was probably too late
it was only played live at a few venue in 79 and not played again
he's trying to rubbish everything freddie did
he doesn't seem to give any consideration to how Freddie felt,I'm sure being in the band was miserable at times
I bet brian has found a way to make money of the song!
I hate how he's implying he wrote this song and was flippant about aids when no one even knew
But a lot of people will see his interview or quotes and have the wrong opinion about Freddie yet again!
Edit
Brian claimed he didn't like the song because it was sepratism and roping people out
Not caring that Freddie would feel roped out and effected by sepratism
But on the same album Brian writes fat bottom girls which he has claimed to be about girsls who make performers feel better back stage!
Also implies child sex abuse!
But this is absolutely fine, but Freddie singing
Supersonic woman
Supersonic guy
Is unacceptable!?
@@theaterpup3466
Brian had already admitted that his real issue was that the song had gay overtones
He has since claimed he didn't like it out of concern, even though there was no reason to be at that time
Freddie left a 3 year relationship with David for Joe
Brian had no issue with get down make love!
Now he's implying he wrote that song when he was aware of Aids!?
No one knew about Aids until years later
If there were health/std concerns would Brian be aware?
It doesn't seem as if there was much public information in the 70s
In the 80s despite so many dying,it was a long time until there was proper clear information or advice for safe sex etc
Apart from dont!
Or implying your only at risk if your promiscuous and so on
So I doubt there would be much public information in the 70s about health concerns for gay men
Brian is talking nonsense
Edit
Brian seems to forget that he and Roger have both admitted to being promiscuous
And Roger has admitted to dabbling in drugs
Some reason their behaviours are treated differently
@@bluebell3720 Honey, these are not people you know. This isn’t your fan fiction. Freddie does not need defending from his own band. They were not his enemies. They lost him. And I have no doubt he felt pain having to leave them. Your posts are ridiculous and cruel. And to say there was “no danger” is incredibly ignorant. So is saying no one was worried before ‘80. Please read a bit more about that time period before commenting. You’re spreading disinformation.
big discussion lower down
Brian uncomfortable with DSMN as it was flippant about AIDS
NO
1978 JAZZ Nov
DSMN Jan 79
there was only concerns mid, late 81 in the medical proffeession
82 investigated what was going on but clear information wasn't given to the public for a long time
so saying Freddie was flippant about AIDS in 78 is wrong and unfair
also wrong to claim his lifestyle is why he had issues with it
93 and 98 Brian was honest and explained the reason he had an issue with it was that it had gay overtones, saw it as sepratism and was worried people realsing he was gay would effect them as a band and loose them fans
he also didn't like the song because Freddie wouldn't allow heavy guitar on it!
2011 onwards Brian still mentioned sepratism but also started claiming the reason he didn't like it was due to concerns about Freddies life style which wasn't an issue at the time
78 he was introduced to some clubs in NY but wasn't really involved in it
(he was promiscious early 80s)
or taking drugs to excess
he left a 3 year relationship with David for Joe
Brians only real issue with DSMN was he had originally explained that it had gay overtones
on the same album Brian wrote FBGs
same album Freddie wrote let me entertain you
it would have made more sense for him to have issue with that one but he didn't,if he had been concerned about his life style that's the one he would have disliked
his issue was it implied sexuality
it was only played on a few venues 79 then not again
fredddie GDML from the previous year he was fine with, this and the others were played at all venues for several tours
what's the difference they're about sex not sexuality
instead of being honest he's making Freddie look worse with each interview
